Maybe it is because of all the tinkering I have done with my game saves,
but has anyone else noticed that the ghostly dark shrubs are present in the run to
the beam before you get hit by Harbinger's laser, and
would this change anything?  I actually loaded my game again to see if
this was a glitch or not.  I just may be behind the cruve and this is
already known.

They are there, increase in quantity after beam. One of weaker pieces of the theory :)

What I find interesting is that after being hit by the beam, you're suddenly next to them.
It's as if they got up and walked over to you.

(but lol, I still don't understand how a laser blast pulls you forward)

I haven't played as a renegade, but I saw a few scenes. Does Shepard seem unusually ruthless? Like, does s/he just kill people or so things for the sake of it, even though it hinders the wat effort?
Like that part with Samara and her daughter. If you let Samara die, you can kill her daughter. You give an explanation why, but it still seems a bit odd...

I know this isn't really "evidence" per se, and maybe I'm the only one who thinks this but. . .the scene on the citadel with Anderson and TIM just seems to work far better as symbolism than it does as reality. Even taking TIM's attempt to control Shepard into consideration, it just feels. . .off. Not sure I can really describe why, though.

Yes, renegade Shepard has always been an **** of truly epic proportions, and he has always murdered defenseless people with poor justification.  Like Shaila (sp?), the asari that the thorian was holding captive.  Or Rana Thanopsis, the scientists at Virmire who... well, okay, that turned out bad and painting the walls with her brains would have made things turn out better but there's no way he could've known.

A bit off topic, but that was one major improvement Dragon Age made to Mass Effect's dialogue wheel.  You have to play evil monster Shepard to get the funnies whereas Hawke would dish out the funnies from a neutral leaning toward good perspective.  Although I suppose it doesn't matter much in ME3 as it doesn't have anywhere near the comedy that 1 & 2 had.

I'm 99% certain that those were the original ones too, as they're what the CE guide lists as the ending choices.

You know, that dev talk that was posted.

I find it quite odd that BioWare said they didn't want to spoil anything and let the DLC speak for itself yet they're freely giving this information before the DLC comes out.

Odd.

Hmm. You guys know the conspicuous warning stickers that are always near the kid on Earth? That one by the vent in particular. Depicts a lightning bolt hitting someone in the head. Has anyone seen that same sticker anywhere else? I've been keeping an eye out in my current playthrough and I haven't seen it anywhere else. Considering that it shows an image that one could conceive of being used as an indoctrination hint, and that that image makes no sense at all in the place it was put, if that was the only place it was used... well. That would be a pretty damn big point for us I think.

I've been keeping an eye out for that sticker to, only place it seems to appear is at the first vent.

Great minds think alike.  ...  And so do whatever kind we have.  :)  Seriously though, that's good to hear.  I was worried I was grasping at straws and was missing obvious placements or just had forgotten what it really looked like.

All the endings will be "real endings" IT will probably be the red one with blue and green being "real" in their own way. That way there is no "canon" ending.

But that's just my perspective

Who the hell is using Weekes to attack other devs. Cause that's downright scummy. Patrick took time out to answer questions and people are using that to attack others? Ugh.

My only argument with that is they said they want to make more games. so if there are three seporate outcomes they couldn't be set after the events of me3.  Well then again as the endings stand they can't do that either so...yeah.

Every one wants something different, it's kinda like how the PAX footage had conveniently edited out the part where the crowd cheered when they mentioned I.T.. And  left the part where people laughed at the word "commited"

Explained well enough I'm sure they could, and enough time passes I'm sure they could. And specifically dealing with green since that's the one that would stand out most, it's not like creatures look very different than they do now. At least not that I noticed. Animate things the same and just not draw circuitry on them.
And for all we know the green beam could alter memories to make everyone think that they had always been synthetic organic abominations.

Any reference to the original series would be something akin to The reapers were stopped, how they were stopped was lost to time, all that is known is that they no longer pose a threat to galactic civilization.
As time passed the threat of the reapers went from imminent, to story, to legend.

However, as the reaper threat passed into fading memory a new threat has risen...

Okay. So this got kinda buried but...if reapers are like geth, and exist as digital entities, breaking free of indoctrination could really HURT them. An event for them doesn't have to be physical to be "real." And there's your IT affecting the real world. Harbinger just got shot in the mind.

Also, a thought: if I, personally, was actually given those three options? Pick control. Make reapers kill each other. Geth saved, galaxy saved, woot.

I believe it's in reference to that post on Penny Arcade's forums.  Made headlines like "Mass Effect 3 Writer Slams Ending" as it claimed the lead writer and Casey Hudson wrote the ending all by themselves and refused to take input.  It was posted from Weekes' own account so people thought it was real.  I don't know if he got hacked or what, but anyone close to the incident seems adamant that he didn't do it.  Anyway, it happened a while before PAX.  And yes, it's scummy as hell.

Well some paragon choices hinder the war effort as well- saving the council in ME1 reduced the strength of the alliance fleets.  Saving Grunt instead of the Rachni (depending on which queen you have) means you miss out on a potential ally.  Saving the Krogan means most of the Salarians don't join up.

I think one of the things they were going for in 3 was that not everything is black and white.  Though I agree some of the actions seem pretty ruthless- but remember ME 1, there were several options to 'shoot him' in that game Posted Image

Is he referring to the unofficial Q & A that are posted on the boards or something else entirely?

That's how Sovereign fell.  We killed Saren when he was still under Sovereign's control.  It's in the ME3 codex anyways.

If Synthesis was real, I would have chosen that... I always thought Saren was right in his flawed reasoning... and while my reasoning would still be flawed, if I knew Synthesis would work, I would chose that... if not... Control, gotta keep the Geth and Galaxy alive!

Also, I have a very high interest in replaying ME3 to see if the IT is really true, I got the feeling that he was actually dreaming/dead when he got hit by the laser but it became to religious thinking that the Catalyst was god ... but anyway IT is the only way to get the ending to make sense...

My logic with destroy, was that A. I'm sticking to my guns and I'm not forcing a destiny on the Geth that they had no input on. B. They can be rebuilt, Reapers, should they come back won't make the same mistakes again. Destroy is the only assured way to remove them from the equation forever. C. I don't trust kids any farther than I can punt them. And seeing as this space cancer is a hologram, I'm not kicking him very far.
