someone should condense all our ideas into and all of the evidence we have already found into a new thread otherwise people are going to keep raising the same counter-arguments that we have dis proven a hundred times

Can somebody who uses twitter try to find out if Thursday's press release was the big news they mentioned they'd be giving us in April, or if that is still to come?

Actually....no they weren't. Sorry, I just played through KoToR and the thing is....the hints are pretty obvious. There are two or three places where they actually pretty much TELL you. But you don't think of it because come on, that doesn't happen. Your brain discards it as an option even before you realize you considered it.

There's a book called "The Murder of Roger Akroid," by Agatha Christie. The killer is the narrator of the book. (Spoilers! This book came out in the fifties there's a statute of limitations on this stuff.) Anyway, the narrator...well. Without crazy details, you are given every piece of evidence you need in the first twenty pages. Literally A SENTENCE shirt of telling you the answer. And nobody gets it the first time. Because come on! He's the narrator! The narrator can't be the killer!

In KoToR, when they go over all the foreshadowing you missed, you feel like a tool. Because they TOLD YOU. That's how these things tend to work; it's not that the foreshadowing is hidden, it's that you discount the possibility. Your instincts are telling you something so unusual, you don't accept it.

If IT is true, they DO have that kind of thing in ME3. But it's easy to see if you're looking for it.  So we'll see in "Summer" if it's true or not.

The fact that they completely balked that question should tell you quite a lot. They neither confirmed nor denied it rather they just brushed it aside. We will just have to wait for summer time and see if the Indoc Theory holds weight.

No you won't. You can see right now that it holds absolutely zero weight. You just have to open your eyes and accept the game as told.

The only way you can entertain indoc is if you reject the game.

What?? No if you take the end without indoctrination it utterly falls flat. Nothing in the game contradicts this theory. It's the opposite really. Does it really make sense for everyone who's ever touched or been around Reaper tech to be indoctrinated EXCEPT Shepard? IT WOULD make sense if they had made a point to explain that Shepard is different, but they never do that.

I spent a good half of ME2 with a metalic Reaper artifact on my coffee table. Pretty sure that wasn't good for my Sheppy sanity.

@UrgedDuke:
Not only this, but also IT deserves a good wrapup and possibly a FAQ-section for people that are new to IT. I will try to start that when I'm back home next week, but it will possibly take a while

They give you hints but you think nothing of them until you find out the secret. Then it all seems obvious, the same could be said with ME

Yeah. But it's about what I expected really. I mean they're not going to confirm or deny a theory on an ending they've kept a surprise this long. I'd have liked a firm date, but....

Insane idea, and I am sure it is as stupid as it sounds but with "The Truth" back on the table, what if the crucible is a device designed to gather renforcements? The idea being it can use the mass relays to pull ships currently using those relays to it's location before burning out. The caveat? What if it brings those ships forward through time?

What if the Relays end up pulling a big honking Prothean armada forward, depriving them the ships they needed to stand a better chance, and instead bolstering ours? I'm sure I'm completely wrong but, hey Stargate did it a few times.. so did Start Trek. Who's to say time travel is out of the question?

Space and time are defined by each other, the mass relays lower mass (and presumably by extension, space) to near negligible levels, what if they can reverse space to a negative with the Crucible's help? Or maybe I'm just rambling, who knows?
I read your long post recently.
I like your endings and how you qued it up with the music.  I like that regardless of Color choice the IT could be worked in.  I almost shared a tear about Garrus and Liara getting capped by Nemisis Shepard.
Good job.
But time travel.......that would TAKE MUCH MORE WORK than what Bioware has seeded within the game.  Also time is relative to one's postion within space.  If identical twins were raised in seprate locations, a ship going Subluminal speeds and one on Earth the one on Earth would be far older once the other twin got back.
Thank ya, and actually, I didn't even cue the thing to music at all, it was written acapella. Entirely unintentional.n As for the time travel thing, Yeah, completely nuts, but hey, speculation from everyone.

I wish people would stop quoting this, I already have proven the point and stated it multiple times, in fact I myself am the one who looked it up the first time and made sure.

There is 14.6 gb of info on the discs, only 11 is actually installed. There is just as much info on PC discs as there is on the consoles. The fact is, even considering this, the theory it's all locked on disc is silly, since it is easy to STILL rip things off console discs if you're creative, and I personally beleive Bioware is playing for time to finish the ending (The Truth is out there)

Do I disbeleive IT? Not at all, do I think the idea that the actual end content is on the disc? Hell no.

I know wishful thinking but wouldn't it be great if next weeks MP DLC turns out to have something related to the endings or IT... I mean why call it the Resurgence Pack? Resurgence = rise again

I saw it was page 1337, so I absolutely had to post.

Nothing new happening with me, except I went downstairs to get some candy, and grabbed three random colored airheads.

Got upstairs, noticed it was one Blue Raspberry, one Green Apple, and one Cherry flavored one.

Even my candy is only offering me a choice between Red, Blue and Green. >.>

You shouldn't try discussing with atlasmickey.

He liked the endings, and dislikes Lord Of The Rings, so that should tell you a lot about who your'e dealing with here.

The problem with threads is that they can be replied to and then the dilution of people who don't read the OP starts all over again. You need a blog. A fixed page with all the arguments and counter-arguments and conclusions.

I don't care if BioWare go with IT or not, if I'm not happy with the extended cut, I'm adopting it as my own cannon. It makes too much sense. I didn't play 3 games, read and re-read 3 novels (you can guess which one I didn't read!), 3 comic book series and a few one-off comics, artbooks, I didn't buy merchandise (including hoodies, figurines, models, cup) and soundtracks, spending A LOT of hard-earned cash, just to be subjected to the mother of all cop-out insulting-to-the-fans endings.

So if I adopt IT as my ending, it's just for my own sanity because otherwise I'll have a "Falling Down" (Google the film, kids) moment.

Yeah, make a blog, the more people like it, the better - we can all pretend this whole scenario never happened.
