You were originally a strong supporter of this theory, now here you are trying to kill everyone else's hopes of it still being true. Just because YOU let vague stuff get to you, doesn't mean WE do. If I want to grasp at straws, I'll grasp at all the goddamn straws I want.

its not vague anymore people. they said what happened happened. The citedael blew. they are gonna have shep survive because he was in this "seal thing" the described. its done. wake up. this WAS NOT VAGUE. it was and answer wrapped in a way to sugar coat it.

If you lose all hope because of a vague answer and yesterday's DLC announcement which didnt say anything we hadnt already known for weeks, I'd venture a guess and say your faith in IT wasnt very strong to begin with.

Only two really interesting answers. The rest is meh.

For the IT theory: I think it still stands. Let´s just wait and see. Just like they said.

Pretty much. They'll go out of their way to NOT destroy the possiblity of alternate interpretation to not lose fans, but for me it's pretty clear that they actually aren't planning it to be canon in any way.

Agreed. While I truly hoped they would make IT canon (if anything than for its sheer elegance), they do not seem too commited to that idea. Rather, they still seem to be aiming at some inception-style ending.

parts of the arms can seal themselves. but shep was not near the arm he/she was at the top of the tower and there was nothing to seal

I thought that pax was going to help bring peace to all of us, instead Bioware just gave everyone the MIDDLE Finger again. They avoided the ending questions that nobody said about, and the IT theory they just gave people more bull crap about is it real or not. Well Bioware is about to relive the fall of Rome again and this time they will have nothing to help them bounce back from this disaster they created.

OK, I think the thing that came out of this panel in regards to Indoc Theory is an increased sense of unity. Sure, we've lost some, but if they could be swayed by the intentionally vague stuff Bioware said, then honestly, we didn't need them. This is the Crucible for us, the thing that tests OUR resolve, the event that separates the Men from the Boys. Those of us who still believe, we will Hold the Line until the end. We will refuse to give up. And we will never lose faith until IT is confirmed, or it has been smashed into the dust. WE WILL HOLD THE LINE!!!!

People are clapping.

An audience will clap and cheer for just about anything. For instance, music contest reality shows. After a horrid performance, the audience still claps and cheers like crazy ANYWAY.

Then why are you still here then?  If IT is dead to you, then you're just going to make yourself go mad staying in this thread with us nonbelievers

i wanted it to be true. so hard i did. if hope was enough, it would have appeared before me. its not. im trying to help you. hope can sometimes be a bad thing. you will get hardcore trolled for still denying it at this point. trust, i'm leaving, not because im mad or anything at you guys, we were all great in the creativity of it all. but now its time to move on.
