Oh, one last unrelated thing.

Please don't make me summonable like.. you know who. I won't be able to get some rest.

Yeah, that does look like a Mako. Also, to link a pic from the first page:

I've tried to get EDI to walk out of the Normandy, but I ALWAYS get Ashley (my LI) and Javik.

I'm inclined to believe that it's always your LI and I'm not really sure the criteria for the second person. I did talk to Javik quite a bit though, but I talked to EVERYONE as much as I could.

I talked to him a lot too, but only because I kept trying to find the option to say "Look bug, when we need advice on how to lose to the Reapers you'll be the first one I call. Until then, quit trolling and shut up."

Never found it. :(

I always got my LI and one of the London squadmates. So I would think (haven't tried it) that if you brought EDI and your LI, they would both come out.

As for ME2 reentry Alchera's atmosphere is 17% less than Earth's and gravity is 15% less than earth. It would definitely be less severe than reentry on earth. Shepard's initial velocity is ~zero, as opposed to an asteroid going thousands of mph. Upon impact he'd be going fast enough to kill him and turn him to "meat and bones" like Jacob says in Lazarus project. But Liquefy... I don't think so. Wish I was better at physics though.

Did Shepard really crash on that planet? I know some said it you can see him begin to are-enter. But after looking again it looks more like a sunlight thing or something because he was so far way....

When you go back to the planet for the mission to collect dog-tags you find Shep's helmet among the Normandy wreckage, so yeah, she really did crash on the planet.

But his helmet supposedly kept his head/brain intact. Did they just pluck it off as soon as they found him there? Its certainly possible. I always saw it as a continuity fail. An excuse to get a cool knick knack for your room.

It's a bit of a continuation suspension of disbelief thing really. It's unlikely it would have worked but the story gained from it kinda lets you pretend it does. I.e. the world was cold and Shep helmet could protect the brain etc.

Also, the piles of bodies near the beam which are actually made up from bits of Kaiden, Ashley and Jenkins creep me the f*ck out. I thought live people were needed to harvest to make a reaper anyway, hence the stasis fields created by the Collectors' bugs. If that is the case then dead'uns just wouldn't do the trick and Shepard's supposition on the crucible is wrong.

I didn't notice this, can anybody point it out for me?

its shiny, but  doesnt look like citadel material...... (brightness has been adjusted)

still think it looks reaper-ish

YOU BEAUTIFUL PERSON. Not only is that a great enhancement but look behind it. I knew it. It's an upturned MAKO.

EDIT: or ok, it looks like one to me. Dialing back the enthusiasm :P

No, but seriously. Determine what models have a stripe like that on their hull. Does the Destroy tube thing have a long stripe like that?

I can't see the picture :(

And you know we're talking about the thing behind the Object we were discussing. You can't normally see it well at all withouth the brightness adjust.
I'll find a mako image in a min for comparison.

That's definitely a Mako! See that spot that sticks out during the scene? There it is between the wheels!

I wanna be a crazy conspiracy theorist for a moment! :D The 3 and 4 wheels add up to 7, for Shepard! And the only standout features of TIM's and Andersons outfit are that Anderson has four stripes as his insignia, while TIM has the 3 button insignia. 3 and 4 make 7!

...as much as I was trying to be mocking there, a tiny part of me suddenly wants that to be true :P

I think someone ought to write "Indoctrination for Dummies" article. When we get another repeat questions, just give him link to it.

I know it must be frustrating to have people repeat things you already know, but there are fifteen hundred pages now and not all of us were here at the beginning :-) Consider it to be continued enthusiasm for IT.

Hmm wait, I've been looking at images of upside down Mako's and it seems the underside is smooth. There's a large bump in the image on the right of the vehicle. Ideas? Or is it a different vehicle?

@byne....did you notice the shadows?

Every other shadow in the room is going away from the beam of light. Except shepherds. That one is pointing TOWARDS it. What's up with that?

I dunno what the shiny thing during the breath scene is. But is it really that important? It's so minor compared to the clearly concrete rubble laying around you..

I've always dismissed it, to be honest. It's the ONLY metal thing in the scene, you'd think if it was the Citadel, you'd see a lot more than that, but concrete is the mainstay.

Yeah, the concrete kind of overshadows the other details IMO.

If we're still talking about Shepard being on the Citadel or Earth, I think the omgwtf explosion overshadows everything. :)

Fun fact: I checked for giggles and 100kt is actually in the range of low yield MIRV-based thermonuclear weapons. For those that are foggy on high school science, that's a hydrogen or fusion bomb as opposed to the 'sissy' atomic or fission bombs. It doesn't really change what Shepard supposedly survived because after all it's not a nuke going off there, we're just using nukes as a comparison because they're the only bombs that actually exist which yield remotely close to what we see on the Citadel. But I have to admit it gives me an extra chuckle to know that IT opponents are actually claiming Shepard survived being at ground zero of something in the league of the true apocalypse missiles.

Okay. Sorry, lex0r11.

Guys! lex0r11 wants some rest. Stop saying lex0r11 now, or else lex0r11 will have to keep coming back. lex0r11 needs his beauty sleep. ... Sorry lex0r11, but it's true. When I first saw you, I said to myself, "Self, lex0r11 looks like somebody set his face on fire and put it out with an axe. I sure hope lex0r11's children look like lex0r11's wife instead. My God. Poor lex0r11."

Even if it isn't a Mako (which I find highly unlikely) it sure does look like some sort of vehicle. You can clearly make out some type of wheels.
