So why can't Bioware come out and say the indoc theory is true?

No matter if you choice A,B, or C ending the "ending DLC" can take that into account, and within the "ending DLC" you can have your Shep believing that help the reapers is true, or have the final battle (that Bioware promised).

Shep can absolutely be on the Citadel with IT. He could wander through the beam while hallucinating, no problems with that at all.

It seems like there wouldn't be much concrete on the Citadel, I'll give ya that. But who the hell knows... My main point, is there are a ton of places BW can go to design their own unique ending while still keeping the main idea of IT intact.

I think people get sidetracked by one persons "vision" of the perfect theory. There's a ton of places they can go with it, but the main point that Shepard's was hallucinating at the end most likely from indoctrination attempts is what's important.

If BW wants to make it be the Citadel then the concrete can come from the some rubble that fell through the beam, or some other similar excuse. They can do a lot, but the main idea is was there halluciations caused by indoctrinations leaving everything after the beam subject to question, or was Shep fully alert and really encountered an AI that took the form of a star child that all evidence points to never existing.

There is no confirmation that Shepard is waking from a dream or waking up after the citadel crashes into earth or he's waking up from an explosion on the citadel. 

There is no confirmation that they will even confirm this. 

There is no confirmation that we're not all indoctrinated.

I have been a long time lurker to this thread but have not posted often (or at all I don't recall), mainly because I read on my phone.

However several people have asked if someone could put together a comprehensive list of all the clues that have been brought to light so far.

I have taken it upon myself to undertake that task. My plan is for it to be an extremely thorough reference source for all elements of both the Indoctrination Theory and it's criticisms. Along with all the clues and related information from comments made by Bioware. It will source all it's information and include many images and links to related materials.

It probably will not be finished today but it is already well underway.

Just wanted to give people a heads up and something to look forward to. I should have the first version complete tomorrow and intend to keep it up to date and revised as need be.

Just checking...you do know that if you got him in 2, he's running around down there and you have to catch him right? Or do you mean after you caught him? I'm pretty sure he makes squeaky noises when he's running around down there....

Be sure to let us know if you find it and at what time! That would destroy any argument it's the Citadel, I think I kow what they mean but I'm not convinced it's anything that can be conclusivly identified.

I had wanted to do this myself, but I just don't seem to ever have the time. If everyone could just -see it all in one place-, it would be much easier for the naysayers to understand it.

Im a big supporter of the IT theory. Maybe Merizans just speculating herself.

She's just speculating, BOL theory doesn't hold very much water.

The beings of light description from whatever planet they're on says they are meant to protect organics from machine devils.

The catalyst controls the machine devils and sends them to kill us.

I never understood why people put so much stock in the beings of light thing.

If we based all of IT on a single planet description, and had no other supporting stuff at all, absolutely everyone would laugh at us, but no one laughs at the BOL people

I reiterate what I said before, The "Beings of Light" that appear, are, in my opinion, the Reapers playing good cop.

It's the same reason they "sue for peace", to manipulate people, make them think there's hope when there is none.

Besides, a glowing god-like being formed of pure light? I think that fits the definition of something that would inspire "superstitious awe" pretty well.


As for Merizan's post about Shep being on the citadel, if we take what she says as sacrosanct, then the person asking the question phrased it poorly, and Jessica meant that Shepard either won't realize they never got on the citadel, that the citadel is orbiting earth in peices right now, or perhaps, my theory, given the info from the Data Pad app, more than likely, Shep is on the Citadel being cared for at Huerta Memorial.

If we're saying that she is just speculating as a fan (which would invalidate some of her tweets that SUPPORT IT) then well, she's just looking at it wrong. Either way.
