But hoestly to contribute to this thread, I hope IT is true, that would be epic and I would make sweet love to Bioware and Casey Hudson.

Play KOTOR... epic twist like this has been done before

But through DLC, that would be unprecedented, or would it.....................

And yet it all made sense at the time, was unambiguous, and was on the disc to begin with.

Back then was a COMPLETELY different time. Now we have s*** like DLCs, social networks. One might argue, that nowadays we're a pretty hard bunch to impress.

On the other hand, a twist shouldn't overstay it's welcome as it's pretty much doing right now.

there is like 8 GB of unaccounted for S*** on our disc and the KOTOR twist did not make sense until they told you. the hints they gave you were very vague

Hints were vague and yet with hindsight become obvious.

Oh, and there were files that listed the foliage we see on the planet the Normandy crashed as "Dream Foliage" or something like that. Got to find that thread again.

Folks. The rubble can be matched up against the pillar that Shepard destroys. He's still on the Citadel.

so finally got around to beating me3 and the whole ending sequence was a "what? huh? you kidding me?" moment. obviously havent read this whole thread, but what the IT theory seems to suggest, is the destroy option is the choice of fighting off indoctrination...ok, so he does that, then what? shep wakes up in the rubble of london and....everything is as it was? reapers are still basically slaughtering everyone, noone made it to the citadel since it was all a dream?

im really not sure if thats any better of an ending than it just being one huge hot mess

The vague responses from bioware and lack of comment on the extended cut AND the IT kinda show they're hiding something.

The fact that they completely balked that question should tell you quite a lot. They neither confirmed nor denied it rather they just brushed it aside. We will just have to wait for summer time and see if the Indoc Theory holds weight.

I have said before, I am pro IT

But just started my 4th play and I have always thought that the kid was real the first time shep sees him, but now when I saw him again (the part where he runs into the building) not only is the building completely different from the one he was playing at, but he just appears there right out of the blue (thats space magic right there). HOw did he do that, are we to believe that if the jid was real that he climbed up the side of the balcony before running inside. I think not.

No you won't. You can see right now that it holds absolutely zero weight. You just have to open your eyes and accept the game as told.

The only way you can entertain indoc is if you reject the game.

I find it strange that Anderson recognizes the husks but completely ignores the child. You would think Anderson would be like we gotta help him.

I disagree, the indoc theory absolutely fits and you cannot say for certain Bioware's intention.

By pillar I assume you mean the Pipe you destroy in the Destroy ending and if that is the case, then no it can most certainly not be matched up.

The rubble is without a shadow of doubt concrete, not metal as the Pipe is made from. And the Metal Spike in that rubble which was long thought to be Reaper wire is defietly not Reaper tech as was debunked in a Picture to Picture comparision earlier in this thread.

The gist of that saw that while Reaper Wires have a circular pattern spaced evenly down their length as well as beeing bendable, the metal spike on the other hand has a spiral pattern running up its length and seems quite solid from what we seen. That makes it more likely to be part of the metal you put in concrete to reinforce it.
