Thank you SO MUCH for that well thought out and intellectually stimulating comment. It has TOTALLY made me rethink my position on IT. Because you presented SO MUCH evidence against IT.

Any opinions on the IT theory Allan?
I've enjoyed reading up on it haha. It's interesting seeing some of the things that get pointed out, and on more than a few occasions the ACAVYOS video really made me go "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm." It's also interesting to look at some of the conclusions IT fans have drawn, and to see if I have any thoughts about them not just from a lore standpoint, but also a technical standpoint. While I may not work on ME, I do understand how the development process works enough to hypothesize why some things may be the way they are.
I have no idea what is going into the ending DLC, so it has me intrigued for what it is we'll be releasing exactly. I'm looking forward to it haha.

So words of advice doing
insanity runs are
1) do it on a new game +, especially in ME2 since
even the lower level enemies have shield and/or armor
2) Since you are like me and play the ultimate
paragon, I recommend going more renegade (the worst possible play through of
me2 sounds perfect [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/lol.png[/smilie])
and idk about others but i like it when you comment (now not so much when the troll wars happened) cause i do think you are being rational about your stance
edit: femshep for the win
Thanks for this and for your compliment! I'll admit I'm not always civil or polite, but again, I'd like to think it's mostly reactionary. I love having civil discussions with people who, even if they disagree, show me courtesy and respect in return.
That being said, I'm a bit nervous about insanity, but, again, I figure it'll certainly be a good way to kill time...even if it is just dying over and over

Morality in games is interesting, especially in ME1 or 2 where you really need to pick an alignment and stick with it with no switching or gray area responses if you want the full benefit. Again, Renegade often tends to be a bit...much for me. I think that if I convince myself that the worst ME2 playthrough is more of a joke and not my official canon (lol), I'll be able to do it
*edit* Might even play Sheploo to take it even less seriously, since I play femshep and think of maleshep as a jerk

Nah Cell was the worst if you ask me. But really the villains were never DBZs strength, except maybe Vejita (who didn't stay a villain)

I'm in favor of godchild.
I also saw someone call him Task Manager, because he lets you CTRL the Reapers, ALTer all life in the galaxy, or DELete all synthetics. I like that name too.
Has 'goddler' been mentioned?

Don't want to get off topic again but when it comes to morality system in a game i don't like how Mass Effect and many other games do it. These are not moral choices, these are "leveling a bar" decisions and you will never choose what you think is right in taht situation, because you've made your choice at the beginning.
Me, at least, would like choices that don't affect a level, but something you can't see at first. Think you just did the right thing? Later you find out you ****ed up even more because your were tricked or something. Grey is way more realistic than black or white. Pragon will sometimes just punch a douchy admiral for being a douche. Even strong willed Shepard.

Heh, I'm trying to go to bed, and hopefully I won't be summoned until tomorrow, but what would an apperance be if I didn't trol...argue a little?
To me, this is just presentation and/or design that simply overlaps and is fairly common, at least in other visual storytelling mediums, or, as you mortals call know them, films (I'm not sure why I called films "
visual storytelling mediums" because it sounds really pretentious, but it amuses me, so I'm going with it
Again, it could mean everything or, conversely, mean nothing beyond a method for transition they simply used twice. It's okay if it doesn't mean anything special; nothing other than the IT demands that it mean anything at all beyond a simple fade-to-white scene transition (I don't think it's right to compare ME to a film, but again, films use this for dream sequences and simple transitions)
Wanting something to mean something beyond face value doesn't necessarily mean that it does, or even has to.
That being said, respond if you like, or don't if you'd like me to stay away

Still off topic.
Not that I'm describing the legitamacy of an anime, but at least Cell kinda made sense, and it made Gohan seem like the chosen one. Buu was cool because that kind of unexplainable magic was the only thing the Z fighters haven't faced yet. Plus Veggito as a peice of candy was kinda funny.

A lot of evidence to support indoctrination theory also supports rushed ending theory.
There is a few unique pieces, such as the technical giveaways that lean towards rushed, but there is a few unique tid bits that lean towards indoctrination.

That's why i sad many other games. Witcher is so good, it's not even funny. Loved the brutal combat difficulty too, something you really had to learn and you were fighting for your life every time.
SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER
And one major decision had to be made under time pressure. THAT was even better.
So good.

1. I find it funny that as soon as I mention how cool I think Alan is he posts in this thread. Thus, I come to the conclusion that I am able to summon Bioware employees at will.
2. The name of the star kid that I have begun to affectionately call him is "space cancer" it infects your game and kills it, unless you have a healthy dose of IDT chemo
