Sup!

Nah, in all seriousness, I'm just joking around here.

I'm putting a direct link to my post in my sig, so that it would be easy to rub in my face should I go back on my word. :) It's been modified to clarify both direct and indirect summoning, but it won't be modfied any more :P

Unless anyone has anything else for me, good luck, and I'll see you folks in the summer :)

Honestly? Everything after finishing the game and then all the PR garbage Bioware's been hurling makes me wonder if this ALL is a bad dream.

Insane idea, and I am sure it is as stupid as it sounds but with "The Truth" back on the table, what if the crucible is a device designed to gather renforcements? The idea being it can use the mass relays to pull ships currently using those relays to it's location before burning out. The caveat? What if it brings those ships forward through time?

What if the Relays end up pulling a big honking Prothean armada forward, depriving them the ships they needed to stand a better chance, and instead bolstering ours? I'm sure I'm completely wrong but, hey Stargate did it a few times.. so did Start Trek. Who's to say time travel is out of the question?

Space and time are defined by each other, the mass relays lower mass (and presumably by extension, space) to near negligible levels, what if they can reverse space to a negative with the Crucible's help? Or maybe I'm just rambling, who knows?

If they really include time travel, my already damaged brain will probably overheat and dissolve into reaper goo ...

I am not really a fan of Indoc theory but I wish it was true. Because endings as bad as the ones we were given should only exist in some twisted fantasy, not in reality. They should be just a bad, bad joke...

Remember that thing Mac did? That thing about the End of the First Matrix on his ending sheet?

Well, in the end of The Matrix, Neo ends up being The One after all.

Is Shepard The Catalyst?

Here's the thing... BioWare isn't going to directly deny or disprove IT. Because SPECULATIONS! However, the lack of a reveal and a continuation should be telling. There will be no "Shepard wakes up and finishes the job." If that was BioWare's intent, they would already have been working on it, and it would be coming out this month or next month. Instead, we're getting a glorified slide-show 3 months from now.

Bottom line: I refuse to invest any more energy into "holding the line" or "having faith" or whatever. That's just me, I guess. I don't believe in God either. Here's what I believe: BioWare frakked the ending up but good. They really and truly did introduce a completely new and utterly important character in the last 10 minutes of their epic saga, for the purpose of giving us an untestable info-dump upon which we must form the basis for making the most important decision in the game.

Lastly, I'll repeat this: The Shep Breathes scene is probably not on Earth. It's probably on the section of the Citadel he was in, which survived the worst of the explosion, self-sealed, now floating in space.

I read your long post recently.
I like your endings and how you qued it up with the music.  I like that regardless of Color choice the IT could be worked in.  I almost shared a tear about Garrus and Liara getting capped by Nemisis Shepard.
Good job.
But time travel.......that would TAKE MUCH MORE WORK than what Bioware has seeded within the game.  Also time is relative to one's postion within space.  If identical twins were raised in seprate locations, a ship going Subluminal speeds and one on Earth the one on Earth would be far older once the other twin got back.

I was wondering why IDT wasn't disproved by BW. And I came to conclusion tha IDT works in BW favor. IDT followers are making less damage. We spend time discussing, posting, making videos about IDT instead bombing Metacritic or Amazon. Instead raging all over interwebz we are just waiting IDT to happen and hoping/praising BW for brilliant twist.

That is why they didn't disproved IDT and why they are constantly feeding us with ambiguous Twetter posts.

This thread reminds me of the times before we had this stupid BSN and just the Bioware forums. It was full of heated debates and speculation and it was  a lot more fun, even when things got really passionate and a little out of hand. Now this thing is so big it's hard to have and follow discussions and know each other well.

I think Bioware enjoys when the community comes together like this and watch us think up theories about their work. I just hope their idea of clarifying things makes sense of the idiotic notion that organics need to be wiped because synthetics will eradicate them. :? Spent a whole game proving that wrong... There should be the option to say hummm no actually not going to happen stupid kid. Move aside.

:P

The fact that this DLC is taking as long as it is should give you some sort of hint that this won't be just a simple slideshow.

We have no idea what BioWare's intent was and even if they were to flat out tell you that their intention was IT all along, there would be people who don't believe them anyway, so what's the point? May aswell just leave people guessing.

That last part is so contrived I don't know what to say.. I'm sorry but Shepard being on the Citadel is just a ridiculous notion to me.

But hoestly to contribute to this thread, I hope IT is true, that would be epic and I would make sweet love to Bioware and Casey Hudson.

1) You clearly don't have any idea how long quality content takes to make.
2) Why the hell would you think we want to hear about your religious beliefs or lack thereof?
3) And I'll repeat this: Just like the last time you posted your opinion as fact, you have no evidence to back it up.

Since the Citadel is made out of metal-like shiny stuff, and even after reentry through Earth's atmosphere, shouldn't there be at least some silver looking scrap lying around Shepard?

And yet it all made sense at the time, was unambiguous, and was on the disc to begin with.

Not neccesarily. That stuff could have burned on entry. Then again, that would just make Shepard's survival... yeah...
