Whoa whoa guys, i just noticed something. On Chris Priestlies twitter someone asks if the 2 squad mates who charged the beam with you were killed and he responds

...if the ending was really the ending, how could that not be revealed? I mean they walked right off the normandy miraculously didn't they?

Nitpicking the GC's dialogue. Notice he says he created the Reapers to control the chaos and that he controls them. Yet he uses "us" and "we" a lot, especially with destroying the reapers and TIM. Despite the way he seems to differentiate himself from the reapers by sayin he made and controls them, he speaks as if he IS a reaper.
Also notice that GC in the beginning, despite saying he created the reapers to control the chaos and help species ascend, then says at the synthesis, "We need each other" to "make synthesis happen." The reapers need organic life to reproduce. To their logic, organics need them to control the chaos of evolution and reach "the pinnacle of evolution" IE themselves. I think the reapers are an organic race who ended up in a rebellious war with synthetics they made, decided the best solution was to merge with their creations to end the conflict and broker peace, creating Harbringer, the first reaper. They need other organic life to reproduce, and in becoming the first reaper, have a god complex that all life need to reach their form to prevent going through what they went through and that they are truly the best evolutionary thing. 1) As soon as Shepherd "wakes up" after being blasted by the Reaper laser, he's limping. If, as you're playing, you try to look/aim down at Shep's feet, you can't. The view angle get's blocked so that you can't see below his/her knees. If you watch the pace of the legs moving, though, it becomes really obvious that Shepherd is moving considerably faster than he is actually walking, almost floating as it were. At first when I noticed this in the my second play-though I just figured it was designed that way because making Shepherds speed the same as his walk would make the last moments in the game take 3 times longer (and it already seemed to take forever). But if we're rolling with the hallucination/indoctrination theory, then the fact that he's practically floating on his feet just adds more fuel to the fire...

I noticed that the conversation with TIM is almost exactly the same as your conversation with Saren on ME1. It may even be word for word, but I haven't gotten the chance to analyze it. Every option I had when speaking with Saren, I had with TIM. Even the fact that I didn't have enough paragon points in the first game for the final paragon option reappeared in the final dialogue choices just like ME1 and I wasn't able to choose the final paragon option. Others who were able to get the last option had TIM shoot himself, just like Saren! It's interesting and it might be further proof that it's all a figment of shepards imagination or it's just Shep conflicting with him/herself in the same fashion as Saren. I would love to know if my theory has any merit, as I do not have any time to check it out myself. Thanks for the thread, it's been mind blowing.

I was also under the impression that N7 with the little red detail under it was considered to be a commander shepard trademark as every customized set of armor has the N7 and red and white stripes somewhere on it (except the kestrel armor)
