Reckon this is just to throw us off? I've seen people in here talk about Bioware possibly trying to avoid "being beaten to the punch" in showing us their final indoctrination reveal, or at least downplay it so we dismiss it enough until then, for it to have more of an impact.

She does say "presumed" after all, and again, this codec entry is way obscure and even if enough people have heard about it, will wright it off as mental instability or indoctrination anyway.

Thanks!  I'll admit, I'm looking forward to Resurgence.  Anyone know if the weapons in the Pack will carry into single player?  I want some extra gear.

I recall reading somewhere that they would be MP only, but I am not positive about that.

I would not like it AS much if it was MP only.  What happened to SP weapon packs like they had in ME2?  That is the main draw of ME.  Don't get me wrong, I like the multiplayer, but I want more for SP.

Somhow I get the impression BW is playing with us or trying to make fools out of us... Why the hell do they pick such an entry.. a lot of people even did not read take as major point in the endings ? I really only can shake my head.. and if sombody again of them starts to talk about that "artistic integrity" I'll vomit right into their face...

It is really sad that there is no BW-Person that admits they made real sh... with the endings (even when it is IT, they still faild to deliver the message.. cause if not there were not that outrage). Allways this "I totaly stand behind our team".. it's ok to stand with the team really, but a good team would also admit if they made somthing wrong.. and I don't think there were so much people dissapointed if there was all fine...

And now they make fun of us throwing hints on us that are so fishy.. and make even more people angry...probably somone needs to learn that if you trait your fans like that.. there will no one be left who buys the stuff BW/EA are producing...

I'm normaly a really calm person and I have a lot of faith in the good of people.. but somhow I'm starting to get really pissed cause of some comments of BW personal...

I'd say it's actually another point in the IT column.  Remember that that volus was Sovereign's tool before Saren.  So he's almost certainly indoctrinated.  And he saw the same "being of light" spouting nonsense very similar to what starkid told Shepard.  Shepard is told Reapers are there as the good guys to prevent organics from making omni-AI's that would wipe out ALL organic life FOREVER, the volus is told about "beings of light" that protect organics from "machine devils."  This is really stretching it, but he also mentions the beings of lights' "crypts" and since Reapers are full of dead organic toothpaste... well...  implications unpleasant.

Edit:  Actually, went to fact check.  I recall reading that Kumun Shol was Sovereign's tool pre-Saren but it was supposedly mentioned in the books.  Which I haven't read.  Turns out it's still up in the air.  Kumun Shol isn't mentioned by name but rather simply a volus.  Still, the pieces all fit perfectly if it was in fact Kumun Shol.

Seems, I jumped in just about the right time ... because what the two of you just stated perfectly matches the thoughts I had the last days. Bioware makes the impression that they actually have no understanding at all on their fanbase. Which is very odd, given that they were able to make great games in the past.

Is there more news from the last two (and a half) days? (spent Easter with my parents and didn't really have the time to read through the forums and this thread).

Reckon this is just to throw us off? I've seen people in here talk about Bioware possibly trying to avoid "being beaten to the punch" in showing us their final indoctrination reveal, or at least downplay it so we dismiss it enough until then, for it to have more of an impact.

I'd say it's actually another point in the IT column.  Remember that that volus was Sovereign's tool before Saren.  So he's almost certainly indoctrinated.  And he saw the same "being of light" spouting nonsense very similar to what starkid told Shepard.  Shepard is told Reapers are there as the good guys to prevent organics from making omni-AI's that would wipe out ALL organic life FOREVER, the volus is told about "beings of light" that protect organics from "machine devils."  This is really stretching it, but he also mentions the beings of lights' "crypts" and since Reapers are full of dead organic toothpaste... well...  implications unpleasant.

Edit:  Actually, went to fact check.  I recall reading that Kumun Shol was Sovereign's tool pre-Saren but it was supposedly mentioned in the books.  Which I haven't read.  Turns out it's still up in the air.  Kumun Shol isn't mentioned by name but rather simply a volus.  Still, the pieces all fit perfectly if it was in fact Kumun Shol.

Have you found any article or post which actually deal with a volus working for Sovereign? I've found things about Sovereign discovery but it refers to a human and a batarian, cant find anything about a volus.
