If and IF the relays were destroyed, then this would mean they'd have to rebuild the relays in under a week (or a month at best with dextro supplies) to satisfy these conditions, i highly doubt such a feat is possible.

They did the same in March and never denied there wouldn't be anything huge at PAX.
All this teasing for aparently nothing is making me dizy.

After this ending fiasco.. the only thing that makes sense is a possibility of mass effect 4.. or some huge me3 expansion. I don't see how they can fill in the plot holes.

You mean the "ending will be on the disc" comment? Yeah. Not sure what to make of it. On one hand it doesn't do IT any favors to say the ending IS there, but on the other hand why would he say that at all? It's like going up to a security guard at a store and saying "I didn't shoplift anything!" out of the blue. Maybe they did intend it to be on the disc and they just didn't have it finished by release so they released it instead of holding back for content that'd be locked anyway. I don't know.

I honestly can't believe that they avoided as much AT pax, and mike gamble stated they had some huge news for us at pax, Cant imagine this was the multiplayer announcement considering the sheer rage of the majority of fans over the ending.  Guess until "sometime in april" we just have to wait and wonder, but you can be sure fans will be livid if it is another multiplayer annoucement.

I will? This is just more of the same; they don't want to alienate the IT believers who are giving them way more credit than they deserve.

Again, Merizan is a PR rep, not a dev. Her job is to appease people, downplay some of the anger and disappointment,  and keep the faith alive. Remember, she thought the Normandy crashed on Earth, then maybe Mars. I haven't put much stock in her claims lately, but, again, the IT relies on accepting "evidence" that supports it and rejecting everything else as false.

So, go to town with your speculation. I do find it humorous that you felt the need to single me out in your response, when I have avoided posting in the thread since last night and was content to keep on avoiding it.

No, that is not what it says. Read again.
As far as the statement goes, the Extended DLC could be their big announcement. And no, they wouldn't have said it then, otherwise that would be a bad marketing strategy - you don't tell that you have nothing in story.

Mass Effect - unstable
The Old Republic - good

They're not going to do that. As much as we may want them to, they're not going to "spoil" the new ending. In honesty, I wouldn't be surprised if they're still writing how to "clarify" their endings.

I look forward to knowing:

• Why Harbinger left Shepard to live
• How Anderson managed to get to the control room first when he followed Shep
• Why Anderson didn't wait
• Why the "Starchild" saved Shepard and gave him/her the option to break the cycle at all
• Why Joker turned and ran from the fight completely breaking character
• How my squad got onboard the Normandy
• How Shep survived getting blown up
• How the solar system survived the Relay explosion
• How the "aliens" will survive on that new Eden

Of course, the vast majority of those can be explained with the Indoctrination Theory but I can't wait to see how they explain those without I.T....

Yes, but not only is it firmly established with the constraints of the story, not coming out of left field like SPAAAACE MAGIIIC does, it ALSO has a scientific precedent, elements with extremely low atomic weights, elements constitsintg primarily of neutrons, which Eezo is stablished to be, ect.

Yeah I always figure when somebody avoids a yes or no question the way they did it usually indicates that its a yes.


After all has anyone noticed that bioware has most  of everyone else thought they'd do with the ending from teh 4th option to the "rescue" DLCs yet they haven't once talked in detail about the indoctrination theory

 

Could also just be the guy being nervous, I'm a former debate champ and I can state with certainty, people go "um" alot when theyre nervous and doing public speaking.

  The Truth was never debunked beyond stating "Do you really think we'd call something "The Truth"? And considering Resurgence.. well "The Truth" seems alot more likely, now don't it?
