I play on PC, too.  Don't feel bad.  If you ask me, it is superior to the other two versions due to the increased precision of a mouse and keyboard and the ability to reach 60+ FPS.  However, I don't want to start a flame war, so I will agree to disagree with anyone who has a different opinion.

P.S. Look me up on Origin, my account name is threerocks.

Dont get me wrong, just because I play on xbox doesnt mean I doubt PC is the superior platform to play on, but I have a mac, so I cant really play PC games, and I'm too lazy to bootcamp.

Also, I've played ME on xbox since ME1, so thats where all my saves are.

I understand.  If I had started on Xbox I would probably use it too simply because my saves would be there.

That was after he was brought back to life. Whatever was in his body that made it happen was certainly interesting to Harbinger. Imagine being able to bring you're husks back to life.

Ok, thanks to another one EpyonX3's video's we can see the object in motion, and it's clearly pointed at the front, and definitely some kind of synthetic material (the way the light moves on it).

I never should have named that video what it is. I just got caught up in wanting it to sound dramatic.

It's too late to change it now.

He was brought back to life because he is the one true leader of the resistance, how could a reaper NOT want to indoctrinate him?

Husks are dead, they are the equivalent of zombies. They already know how to bring things back to life.

That would mean we have more advanced tech than the reapers, which we do not. Harbinger has a personal interest in Shepard, this has been established and compounded by his defeat in ME2, as well as his appearing to Shepard at the end of Arrival.

Also, Shepard is the most important part of Earths resistance. Half the fleet would follow Shepard and not Hackett if Shepard took command. It only makes sense to control Shepard.

An understandable impulse. I hadn't even noticed the name.

Not at the time. No one believed that there were reapers despite the attack. Having him killed burried the real story and let the galaxy continue to believe they were safe.

As for husks are people's minds dead but the flesh is still alive. They don't replace all organic material with tech. Shoot a husk in the face and you'll see his brain. Ewww.

From the Husks codex entry...

After the geth secure a location, they round up and impale dead and living bodies on mechanical spikes. The spikes rapidly transform these victims into withered husks, extracting water and trace minerals and replacing them with cybernetics. The cybernetics re-animate the lifeless flesh and tissue, transforming the bodies into mindless killing machines.

The Reapers can already do that.

You're right, but right after being brought back to life he quickly becomes the symbol of hope again, To the reapers, him being brought back would be a clear sign that Shepard is no ordinary man and they begin to know him on a last name basis. They killed him for what he knew before, now they want him for what he stands for.

But they're mindless animals. TIM brought Shepard back with his mind in tact. Something reapers haven't done. Look at Saren. When he shot himself and died, he was resurrected into a crazy husk. At that point he was not as useful as his previous state.

If reapers can bring them back with their minds in tact, they don't have to wait so long to indoctrinate. They can raidly indoctrinate without sacrificing the mind of the slave.

Saren wasnt brought back as a crazy husk, Sovereign assumed direct control of him.

I'd assume the Reapers CAN bring things back with a mind, they just dont see the point in it. Indoctrinated subjects that have any free will remaining tend to end up shooting themselves. Better just to have mindless shock troops that wont ever pose a problem.

To throw in my two cents, just looked at the video with the mysterious object and it looks like it has white racing stripes across it, almost? Don't some Alliance vehicles have that? Might just be my 'too much wine' eyes, but there we go. Whole thing's too curved to be a conventional shuttle though.

I thought it looked like a car at first too, but I'm not sure because it looks so plain besides the stripes.

Yeah, I know, the lines do look like a stripe/pattern or something, but yeah too curved. The damn thing seems to be actively trying to avoid classification :P

Oh, one other thing. It's more weird than anything else. If you turn up the sound effects in the Crucible and turn off the volume, you can hear this odd pulsing whistle. It's really bizarre, and I cannot figure out where it's coming from.

Man it's been a while since I've played ME1. I don't remember it being soveriegn that took control of him.

But in any case, I disagree. If they can get more out of their husks and make them more efficient, they will. They seem to be really interested in improving themselves based on the civilizations they harvest. Harbinger also said, "Your worlds will be our Laboratories." They don't just come in and kill everything and leave, they stay, experiment, get what they want and eventually leave.

His interest isn Shepard's body hints at that. Why his body? What makes Shepard's body more special then lets say Miranda or Ashley?

That's what lead me to believe it was the tubing since the tubing has similar stripes.

I always thought they looked like a reaper leg.... (you can kinda see similarities in it and the reaper on ranoch)

Ideas? Maybe its harbinger and IT was a final boss battle with harbinger and choosing destroy kills him in real life? (My personal theory)

Only to his crew and Anderson. Everyone else outside of Cerberus sees him as a traitor to the galaxy. All throughout the game people approached you negatively. Some weren't even sure that you were real.

They should have known how shepard was resurected. TIM was probably not willing to share the details, so they tried getting him and studying him themselves.

Harbinger is huge. He's bigger than sovereign. I doubt it was his leg. If it was a reaper leg I'd say it was one of the smaller ones like the one you blow up just before getting to the beam.

My thoughts were that it changed shape because the cables it was holding ripped appart, making it sag and look like it's flatter than it usually is. Again, I'm guessing at it.
