Okay, brace yourselves for the stupidest question of them all..
How can I open .bik files? There are videos in the game folder with nice names, and I would like to investigate them.
For instance:
Shepard_alive_fem.bik
end_londonbluegood.bik
end_londonbluebad.bik
bunch of vids named "flashback"
and so on...
http://www.radgameto...com/bnkdown.htm
Download and install the rad tools.
After that you can double click to open them.
You can't fault them for labelling, at leastNice and clear names.
But they get mad if we call them red, blue, and green endings.

That's because we leave out London! Just like The Lego company hates it when we call the Legos.
It's so silly the way they name them too because Blue Bad is the same as blue good but the soldiers on the gound don't raise their arms in victory.
Speaking of which... The Reapers had creators too, right ?MaximizedAction wrote...

Nothing big, probably just a little inaccuracy.
That's a very good point against casper. He is indeed not telling the truth, other examples:
- Shepard will die if she chose 'Destroy'. Contradicted by Shep's breathing scene
- Synthetics will always rebell against organics. Contradicted if you saved both Quarians and Geth.

I'd love to know why they dont raise their arms in victory.
Are they like 'Oh, Shepard hasnt played enough multiplayer. No cheering for her today!'?

My problem is, that I really want to believe the IT. It explains all these plotholes perfectly and the arguments for it are very very good, but only if you stay inside the Mass Effect universe. What about the real world? Now there are these Twitters and stuff which pretty much indicate that the IT is right, or at least something similar is going to come.
Like for example: "Mike Gamble already said on his twitter, if the fans knew what was in store, the reaction would be different." But the question is I got here: Why don't they tell us?! Why don't they say anything clear? BioWare has already lost quite a few customers and fans with it, and with some people actually giviing their games back and get their money back cause of the ending, they loose even more money. So why would they wait so long and don't talk? Something tells me that they are just desperate and don't really want to admit that they messed up. :/

I don't think it's a car. I think it's the tube that holds all of the cable together around the destroy option. Not 100% though.

I wonder how much actual money EA is losing. And if they pull IT off, people will flock back. Mostly

There is a faction who thinks they can control the reapers in just about every cycle (or at least the previous cycle) That is not an accident, TIM started thinking he could control the reapers back in the First Contact war, that "idea" was all the influence the reapers needed on TIM.
They attacked Cerberus because
A. TIM was getting to close to controlling husks,
B. When TIM found the plans for the crucible and warned the reapers, Cerberus was no longer useful.
But instead of killing TIM, they tightened the grip of indoc in order to further influence Shepard, or he might already be dead.

Yeah, I agree. This is the only bit of evidence that made me even CONSIDER Shepard on the citadel, or the theory that the hallucination begins when your ship crashes (it looks a bit like a shuttle?). Maybe it's a MAKO? Or is it too rounded?
Also, I'd swear (with the brightness up) that the thing behind it is an upturned MAKO. Don't suppose you can use your photoshop skills to check?

I think the reapers exploit people's greed for power in order to get them indoctrinated. TIM seems to be a just as strong as Shepard is. The problem is that TIM wants power. That greed opened the door.
A) They must have known about TIM's inentions from the beginning since they seem to be able to read minds. It doesn't make much sense that they'll let him get that close.I agree. But they wouldn't kill him off just like that. I'm pretty sure they hang on to indcotrinated people as long as their bodies hold out.

If they knew, then they indeed "let" him get close. It's not like they couldn't find his base if they're already mentally linked.

Same questions I was wondering about just today. More quesitons:
Who created the Crucible if every cycle tried to build it and eventually failed. Is it then Reaper technology, too? What does this imply for the device and it's actual usefulness? And so on...
There is a thread on BSN suggesting that Hackett may have been indoctrinated himself into blindly building the Crucible into the Reaper's hands. After all, the construction did go conviniently without a problem, didn't it?

I disagree.. TIM in no way has anywhere near the willpower that shep does.

I could believe that Hackett is indoctrinated.
He somehow survives the initial attack but mysteriously is incapable of warning anyone that they pushed through.
But then again, if the reapers wanted the crucible docked to the citadel then they should have had the arms open when the fleet arrived.

Unfortunately I can't. The clip I saw with the brightness up was some guy on youtube analysing it to say that it was the Citadels rubble, but i can't find it now :@
I am however checking videos to see if anything near the beam looks like the object.
EDIT: SON OF A...I forgot to get to the run at the beam I'd have to go through the whole of London, since nothing after the shot can be trusted (anyone else notice that a downed ship transforms into...a vertical piece of...floor? after the beam hits you?)
