Was the ending a hallucination? - Indoctrination Theory

That said, if the citadel explosion itself was part of Shepard making sense of defeating the indoctrination, like yhe galaxy map has been suggested to be, then maybe the only explosion that buried her was the one caused by blowing up the conduit. In that case it might be feasible.
Just throwing ideas around really. I personally think Shep is on Earth, as there are so many irregularities from the Shuttle crash onwards.

To throw in my two cents, just looked at the video with the mysterious object and it looks like it has white racing stripes across it, almost? Don't some Alliance vehicles have that? Might just be my 'too much wine' eyes, but there we go. Whole thing's too curved to be a conventional shuttle though.
Yeah, I know, the lines do look like a stripe/pattern or something, but yeah too curved. The damn thing seems to be actively trying to avoid classification
I always thought they looked like a reaper leg.... (you can kinda see similarities in it and the reaper on ranoch)
Ideas? Maybe its harbinger and IT was a final boss battle with harbinger and choosing destroy kills him in real life? (My personal theory)
Harbinger is huge. He's bigger than sovereign. I doubt it was his leg. If it was a reaper leg I'd say it was one of the smaller ones like the one you blow up just before getting to the beam.
Maybe one of his smaller plates? Like his toe? Lol jk. But I do think it a bit of a "reaper" look to it

Do not know. Though I doubt resiting indoctrination could harm a reaper. It's possible that Harbinger is still just standing there, fighting hammer. Arg.

You guys are forgetting an important part of this I believe. Every planet doesn't have the same atmosphere. Alchera's atmopshere might not be nearly as hellish for re-entry as Earth's is. There's a bit of data about Alchera in the game but honestly I don't remember what determines how damaging atmospheric re-entry is on a specific planet. I vaguely recall that Earth's is particularly bad for roughly the same reasons that it can support life (which Alchera shows no signs of), but I don't trust memories that foggy.

I would imagine getting edi to come out would require a huge amount of EMS. Seems the more EMS you have the least amount of damage the red space magic does.
Hmm. I'll have to watch next time then. I've got some pretty retarded EMS because I liked MP a lot more than I thought I would. But I never actually watch the ending, I just shoot the tube and go make a sandwich or something.

I talked to him a lot too, but only because I kept trying to find the option to say "Look bug, when we need advice on how to lose to the Reapers you'll be the first one I call. Until then, quit trolling and shut up."
Never found it.

Is kaidan any good ?... he kind a blended into the background in ME1 for me. Thinking of letting ashley die finally... even though I'm a sexist by women's account coz I can't let that woman die...
Kaiden is the most boring person that ever existed. Only talk to him if you have insomnia and need something stronger than Ambien. But he has reave, which is easily one of the best skills in the game. So if you mean good combat wise, yes. Reave is awesome and he's another helpful addition for creating biotic explosions. Is he good character wise? He's the prototype for Diana Allers.
Ashley OTOH isn't very useful IMO. Marksman is a great skill for Shepard but I seriously doubt squadmates benefit much from that kind of buff. And while I have nothing but distaste for both VS'es, I find Ashley a bigger douche over ME2. When you're getting the Horizon assignment and she comments "I was stationed the Iera system and you were the only Cerberus presence there." I wanted FemShep to deck her.

Love to see the anti-IT'ers explain that if it turns out to be true.
They'll find a way to blame it on lazy writing, naturally.
When we found that the model for the control panel at the end was named "End_Choice_BadA_01" in the pcc files, someone said we're grasped at straws and that file names don't mean anything. I lol'd.

Someone should make one of those stupid flashing banners. You know, those "Congratulations, you're the one millionth visitor to this site!" banners for idiots to click on and give their SS # to spammers? Except have it say "Congratulations, you're the one millionth person to think a meaningless comment completely debunked IT!"

It's definelty a tough one. This one peice could settle the debate once and for all.
P.S. I saw a video depicting Mass Effect as a Saturday morning cartoon. Could you imagine seeing harbinger flee to his dark space hide out after loosing his toe in battle, sitting on his dark space throne saying,"This hurts me, I will get revenge Shepard!"

That's what lead me to believe it was the tubing since the tubing has similar stripes.
I can see that, but I think the tubing is the wrong shape. This thing definitely has a front, from what I can see.
My thoughts were that it changed shape because the cables it was holding ripped appart, making it sag and look like it's flatter than it usually is. Again, I'm guessing at it.
We're all guessing, so *shrug*

i personally feel that gives more support to IT. In that Shepard's mind is being weighed down by the many lives lost in the course of the series, and that guilt or attention manifests through the hallucination as the floor of her dream being littered with all those lost. There certainly weren't any blood waterfalls on the Collector base when they were making a reaper.
EDIT: That I saw, anyway...

As for ME2 reentry Alchera's atmosphere is 17% less than Earth's and gravity is 15% less than earth. It would definitely be less severe than reentry on earth. Shepard's initial velocity is ~zero, as opposed to an asteroid going thousands of mph. Upon impact he'd be going fast enough to kill him and turn him to "meat and bones" like Jacob says in Lazarus project. But Liquefy... I don't think so. Wish I was better at physics though.

Killing saren disabled sovereign in me1. Could be similar. Also it been said the the exact same thing won't work because the reapers fixed that error, but this time its different a more direct link. Your not killing a reapers pawn, this time your mentally overcoming the reaper itself ....
