If you can't find it, I could spend a few minutes and make that video again myself.

If you could, that'd be great. It'd probably be a whole lot quicker than me trawling through my history/every page in this thread - it was part of a larger video, so I can't just search YouTube for the keywords. Thanks...

Hi. I can't post in the forums, but I still try to read everything. Including twitter and Indoc. T. theme. But I haven't seen that anybody said one thing - according to Jessica Merizan, EDI and geth don't die in destruction ending. Also this is the only ending, where Shepard lives and Reapers are destroyed. So... Doesn't it mean, that other endings are.. unnessecary? It is too obvious to see, and I don't think that Bioware could do something like that. Sorry for possible mistakes. Will be happy if you post this in Indoc. T. thread.

That is awesome. And the holes inthe floor.... Didn't even notice that. And I've played through three times. Working on a fourth. I'll have to pay closer attention.

That's funny, before ME3 came out I was thinking how much TIM reminds me of Lex Luthor. Xenophobic rich genius that always has speeches ready about how he's doing what he's doing for the good of humanity despite it clearly not being good for humanity. To really stretch it, TIM kind of saved theworldgalaxy by saving Shepard. In one of the 9 billion alternate realities for Supes, one of them had Supes landing in Soviet Russia instead of Kansas. He grew up with Stalin's morals instead of ma and pa Kent's good ones. He was legitimately a villain and Luthor ended up being a "Great American Hero" by killing him with kryptonite.
He grew up believing in Communism/Socialism at its very best. And he did create a Soviet paradise. Superman and Brianc ran the entire country.
Every person had a job.
Every one had a hobby
Everyone got the full 8-hours of sleep their bodies required
It didn't even rain if they weren't sure everyone was carrying an umbrella.
The literally ran everyone's lives & made many their choices for them. Those that resisted were lobotomized.
It was a really good comic.
The Red Son Superman believed in Control.

I'm not the biggest fan of Superman, but I'm enjoyed the Earth-One reboot of Superman. Now I need to read Superman: Red Son.

Shepard not "falling" in those "holes" is related to collision of the player pawn with the environment. The same applies throughout the game, when there is some space between boxes or objects, just enough for "legs" to get into, but not the invisible collision box / cylinder of the player pawn. Sometimes, objects have a slight offset from their "collision box / container", and you will "collide" with this object even if you are not close enough to touch it. Same thing when you try to shoot through some barriers or hand rails : it's transparent under it, yet the enemies crouching behing get no damage, and you can see your shots being blocked by an "invisible wall". They simply map partly transparent textures on solid objects to lower polygon count in a scene.Gallifreya wrote...

Yeah, and sorry but the lightning thing is also a technical issue. It's just an ambiant lightning transition not handled smoothly, it triggers depending on your position and/or orientation, you can see the exact same thing in other games, Dark souls and Dead Space for example.

I just had an idea. The sound starting from when you get hit by the beam and "wake up" sounds to me as if it might be slowed down extremely. Like the ambient noise you always heard in the Inception dream scenes which actually just was the song they always played when entering a dream, just slowed down 70 times or something. Could someone maybe fasten it up and see if it becomes something else?
Agreed! I'd do it myself, but I don't have the skill or know how. I'd love to hear what a sped up version sounds like.

Is the comic in your link your own creation? If so, it is the funnist thing I read in a while.
Also the breath scene, (from IGN, I know ...ign..) but can you see it now matter the ending on your second playthrough (if you have enough of EMS)?
Yeah thanks lol
(Edit: Removed the rest of my comment. I failed at reading lol.)

I just don't get what BioWare was trying to do with that scene (IDT...obviously...but other than this...). I mean, you shoot the Citadel, it BLOWS UP AROUND YOU, it's very clear that the explosion happens like a foot in front of you.
If IDT is false and everything happens as is, I just don't get how you survive the explosion (then of course re-entry to Earth or surviving in space on a blown up Citadel).
BW is lazy...lol...(see above if you don't get what I'm saying).
It's as if someone who only heard about the games designed the ending.
"In ME2, Shepard survived a giant laser, getting exposed to a vacuum and re entry into a planet. I've not played the game, but that must be his super power, right? It's all explained in game!"

I remember some dev talking about reviewing this sequence with staff, and after seeing that somehow, everything was in slow motion, the dev wanted to fix this but some decision was made to keep it that way because the effect, although unexpected, was effective in suggesting a dreamlike, post knock-out state.Earthborn_Shepard wrote...
