Old but still good points. Also, why does TIMs body always appear on the far side of the room? He's standing next to Anderson for the whole sequence, after you shoot him or he shoots himself, he always lands on the side opposite from Anderson.

Because BW is lazy.  That is the anti-IT answer for everything.  Why did Shepard get TIM eyes in control/synth?  Because BW is lazy.  Why doesn't anyone else ever seem to see the kid?  Because BW is lazy.  What's that alarming odor coming from the stove?  Because BW is lazy.

bioware was SOOOO lazy they put extra work into changing the tones of the music depending on the ending you choose? (read is somewhere...)

if you start walking toward control the music is sinister
destroy; the music is uplifting and hopeful.

barely noticable, but its there.

lazy, lazy bioware.

And you know, since "things that ended badly" is the theme right now, I just wanted to say that at least we got IDT . . . or whatever sensible ending BioWare may come up with. While ME3's ending traumatized me for several days, it could've been much worse. When I saw Han Solo, Darth Vader, and the Emperor club dancing, part of my soul actually died.

Just saying.

Mine did to, and this is one of the many reasons an IP should end gracefully.

Oh god, I'm old. "IP?"

Intellectual property, prehaps?

Thanks. And you too, Tirian Thorn. I'm going to go waddle over to my rocking chair and have a nap. -_-

Yea I was going with IP = Intellectual property

Why does Shepard live in the Destroy ending? Because Bioware is lazy. What was the point of the arrival? Because Bioware is lazy. Why does Shepard look so evil as he is embracing the kid in his dreams? Because Bioware is lazy. Why throw in the "strange buzzing" dialogue? Because Bioware is lazy. Why does TIM "need you to believe"? Because Bioware is lazy.

You know, I think I finally cracked the code of the ending guyz.

Indeed. And how was it that it was explained in Black Swan?

Hallucination!

Black Swan was some weird sh*t. Some of the creepiest stuff I've ever seen, and it wasn't even really a horror movie. I was in the cinema and constantly thought "hey.. what the.. uhm.. dafuq..."

Yes it was.  Aronofsky can do some directing.  When her mind goes ape-s#@#, I got pretty creeped out.

Anyway, moving on, yeah exactly.  That's why I keep holding onto that scene because they deliberately added a scene that showed Shepard shot in the same spot as Anderson and then when he meets star-child he's all better (well...not perfect, but he's not suffering from blood loss).

Another show that ending, badly with so many questions (and the "movie" was lame) was Twin Peaks. I love the show, but man how it ending just got to me.

This is a good one for "I'd rather it had just ended without a goddamn word!" endings: http://www.cracked.c...tv-history.html

It starts off with ALF, the "loveable" alien.  I hated that bastard but even he didn't deserve to get captured by the government and used for torturous experiments.
Then we move onto Dinosaurs.  Remember that stupid Family Matters ripoff where all the characters were dinosaurs?  Yeah.  If you were like the rest of humanity and never saw more than 5 minutes, you probably don't know that the series ended with dad accidentally causing the ****ing Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event!  This was a COMEDY!  OMG!  Seinfeld ended on a mindblowingly retarded note, but at least Kramer didn't accidentally wipe out humanity!

I... I can't even continue.  There are some seriously messed up TV writers out there.  Seriously messed up.

As I'm doing something related to my classes at my college, I'll read the link you gave me. Really ALF was captured?

Unfortunately 'bad writing' because even if our highly anticipated dreams come true and IDT was in fact planned or is used, people will still fall back on it's bad writing to not have an ending.

Plus, IDT is just a theory and speculation.  We already have proof of an ending with bad writing.

I enjoyed Black Swan, to me it was surpressing one's darkness. If you surpress it for so long it will come out, and the reverse is the same. Now I need to watch that movie again as I like Miss Portman in it.

I'm just been looking over the Shepard breath scene. That car/conduit/metal thing is curved oddly. It's not a shuttle, but it doesn't look like anything from the Citadel :S

Is the comic in your link your own creation? If so, it is the funnist thing I read in a while.

Also the breath scene, (from IGN, I know ...ign..) but can you see it now matter the ending on your second playthrough (if you have enough of EMS)?

I just don't get what BioWare was trying to do with that scene (IDT...obviously...but other than this...).  I mean, you shoot the Citadel, it BLOWS UP AROUND YOU, it's very clear that the explosion happens like a foot in front of you.

If IDT is false and everything happens as is, I just don't get how you survive the explosion (then of course re-entry to Earth or surviving in space on a blown up Citadel).

BW is lazy...lol...(see above if you don't get what I'm saying).

Why does the colour drain from the picture if you turn around before the automatic door in the Citadel corridor with all the corpses? Because BioWare is lazy.

Why are there "oily black shadows" dripping down the walls in the aforementioned Citadel corridor? Because BioWare is lazy.

Why does the Crucible scene look so remarkably similar to the area at the bottom of the Citadel beam - even down to the appearance of a four-wheeled "something" on the Crucible where there is a destroyed four-wheeled vehicle at the bottom of the beam? Because BioWare is lazy.

Why does Shepard hold the exact spot where he just shot Anderson - and why is there a close-up of his hand, covered in fresh blood from this wound that he didn't have before? Because BioWare is lazy.

I could go on, but I won't. Why? Because BioWare is lazy.

Give me a minute, it was posted on this thread a while ago. I'll see if I can dig it out. It was picked up by a poster who has a hanar for his avatar pic. It's pretty noticeable though, if you can stand to you should do the mission again and you'll find it.

I tested that out last night, You walk up to the first door, turn around and everything goes *almost* completely black and white. If you turn around the color comes back, its not where you stand that makes this effect happen, it's only your perspective, when you turn around and look, you see the color wash out. This only happens if you look backwards, the color doesn't change under any other circumstances.

Cause bioware is lazy:P

Yep. I remember seeing it as a kid and going "WTF?!" Well, if my parents weren't around. :?

A ship was coming from his homeworld to bring him back. They're out in the woods and the UFO is at low altitude overhead, looks like it's going to land. Then a bunch of government trucks pull in from all angles, sirens blaring, and have the family and ALF at gunpoint. The UFO then abandons its rescue mission and takes off. Because apparently traveling light years is one thing but they don't have the technology to rescue one of their own from some douchebag aliens armed with revolvers. And so the series ended as it has always been: Retarded.

That's funny, before ME3 came out I was thinking how much TIM reminds me of Lex Luthor. Xenophobic rich genius that always has speeches ready about how he's doing what he's doing for the good of humanity despite it clearly not being good for humanity. To really stretch it, TIM kind of saved the world galaxy by saving Shepard. In one of the 9 billion alternate realities for Supes, one of them had Supes landing in Soviet Russia instead of Kansas. He grew up with Stalin's morals instead of ma and pa Kent's good ones. He was legitimately a villain and Luthor ended up being a "Great American Hero"™ by killing him with kryptonite.
