@M_k yep its a pretty solid bit of evidence for IT but you noticed the middle section anderson and shepard sit at it suddenly raised up when before it was flat?

He was holding his gut before he shot anderson. His arms and hands were already covered in blood. This isn't evidence for IT any longer.

Here's tghe proof.

He was bleeding way more after he shot Anderson regardless of if he held his gut before or not (you only see him hold his gut for a second, he holds his shoulder more before the Anderson scene). He was bleeding out after he shot Anderson, but then, he's not and he's talking to a ghost kid? AND YOU THINK THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED?!

We forget that Shepard is part synthetic now. His wounds can heal on their own and his blood count can be restored thanks to these parts. It's not so far fetched that he was able to wake up again.

He's not Wolvorine bro.

No, he is Superman.

That is why he survived re-entry in Destroy ending.

I didn't read every analysis or check every damn page of this thread and I just finished the game a couple of days ago. New people might have not noticed that before, I was just pointing it out.
The whole purpose of this is speculating, so I don't see what's the issue.
Except for the spoiler part, it was pointless but I wrote it in a rush, no need to nitpick.

I wouldn't take it too personally, 90% of the content in here seems to be answering/explaining previously discussed topics to new people :)

Speaking of which, you should ask Rifneno about the Prothean VI on Thessia in regards to the indoctrination plot, I've heard he loves that Posted Image

@golferguy i think he ment a few hours after Tim is killed which is still rediculous as the crucible would be ****ed........ I dont think he thought that part out

Yea, there just isn't a large enough period of time to all of a sudden stop the massive trauma he would have endured at any time during the endign sequences.

Honestly, a better reason for why Shep's arm isn't covered in blood at the starkid scene would be a graphical glitch. I'd believe that a lot faster than I would believe that Shepard all of a sudden stopped pouring blood out of his conviently placed gunshot wound.

On another note, is @masseffect or Jessica Merizan or even Mike Gamble still tweeting anything interesting right now?

Well, you could argue that if they still have the time to tweet, they could work more ;) ... but let's just say they seem to be working on some DLC (see e.g. https://twitter.com/...969187823403008)

Well, I doubt Jessica is working on DLC, she's just the community manager, and to be fair to her, tweeting is kind of essential to community managers, since twitter is sort of part of the community.

Also, to chime in on the 'What superhero is Shepard?' thing, s/he is clearly Batman. Remember how we always want to know why s/he doesnt need a helmet in the area where s/he talks to the godchild?

It's pretty obvious, really.

Rifneno, you're a WWE fan?

If IT is true, do you know what I'm going to post here?

A gif of Daniel Bryan and "YES! YES! YES! YES!"

So, maybe it's just me, but I've more or less moved on from Mass Effect because of how Bioware has been handling everything. I think the only reason I post here is cause of the people I've met. It's also the reason why I support the threads as I do. Not for me, but so other people can get to happier conclusions and such.

@Golferguy:
Well, I still refuse to believe that what we have is the end (pure German stubbornness I guess ;)) - also, I do want a nicer ending for myself :)

However, I have stopped my gaming activities and also cut the time on the forums. Basically, I only come here for this thread and its "regular inhabitants" - sometimes browsing other stuff, but really not that much.

Also, on the emotional level, both the frustration from the current ending and the initial excitement when I first discovered IT have faded off. But the fact that I am writing this probably proves that I still care.

And as you said, there's a lot of nice people around here - so I just keep coming back ;)

I would also like to point out that should the cycle continue the Vorcha/Yahg are probably going to be leading the way during that point.

Annnnddd....You are now thinking of a Vorcha Shepard and Yahg Liara making darkspawn.

Have fun with that.

I always thought the yahg looked like DA:O ogres.

I remember when I first saw the Shadow Broker, for a split second I was like 'The Shadow Broker is an ogre?!'

Not sure about Superman, but my Shepard could be Supergirl in her spare time ;)

Anyway, I'd like to thank everyone for their input in this epic discussion.  I was aware of a debacle surrounding the ending of the game, so I rushed my way through it to avoid spoilers.  I walked away from a Destroy ending emotionally drained and shellshocked in the same way I was at the end of "Lost" - which pulled a similar trick with emotional overload of your senses in order to placate your ability to process what's gone on in the final season - which essentially was leftfield plot veer... sound familiar?  The following morning I literally went "...wait.. what?"

So I plunged online to to see what others saw, and very quickly found this topic. Genius! I thought, genius! - both the people forumulating the theory, and - I thought - Bioware.  Alas, I can't really hold the line anymore, everything Bioware has said/done convinced me that ME3 was half-assed rushed, bug-ridden faux-pas I feared it was :(  A tragedy for something that transcended what games and film are capable of in terms of emotional investment, I feel I can't retrospectively involve myself with anything prior to that ending for doing what it did.

I'd so love to be suprised yet tho...  but I think Bioware are going to petulantly stand by their disaster, proudly.

I fail to see where BioWare has said or convinced people that ME3 was "rushed"... the game was pushed back originally.. and EVERY game has bugs. There isn't a single game that doesn't. Look at Skyrim and all the bugs that game had, some still arent fixed. The only bugs that really get fixed asap are the ones that potentially ruin the game or make the game less playable for people (the face import) which have been addressed.

Other than that, yes there are bugs, but nothing gamebreaking. I don't feel the rushed argument holds any merit at all, that said, you're entitled to believe so if you wish.

The problem with people saying that the ending was rushed lays in the fact that games are not worked on chronologically. There is nothign to suggest that the endings were done at the very end of the game. In fact many games do the endings towards the middle/beginning of the production period so that they have a goal line to strive to. it's a lot easier to tie up a narrative when you know the end of it, instead of forming an end around the various narrative threads you wove.

Could it have been done last, sure! I don't think so, though.
