Well they need to write it, design it, code it, test it, do voice work (remember, the actors have other things going on too). These can't be thrown out in a few days. Plus, I hope they take their time and make it good. Waiting 3-4 months for just more garbage would be insulting.

When a developer gives you a time frame, they usually mean the last possible second of that frame, or even shortly after it. See: Valve Time

"Summer" ends in August/november.

So why are we even concerned with the Weekes (that's not spelled right is it?) when the "interview" was so poorly done. Its like FoxNews level of incompetence. Did the guy at least record the interview so an accurate transcrip could be had?

I am the only one who hasn't felt like playing videogames since the ending of ME3? I really can't bring myself to play anything, I didn't think I could be this depressed at the end of a game.

Instead I've spent the last week researching clues on the indoctrination theory and other explanations. If this was a ploy to get us to play MP, they're doing it wrong.

'these people' i've been trolling this thread since page 20 @ss, while you probably jumped on in the last hunddred or so pages. and yeah, when i flat out get told "cinematics only" that pretty much tells me that there will be only cinematics involved. idk what language you speak where things mean other than that but ok bro.

EDIT: to whomever said that it doesn't take 3-4 months to do cinematics is an idiot. do you think in the next 3-4 months the ending dlc is the only piece of dlc they are going to be coming out with? no, they have to do other stuff too (mp, omega dlc, etc). look trust me, i want IT to be true, i want to say that a company who i have admired and respected for over 10 years now didn't screw the pooch on this one, but basically until i see a brand, spanking new ending dlc with gameplay involved, i'm going to think they let us down. the sooner you guys think this the less devastated (or more pleasantly surprised) you'll be

Lets be fair; most of Fox's "incompetence" is actually attempts at political spin. Same with MSNBC and CNN. On all three major networks, those people who's job it is to actually report the news, not spin it, are doing a pretty good job. It's just that spin sells better, and takes up more and more airtime.

The interviewer didn't take accurate notes and put too much of his personal slant into the interview. That's FoxNews style reporting  Their audience is the most uninformed for a reason.  Can't sell anti-women, anti-gay, anti-rational thinking without dumbing down the audience.

But I'm almost done with IT.
I can't rationalize it if in fact the citadel does blow up, unless everything up to the citadel and crucible blowing up is IT and the rest is real world.

I just watched the prothean VI scene on Thessia again. The VI says "Though I believe the Reapers are only the servants of the pattern. They are not its master." So right there they put in a hint to the starchild. It´s certainly not disproving our theory, but something to think about.

ok man i'm done trying to get people to calm down. go ahead and y'all can kill yourselves when the ending dlc comes out and it's everything you don't want it to be, while i say "eh, at least it was free" and continue on with life knowing that this is still just a game and doesn't mean a damn thing in the grand scheme of things.

I kind of expected that going in, anyway. But as for the thing that is it's master being starchild? 

One of the big points in favor of I doc for me has always been (this has probably been said) that when describing control, he says "you can control US." I find it interesting because he HASN'T said control will affect anything besides Reapers. He only says that about destroy and synthesis. And he makes a point of specifically saying so for those options. So given the info he has given us, by control US...he must mean he IS a reaper.

Could just be bad writing, I dunno. Always struck me as interesting though.

Honestly im getting the feeling they are going to make it so all of the endings are right, blue you control the reapers for real, green you synthesize the whole and red you break out of indoctrination. There will be no "wrong" ending. Each extension will have its own cut scenes differences but the point will be, if you chose red then the whole thing was a dream/hallucination , if you choose the other two then it was all actually happening. Get what im saying? All endings would be canon. Now how they would implement that in the next game, i am at a loss. Does this make sense or am i crazy for interpreting what they are saying as such??


P.s. What this would do is create more "speculation" and people would be arguing and discussing which ending was the REAL true ending, but the point would be that none of them are true because ALL of them are true.

I've said it several times. They can easily make every endings a "Real ending" I.e. if you choose detroy it's an indoctrination attempt that you break and cinematics can show it. If you chose Green that means synthesis really did happen. and cinematics can explain it. if you chose blue you DO control the reapers and send them off to do whatever. Cinematics show it.

All of them become real endings for your play through. Choosing one would not invalidate the others. this would also go on to show how none would be "canon endings" since they are ALL canon endings.

I know how you feel.
I know video games are not real and aren't important, but they are something to enjoy. I put effort into a game and I expect to feel rewarded for my effort. I want to feel like I've made a dfference (even if I hadn't) because obviously in the real world I'm not a Commander of a spaceship and I can't fly around doing stuff.

I don't want to feel like everything I've done counts for nothing. I don't want to feel like I've wasted my life (as ironic as it may be, what with me playing a game).

There is no incentive for me to play multiplayer. Why would I? I've bought ME1, 2 and 3 for the ability to make choices. ME3 ending invalidates what I've done and multiplayer has almost no influence on anything.

And I don't like multiplayer anyway. I always seem to end up in games with some anrgy swearing child :S
