Has anybody looked at the PAX schedule? Each day there is this:11:30am ET – 12:30pm ET: A BioWare Announcement
Does anybody know what that's about?
Speculation!
Also one is probably goign to be DA3 related, The second day is going to announce that they have announcements to make on Sunday about announcements for future announcements.
No. No. I was being self deprecating, you're good.gunslinger_ruiz wrote...

Is it me, or do people not read anymore? Cuz we have been answering the same question about changing the ending for the past ten+ pages
10 pages go by freaking fast in this thread, I can't keep up. Obvsiously. I'm pretty sure as I reply to this you've moved on and talking about something completely different now.. lol.
....One couple simply put all the answers in their sig to save themselves some future typing. That way you'd just have to type "See my signature, #such and such on the list".
Sorry, I've been playing DA2 as "funny" Hawke... My lack of humor is not lost on me.

So, here's another nice little plothole they would need to explain. if you choose Destroy Tali will now hate you. You wiped out the Geth who were helping the Quarians settle Rannoch. Without the Geth Ish just got real on Rannoch. Not including the fact that you are going to kill a lot of quarians who have the Geth linked into their suits most likely.

Did you chose destroy or synthesis. Cause there was a long conversation this after noon about no one seeing EDI after the destroy option.Eshaye wrote...

Well I've done it. I changed my signature, I hope you're all very happy.Holding the damn line!
Also I'd like some clarification I've seen it mentioned a bit some time ago but. The quadmates you take with you at the end, they are dead are they not? I'm asking because I took Javik and Alenko, but during the Normandy crash Kaidan walks out of the ship after Joker and EDI... I was like.... You're dead...??
If your EMS is low enough; when you wake up from getting hit by Harbinger's beam, instead of 4 dead alliance grunts and 1 crawler infront of you you see your 2 squadmates with 2 of the dead alliance grunts + the crawler. As I understand it you also only get the choice of the "default" destroy ending which isn't the same as the good "destroy" one.
With high enough EMS I've always seen at least one of my squadmates come out of the Normandy crash, or my love interest or both (I took my love interest with me each time I went through the ending).

IT or bust, and IT doesn't seem likely anymore. Literal ending is as bad as really terrible anime as far as the writing goes.
on the bright side, I can kill off the geth now with 0 repercussion!gunslinger_ruiz wrote...

Speculative. Paragon Shepard would convince her it's for the best and to move on (if Shep is still alive), she has her planet back now and the entire Fleet to look after. Renegade Shepard would tell her to get over it, she herself wanted to kill the geth not long ago, and she has a planet to back to now. The Quarians had always planned to re-adapt to Rannoch without the Geth, bringing peace between them is a huge added bonus for having a high Reputation score, changes the whole shape of their society. Without the Geth they can always change back to their original plans.
Don't forget without that Reputation score you're forced to either side with the Geth or the Quarians, effectivley wiping out one or the other.
Edit: Killing the Geth linked to Quarian suits Could kill them but not necessarily. Can't say for sure if their would be suit ruptures or an explosion, or just a brief system shutdown leaving the suit seals intact.

Not all hope is lost. I'd recommend saving final jugdements until after the "Extended Cut" is released.

It might or might not be true, but it would provide a possible explaination on why they weren't quite expecting the kind of backlash that they got.The stuff with the Catalyst just... You have to understand. Casey is really smart and really analytical. And the problem is that when he's not checked, he will assume that other people are like him, and will really appreciate an almost completely unemotional intellectual ending.
And now, since so many players didn't get/appreciate it (and honestly, who can blame them? Players were totally caught off-guard - here they were expecting the final fight to be some epic battle scenes a la LOTR but they got a Deus Ex Machina a la Matrix instead) they're gonna have to 'clarify' and 'expand' it. I read this as 'to reinforce the possibility of a hidden plot, while neither confirming nor denying it. Oh, closures too.'"I didn't want the game to be forgettable. Even right down to the sort of polarizing reaction that the ends have had with people - debating what the endings mean and what's going to happen next, and what situation are the characters left in."

Before I go to bed, I want to say one thing I would like you guys to keep in mind about today's DLC announcement:
It literally changes nothing, nor gives new information we didnt already have.
Bioware has been saying for the past few weeks that they were planning content to expand more upon the endings, but that they had no plans for entirely new endings.
All the announcement today did was make that official, and clarify what exactly they meant.
All you people who are losing hope in IT need to keep in mind the fact that nothing has changed.
Good night. <3
