Here is what i think the dlc ending will show

Shep wakes up from beating indoctrination to find that his team mates digging him out of the rubble. THey tell him they need to get him medical attention, but shep just tells them to give him a medi gel. He then leads them into the beam and up to the citadel. They fight their way to the control panel (it is a cinematic no need for gameplay), shep opens the citadel arms and the crucible docks. But nothing happens. The harbinger communicates with shep and tells him that the crucible was never designed to help defeat them but only to help the reapers (reaper trojan horse) and he goes on to gloat that he is the only one that controld the reapers (bad guys always gloat and give up secrets when they think that they have won.)

Shep and team figure that harbys destruction is the key to beating the reapers and get picked up by cortez who fixed the shuttle and go back to normandy. THere shep calls the fleet and through a rousing speech tells them that harbingers destruction will win them the war and so orders the fleet to stop attacking reapers randomly and instead attack harby.

The whole fleet starts firing on harby (you get to see you EMS at work) and when he blows up all the other reapers explode too (they are connected by a powerful dark energy/subspace network) including all the reapers in other parts of the galaxy.

With the war over, shep is in the infirmary where hackett and anderson show up to tell him that he will be givern the highest honor the alliance has as well as promotion. BUt shep says that he is ready for the quiet life with his LI and so (if with liara, has alot of blue children or with tali goes to rannoch and builds her a house) lives happily and peacefully while the Mass effect universe continues.

Oh and if you picked the control or synthisis endings, then sdhep never wakes up and the reapers win..becuase the indoc dream is a test to see if you can see past the lie that harbinger was showing you.

what do you guys think of that?

The ending DLC won't show that.

Ok one more post because this was too funny...

I have a 5 year old son.

The following is an actual conversation we had not 3 minutes ago. I am not making this up. This JUST happened.

Me: Did Imtell you I finished off Mass Effect 3?
Son: What happened?
Me: it was rubbish.
Son: why?
Me: it was just silly
Son: Well... Was there a big monster?
Me: Nope. You know what you have to do at the end?
Son: ... A big fight?
Me: no, you go for a walk.
Son: ... What?
Me: You go for a walk and have a chat with a ghost
Son: *confused look* ...What?
Me: Yeah. That's what I said.
Son: (thinks for 5 seconds) Dad, that's silly. You can play Skylanders on my XBox instead, if you want. It has monsters
Me: Thanks buddy.

Just wanted to share that. I think it sums it up nicely.

Bye all.... B)

This is the cutest thing in history.  You reproduced correctly.

"Artistic integrity they said, goddamn crap I said" <---- I don't know who took Zaeeds remark and turned it against Bioware like this but it fits.

Until we do see it, it is fun to speculate.  And anyway i wanted to knnw what you thought of my kick ass ending.
IT might still happen this way, everyrhing in my ending could be shown in a few cinematics.

Brilliant idea,  would be perfect, unfortunately Bioware have already said cinimatics and epilouge only, no new content, no Boss fight ( Info taken from twitter posts and statments)...
Just clarification whatever that means, so the fans can understand the key points(btw I find the assestion that we somehow missed the point a bit condesending) how the realys can suddenly be rebuilt without any issue despite no one knowing how they work, no one starves despite the obvious Quarian and Turian issues and why Joker was running away... apparently having left you for dead, but finding the time to pick up your team... Some how this will lead us to resolution... hmmmmmmmmmm

Honestly at this point I wish I could think the best and believe and trust them... I just can't, I don't think they have a plan and I have a horrible feeling the DLC will only make matters worse.

I hope to god I'm wrong, I honestly do, if they pull it off and make it work no one will be happier than me (well possibly my GF who is having to live with mePosted Image) But at this stage, I just don't think thats going to happen

I don't see how the indoctrination can't still work with the ending DLC.

Honestly, that's exactly what we need. Flesh out the endings while keeping the current scenes is in exact accordance with the indoctrination theory...

The Quarian liveships are the only known reliable source of food, and it's capacity to handle two fleet is questionable. The fleets likely didn't bring a huge industrial base with them to support food synthesis, and Earth is messed. Remember, the reapers were targeting industrial centers.

But, Bioware said that no one starves. They said that much conclusively.

The only problem I seem to have is that indoctrination wasn't biowares master plan. Would've been really cool if they had that ace up their sleeves.. but they didn't. Yeah their doublespeak seems to indicate that it could be true.. to anyone who wishes to interpret it that way..but i don't think it is at this point. I would hope the new dlc leaves room for us Indoc theorists to interpret it as indoctrination. my opinion of course.

The Quarins do have liveships which are farms, but enough food for their people and the Turians, for a prolonged period while its worked out firstly how the relays work and then to rebuild them trusting that the people on the other end of the relay will be able to do the same thing... doubtful... I'm sure Bioware will say no its fine they had plenty of supplies and they were able to download the relay plans from a dead reaper, but seriously... no, that sort of ham fisted explanation will just make it worse, Indocrtonation Theory was their best chance of pulling off a fix and it would seem they are not following it based on twitter posts.

At this stage just cause they tell me something is suddenly possible, I won't be believing it... space magic ruined my faith in that one.

Mate i did say during the post that the whole thing would be cinematics, no gameplay...just one big epic 10 to 20 minute movie.

I'm wondering if the ending is a corporate decision. Maybe EA, or the suits at BioWare want to end the ME series and move on to something else, without Commander Shepard. That's why the best they can offer us is "closure".

They even admitted that Shepard being indoctrinated in the storyline was considered at some point, but the idea was scrapped.

No they said they scrapped the game mechanics they were trying, doesnt mean they scrapped indoctrination from the story.  Since bioware are not confirming or denying it and just said to us to basically "wait and see" leaves me with alot of hope that it will be included.
