Naa I don't think you guys are that whacky lol. Ok maybe some of you but definetly not all. ;)

LOL, whenever some one says something about oddities during the ending, I put my hand up like this and just say "indoctrination"

I tend to quickly grab them from the shoulders, look at them straight in the eye, and say "ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL" in my best harby voice.

I missed talking to Conrad in ME3 :|

Not to go spoiling anything for anyone, but I was completing a sidequest that must have been associated with him. He then appeared briefly then vanished, and I never saw him again.

I didn't see him on my first playthrough, but I just met up with Conrad, on the citadeland I literally fell out of my chair laughing during his scene....

Damn it! For me Conrad died in ME2 ( hit by a car chasing a criminal, poor bastard.) now I have to go through ME2 again so I can get Conrad in ME3. LOL, that guy is awesome.

But his end in me3 is so very.... touching (don't want to spoil it)

he survived in my game.... hell he turns out to be a smart idiot...

oh and anyone else having problems with this patch?
Im getting stuck at the future alien planet part -_- cant import my game to a NG+

I didn't say he died (or did I?) I said "his end".

I'm like bioware here, speaking in riddles..... getting people "to talk about it"

From what i'm reading here, some people might have missed another side quest in the past that ties in with the Conrad Verner one. So good.

Don't leave me hangin' man. What side quest?

Happened to me as well.

When you get the quest to scan the medi-gel dispensers, Conrad is standing near the entrance, and you can have an awesome chat with him.
You can only talk to him during this quest, he shows up on the map iirc, but since there's no real prompt telling you he's even there, besides the "some idiot preaching about Cerberus" comment, it's retardedly easy to miss.

No it was someone else, the only person who was able to break free or something? Maybe I'm just confused.

But wasn't that a different form of indoctrination? It was explained at some point, i think someone even posted it here.

I believe it was explained or implied that she wasn't completely indoctrinated. How? Why? No idea. Maybe the thorian control negated the reaper's influence?

It was one of the questions that we skipped over because it didn't shatter the narrative cohesion of the game. Unlike ME3's ending.

The thorian control likely disrupted the indoctrination somehow. I think it was mentioned ingame?
It makes sense, sort of. If you factor in the rachni thing it seems that having a hive-mind makes people more resistant to indoctrination.

Strange that it didn't work with the geth.... but the geth aren't hivemind though, are they? Actually.... I think I remember Tali saying they weren't, they just shared information.

I believe the doctor mutters it as you get the quest, I didn't think much of it either.

Ah right, she got proper fooked from the Thorian though, as we see in ME2, and the e-mail from her in ME3 suggests the colonists are experiencing a "hive mind" kind of deal, actually drowning out the Reapers control.

Also no Shiala romance in ME3 WTF >:(

Indoctrination was explicitly explained to work only on organic minds. The geth heretics were 'indoctrinated' by simply hacking them.
