He's just making it seem like the literal ending is a possibility.

Anyway, this idea has been mentioned before but I don't think it's been discussed really in here. I'm wondering if anyone wants to test this idea? I've elaborated on it below.
For the control ending, the citadel closes, relays are deactivated (but don't explicitly explode like int destroy ending) and joker doesn't turn around.
This doesn't happen in the destroy ending.
I suggest that in the control ending, you are indoctrinated and the citadel is closed just as the reapers wanted it. The relays are deactivated like in every cycle, but are not destroyed (i.e. are fixable). The scene with joker turning around takes place a while later, after picking Shepard up. Shepard is indoctrinated and absent in the control ending so Joker does not turn around.
However, the synthesis ending does not show this and seems the same as the destroy ending.
I'm not sure how to explain this. The synthesis ending must be good then, if my idea is true. But it doesn't fit in with what we already know :S
I'm slightly puzzled by this like, as it seems like a good idea, apart from the synthesis bit!
Here's my take, Synthesis turns every organic part synthetic right? Everything is now part reaper code. So why do they need to continue the cycle when everything in the galaxy is now exactly as they want it?
Control, yeah, the cycle continues and they're satisfied but in Synthesis everything has been done for them and there's no need to continue the cycle since all organic life as been "ascended" so to speak.
That sounds good. I can't remember exactly if we found out their reasons for definite in ME2, but I did always assume they wanted to upgrade people or something.

Yeah, but the "Official" statement from EA concerns me. It wasn't just someone from Bioware stating "stay tuned we are coming out with more content", this was a much more specific statement about what to expect from their parent company. If IT is true and we are getting more gameplay in the summer, any hope Bioware has in saying this was the plan all along is completely gone.

It shows that the races were using normal building materials to fix the wards, the Keepers just seemlesly incorperate it, make it look a bit more aesthetically pleasing, so there -could- be concrete and rebar, and consisdering how badly that councle area was damaged by Sovereign and Saren, would be logical to think it was the most heavily repaired.
This would close one plot hole and open up for the DLC to show the Normandy actually trying to rescue Shep from the Citadel. This is not debunking IT in the least, just something that's been itching at the back of my mind for a few days.

I'm still quiet sure it cant be on the citadel. For all the reasons we already know and because one other little detail I've noticed recently, during the 'breath scene' we clearly hear the wind. There is no wind indoor, it needs outdoor and planetary rotation.

assuming it is, the article talks about how they will add new variations to the ending but not choices, how the hell can they do that if all the ending depict the same thing so far, IE the mass relays being destroyed, seems like that dosent leave much room for variations.

The same news. Bioware employees made non definitive statements. Everyone is claiming they prove indesputibly whatever side they agree with, all the while waving their troll feeding shovels.
I am beginning to grow cynical. <_<

So she must know truth about ending, right? And she said that she believe in IT. Well, it may be only me but I wouldnt believe in something if I know that is not true.

jessiaca merizan: @Ryuasiu @patrickweekes that was not am interview and it was filled with half-truths and inaccuracies. I'm actually pretty angry about it..

Unsure if brought up in the past thousand pages, but this one has just noticed something strange about the Return to Citadel end mission. When you get closer to leaving the hallway full of dead bodies and dripping blood, the color starts to disappear. If you turn around, you can see the hallway before you darken and turn colorless before the doors open to the next hallway. Any thoughts on this?
Is that true or can anyone confirm this? This seems to me like another hint for the IT.

I feel like at this point she is just telling everyone what they want to hear. If the ending was supposed to be "It's up to you to decide!" like Lost was, then her not denying anything people ask would make sense. Although I don't agree with that kind of a half-***ed ending. The would also explain their adamancy that they don't want to "prescribe" anything about the ending, at least not till the DLC comes out which is again BS in my opinion...

The thing is a lot of people were actually comforted by Weekes' statement, and now "the community manager" is labeling what was said as innacurate. Is it just me or do things just keep getting more flipped on its head?

It really has been. And to say it's been ****ing me off is an understatement. People were comforted by Weekes because he gave straight answers, something we haven't gotten since March 6th... Only to have Bioware's 'powers that be' deny his statements and claim them as false.
If IT is false that is fine. Just tell us. If they were going for a "You interpret the ending!" route it doesn't matter any more since they are making at DLC that will "explain" everything(what ever that is going to mean) so then tell us that ideas the original intention. Just give us SOMETHING concrete. "summer" is too long in my opinion to wait for clarification to an ending it took me a week to get to.
