I always played soldier. Powers are neat, but I like to point in a direction and just hold the trigger down.

Soldier was my main class in ME1 and ME2, but vanguard is way too awesome in ME3.

I keep dying against Cerberus in ME3. I just hate them so much after that thing with Kai Leng that I get reckless and start using melee on them while shouting "DIE CERBERUS DIE!!!!"

Not always a good tactic.

@schneeland..i should clarify. it wasn't my game. belonged to a "friend" who spoiled everything for me before i finished it. so i generally know what happened.

@byne..well i do not own an xbox 360 (and i want to stress this before anyone decides to comment on this..I DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN TEH 360/PS3 WAR..both have their advantages and disadvantages), and my pc is slightly better than an atari..had serious issues while playing me1 (but i did not care)

I can solo MP missions quite respectably with my Krogan Vanguard.

Personally I prefer either a soldier (big guns + adrenaline and grenades, fun times) or an adept in ME3. Biotic explosions = win.

I actually saw a video of a human vanguard soloing reapers on gold. Made it to extraction.

Was awesome.

Vanguards are basically explosions in human form. All we do is explode stuff.

That's where the human vanguard beats both Krogan and Asari... the backflip spares you from the Banshee instakill.  Charge + Heavy + Nova + Backflip + Repeat

Soldiers and Adepts are two one dimensional. I played ME1 and ME2 as a Infiltrator but switched to sentinel for ME3. With Throw you can detonate almost everything Liara does. But you still have Overload for shields and Geth.

Definitely agree with Biotic Explosions=win. It makes Liara the most useful squadmate ever, IMO.

Yeah I love combat rolls, best thing of the humans.. and I allways die cause of the lack of it with my Turian sentinel ^^

My asari vanguard can deal with banshee's easily enough without a flashy backflip. Charge, shotgun, back dash, repeat. Still prefer the biotic explosions though

I like Javik. If the explosion from his dark channel kills the target it transfers to another target. Liara and Javik together set up so many explosions for my vanguard its unbelievable.

That's why I liked playing as my adept and sentinel, almost always sparked explosions off Liara's singularity with warp or throw, or set one up for her.
