then i just get the austrian version and hope that it is in english and german and the dlc still works with it.

I should say, even if IT gets completely nullified in the DLC, you guys should be proud. You managed to create an explanation that is more intriguing and thought provoking than the current "official" one, whatever it might be.

Does your xbox have a hard drive? If it does, try copying the game to the hard drive. The copying process trys harder to read through errors. I had this problem with an old copy of Gears of War that had a crack clean through it.

Even if it wasn't a serious suggestion it may make sense. Keepers created reapers. Reapers rebellled. Reapers assimilated keepers. Reapers felt bad (?) and set up a thing to stop synthetics wiping out all organic life by assimilating and storing dominant species?

I believe in me2 somewhere that we find out that the Keepers were bioformed like the Collectors...not 100% sure about that though.

ya i always install the games. it's working ok so far, no disc-explosion yet.

Definitely! and the guys and gals who first thought of this whole idea deserve all the praise we give em.

However, if it does turn out to be false, there are so many things in the game/s (leading up to the ending) that just don't. make. sense. anymore.

After once aagain inflicting the horrors of the ending upon myself, something occured to me. i once again chose destroy (the options are just so insultingly stupid..at least to me they are) and i wondered. why exactly do i have to shoot that guddam tube? Since when do you destroy something to activate it?

"uh, yeah..tech support? Hi, i've got issues with your current crucible model c-1m1"

"could you specify?"

"it doesn't do anything. and since this is kind of urgent with the reapers invading earth and all, i was hoping you could help"

"have you tried to shoot the red tube yet?"
