Except IT has always been about explaining why the current endings are the way they are.
IT has never required a new ending, or a changed ending.

Again... The point this is missing: changing the ending would mean it didn't have any special meaning thus disproving the IT by default. As it stands at the moment everything is open, the only difference is that we now know we can expect a DLC where BioWare tries to show us the intention.KILLER SQUIDZ wrote...

Okay, this sucks. But I think you guys are overreacting. This is a very bad sign, but it's not IT's tombstone. I want to focus on two points here.
1. PR speak isn't gamer speak. The people who write press releases and such aren't the same people who devoted half their lives to gaming. They think things like "cinematic sequences" are bullet points to sell a product. They likely don't understand that we're chomping at the bit for more gameplay and may think that's just implied.
2. The delay doesn't mean it wasn't planned. Games run on deadlines like anything else. ME3 was already delayed for quite a while before it hit the shelves. 6 months at least, I think? They may have prioritized. Release the game up until the indoctrination ending and then finish the post-indoctrination content afterwards. It makes sense in that it buys them some precious extra months to really finish the game. They just didn't expect the immense backlash. How could they? No one did. I've never heard of any game or even movie with an ending that so enraged its fanbase that major news networks covered it. That's unheardof.
I advise my faithful line-holding comrades inarmskeyboards not to let this crush all hope. Step back and take a minute to consider the reasons this may not be what it seems at first glance. More importantly, take a look back at all the evidence that made you an IT believer in the first place. So much of it couldn't have been an accident, and so much of it would have been easy to remove if IT was scrapped. Weigh the possibility that all that was random chance versus the possibility that the press release was misleading/poorly worded/ect.
I haven't done the "holding the line" catchphrase yet, but I think this time I'll use it for emphasis. Harbinger himself will have to burn my lifeless corpse off the line.
I was thinking it and you said it.

Because for some people, 1260 pages is.... Boredom. (IMO)
Atleast i read everyday, thus reading all the pages. Well, but the same case happened when someone keeped posting the fake image of liara on the Earth talking with shephard. That was the most annoyest thing, hmpf...

False, I.T. would leave the current ending in there and can be summed up with a simple cinematic.

Many of the people believing into IT hoped so.
Problem with IT was always the lack of closure, now Bioware is going to give us a closure and likely they will use indoctrination. After all, they have sown the seeds of IT into the game in the first place.

No additional info at PAX.
Im losing faith in IT by the hour.
My main problem since the announcement of the "Extended cut" is that gamble said earlier on his twitter the dlc is being made because of the feedback.
Meaning it wasn't planned so it is very likely the original dirt ending was to be the end of shep.
I could believe IT if it was planned pre-release
now it seems hopeless

I really don't see how that article this morning even remotely disproves te indoctrination theory. They are expanding and clarifying the current endings. The indoctrination theory is meant to clarify and with the help of DLC will expand the ending. IT makes sense of the ending we currently have and call for it to not be change.
Im honestly starting to believe that people like to panic. Everybody needs to chill, they wont ditch us, how do they expect people to buy future DLC with an ending like what we have now? How is it worth it? They will fix it, and you will all want to play all 3 games again!
HOLD THE DAMN LINE , PEOPLE!

That supports my insane theory that Ferelden is just a planet where the food makes you crazy, like the one Jacob's dad was on.
Lyrium is element zero, magic is biotics, dwarves are volus, Darkspawn are Reaper husks, the Archdemon is a Thresher Maw, etc.

Steve, pick up your weopon soldier and get back to the line! We never said this would be easy! Keep your head up and look to others for support! We can hold this line until the summer!
Listen, the whole point we were trying to make about the IT is that it doesnt matter what ending we recieved in game that eventually they would be releasing an expansion to the current ending. Bioware has even said themselves that they were makeing content that was planned all along!! Nothing has changed for me and it shouldnt change for you either.

Not sure about the Archdemon, could be more of a Harvester. (Seriously the first time I saw a Harvester in the trailer of ME3 I had to think about an Archdemon)
In addition: Golems are synthetics, obviously. Why else would Shale have killed the Mage that had found her.

They said they were working on, not that they started from scratch. So no, not very definitive at all. Besides its Bioware were talking about when have they EVER said anything solid?
