She really needs to stop posting comments.

Unfortunately, then fans will claim she's not answering their questions. She certainly needs to be more careful about what she tweets though.

It sounds like she's trying to say that the geth might still be alive if you picked Destroy, but she mangled the sentence, so it's hard to be sure.

So, because it confuses people Jessica isn't allowed to post her own opinions? Guys, I love y'all, but she's a manager for BW, not part of the writing team.

And yes, she's suggesting that the geth might survive in the destroy option.

I know absolutely nothing about these 2 companies. Bioware & EA. But from what I have gathered on this thread Bioware use to be a stand alone co. and then EA acquired them and became the parent co. Like I said, I don't know anything about them, but I though EA did sports games like Madden. I always see there commercials during football season. Is there any real world conflict between the two that could, at least partially, explain this crap ending?

It's the fact that she's a manager that she needs to choose her words carefully, she's representing the company - whether it's opinion or not, the majority of fans don't disassociate her from her work. I like her and she seems like a nice person but maybe she shouldn't make comments on the ending at this time in case it's misunderstood.

Not really the main reason everyone hates EA is because they have been known to purposely leave out game content on discs, so that players have to give them more money to finish the game or acquire key elements of the game.

She is contradicting herself now, shes not a writer, and she tweets from the perspective of a fan

Their main focus was sports but they do other genres as well now. Their other big titles include Need For Speed, The Sims and Command & Conquer.

I don't know if there was conflict but a lot of fans feel that EA made BioWare release the game in March, when it could have done with more work, to make their end of [fiscal] year takings look good for stockholders.

We've got to be careful here that we don't say anything that could get this thread locked.

@Geousprime yeah but Shepard doesn't die in destroy if you have a high EMS sooooooo clearly Guardian is wrong about some things

The thing is, even though she is a fan, it's obvious how she see's the ending. So if she hasn't lost faith in I.T. even though she's that close to the developers, neither should we.

I wish Jessica Merizan would stop tweeting <:(

It seems one day her tweets are bringing hope to us all...another day they're crushing the very hope she gave us.

Big publishers like EA and Microsoft have a history of buying up smaller studios that have good IP, giving them an unrealistic time frame to create a sequel (which never lives up to the early games), forcing them to incorporate bad ideas, and then leaving the studio in financial ruin after they sucked all the cash out of it.

Kind of like the Reapers.

Anyone else see the "update" on this thread? I don't know about you, but I'm taking this as an indication that IT is still a possibility. (I'm referring to the posts from Mike Gamble. They're on the first post.)

I wouldn't put MS in that category. They don't really buy companies as much as get exclusivity deals with developers to publish on their console. Epic (Gears of War) and Bungie (Halo) were good examples. They don't really seem to put unrealistic timeframes on studios either. Gears 3 was even delayed 6 months.

Question answered. This is the new business model EA is going for. Le sucks. :?

And anyone who plays Sims still gets an automatic sympathy hug from me, what they are doing to that series makes bunnies cry. Still. I like a lot of EA titles, and now they have Amalur too...
