OK, I think the thing that came out of this panel in regards to Indoc Theory is an increased sense of unity. Sure, we've lost some, but if they could be swayed by the intentionally vague stuff Bioware said, then honestly, we didn't need them. This is the Crucible for us, the thing that tests OUR resolve, the event that separates the Men from the Boys. Those of us who still believe, we will Hold the Line until the end. We will refuse to give up. And we will never lose faith until IT is confirmed, or it has been smashed into the dust. WE WILL HOLD THE LINE!!!!

If you were trying to figure out the better shot, you'd keep going until one of you missed. Garrus stopped after you shot your second bottle, because he's a better friend than you are, and wanted you to feel good.

Huh, never thought of it that way.  Besides, we all know that Garrus could have shot in the exact opposite direction of the bottle and STILL hit it.

Nah. My intepretation was always seeing my Shep and Garrus having this Leoglas and Gimli relation akin to helms deep. Always trying to outdo each other in good sport.

I think people are jus tying way too much negativity to that "um". I mean, imstead of sayimg "it shows how observant our fans are" which would give it away, he gibes it a thought...and said, commited.. hence the "um"

We do. And at least I silently agree.

My suspicion is that they plan to deliver additional content that can still be interpreted either way (i.e. face value or IT).

You were originally a strong supporter of this theory, now here you are trying to kill everyone else's hopes of it still being true. Just because YOU let vague stuff get to you, doesn't mean WE do. If I want to grasp at straws, I'll grasp at all the goddamn straws I want.

In other words, stop trying to force everyone to see it your way. It's irritating. Especially since you liked this theory to begin with.

Till then, more analysis and speculation. I'll be over here actually trying to find evidence that could counter IT. I'm welcoming everyone else to do so as well. If we can ensure that IT holds water without giving in to confirmation bias, the better the theory will stand.

SHEP WAKES UP ON THE CITADEL (or so I'm guessing) since at the PAX panel they make a point of saying individual parts of the Citadel can seal themselves off. So I'm really doubting the DLC will have anything to do with the indoctrination theory.

Pretty much. They'll go out of their way to NOT destroy the possiblity of alternate interpretation to not lose fans, but for me it's pretty clear that they actually aren't planning it to be canon in any way.
