Because we paid attention to the game.
Only after the theory was formed. You made the bulk of the evidence fit the theory; it didn't suggest the theory was true before the theory existed. In fact, most of it didn't mean anything until people decided that it supported the IT because that was the only way it would "make sense".

You mean the "ending will be on the disc" comment? Yeah. Not sure what to make of it. On one hand it doesn't do IT any favors to say the ending IS there, but on the other hand why would he say that at all? It's like going up to a security guard at a store and saying "I didn't shoplift anything!" out of the blue. Maybe they did intend it to be on the disc and they just didn't have it finished by release so they released it instead of holding back for content that'd be locked anyway. I don't know.
About that. I can actually believe that, as far as the xbox vesion is concerned.
You start off with disc1 (of course). All priority missions up until Sur'kesh are on disc1, but when you want to do a side mission, like the Grissom Academy, you have to switch to disc2. And everything after Sur'Kesh, Priority and Sidemissions are on disc2. Only when you have to go to TIMs base you have to switch back to disc1, bcuz like in ME2, the last battle is on disc1.
In ME2 everything up until Horizon is on disc1, everything else on disc2. Except the final battle.
The way I see it, that at this point disc1 is half empty for no reason.
But then again the PC players would have found the "ending" by now...
They didn''t find the ending but they found a bunch of unused dialogue that that sounds like it takes place at the end, and they also found a bunch of unused multiplayer assets, I'm thinking a fragment of the real end is already on our discs.

You should ALL know that calling somebody a troll because they disagree with you is the stupidest thing ever allow me to summarize this thread's findings
1) from the beginning of ME1 Shepard has had alot of personal time with Reaper tech (at least more then other characters)
2) The amount of evidence in game is crazy (aside form the infinite ammo pistol and some other negligible things that could pass as game mechanics/bad programming.
3) EVERYTHING bioware has said involving the endings and the indoctrination theory hasn't discredited the indoctrination theory nor has it confirmed is to turning to the press releases won't help much
4) The IT is still just a theory simply because counter points are difficult to come by/nonexistant doesn't mean its correct
5) Until bioware very explicitly says the IT is false (they've dispelled other rumors before and IMO this is getting pretty high up there) the IT will remain as valid as the "bioware just sucks at writing" argument.
