Well, at least your being polite about it.  Speaking of Insanity runs, I'm curently on one with an Infiltrator.  It's a new game plus, and it is really fun.

Oh, I've had my less than polite moments in related threads, but, again, I know they'll do more damage than harm in this particular one, and I don't want that.

In ME3, that is my class as well. I'm currently starting back in ME1, though, as I have never done hardcore or insanity before. I'm thinking of trying Adept in 1, Solider (or Infiltrator with the Widow in NG+) in 2, and then my Infiltrator in 3.

Even though I always play ultimate Paragon, I may attempt one of the "worst possible playthrough" runs of 2 just for kicks. If I know I'm doing it for a laugh, then hopefully my conscience won't kick in over killing everyone on purpose :P

A fellow Paragon, good to see.  Good luck with your worst possible run.  Honestly, though, if you want that, just play ME3 with a standard new game and select the numerous losses selection.  I figure that would probably do the trick.

Also, good luck on Insanity in ME1.  Some of the mercs with immunity are crazy durable.

I'm in favor of godchild.

I also saw someone call him Task Manager, because he lets you CTRL the Reapers, ALTer all life in the galaxy, or DELete all synthetics. I like that name too.

I personally prefer Star-Brat.

Wow......a BW post is like red meat for the starving. Well played :-)

Mr. Schumacher: not sure if you're aware, but in order to post on this thread, you're required to author a five paragraph essay on the legitimacy of IT. We've all gone through this little hazing ritual, and I look forward to yours.

Of course, in lieu of that, I'm just happy to know someone from BW considers IT worthy of a post....thanks for taking the time.

EDIT: Oh, and it's "SpaceBieber."

I might switch from Adept to something else in ME1, though, but of course that'd mean doing a Casual run for armor, then a Hardcore run, then Insanity ( I purged most of my saves because I had so many and wanted to organize them better, lol).

Well, I actually like ME2, and it'll help pass the time. From what I understand, you have to actually plan some things out to make sure everyone gets killed; it isn't just a matter of "avoid everything", but it's been some time since I've looked at the thread that gives a how-to to leave only Morinth and Kasumi alive for an import (I think someone managed just Joker, actually...not sure). Again, the goal isn't to kill Shep; it's to provide the worst possible import for 3, and since I'm still technically waiting on the "actual" ending...why not? :D

And, yes, contrary to whatever image I might have, I always play Paragon because it's more...me (I also play femshep, but that's due to Hale's voice acting). Renegade is way, way too over the top for me; I always start Renegade playthroughs, but I rarely get very far without resetting :P

So words of advice doing
insanity runs are

1) do it on a new game +, especially in ME2 since
even the lower level enemies have shield and/or armor
2) Since you are like me and play the ultimate
paragon, I recommend going more renegade (the worst possible play through of
me2 sounds perfect )

and idk about others but i like it when you comment (now not so much when the troll wars happened) cause i do think you are being rational about your stance

edit: femshep for the win

I'm not saying ME2 was bad.  Heck, it's still my favourite game in the series thanks to the ME3 ending.  I'm just saying that if you can't manage to do it without your conscience getting in the way, there is always another option.

 GBGriffin:

Always primarily paragon as well, but that is because I can't bring myself to be anything but that. No matter the game if there is a choice between good/evil (I know that is not quite how para/Rene works) I always pick the good path and any attempt to go evil ends with me deleting the save a few hours later unable to continue because I feel guilty about Beeing a d...

Any opinions on the IT theory Allan?

I've enjoyed reading up on it haha.  It's interesting seeing some of the things that get pointed out, and on more than a few occasions the ACAVYOS video really made me go "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm."  It's also interesting to look at some of the conclusions IT fans have drawn, and to see if I have any thoughts about them not just from a lore standpoint, but also a technical standpoint.  While I may not work on ME, I do understand how the development process works enough to hypothesize why some things may be the way they are.

I have no idea what is going into the ending DLC, so it has me intrigued for what it is we'll be releasing exactly.  I'm looking forward to it haha.
