Also these look like reaper cables. I can't see it being rebar.

Keep in mind that these textures are at a much higher res. If it is indeed rebar then we're seeing it at a high res texture.. the other rebar found throughout the Earth mission is extremely low res.

Oh I'm not saying he did. My apologies. I'm just asking. I've had people tell me that each dream and its whispers are attempts to give shepard suggestions and get him indoctrinated. But those whispers don't suggest anything, they're just recolections of the past.

Hmm.. looks similar, but it's not EXACTLY the same. In the dark area it looks like verticle line lines on the citadel, and horizontal on the Shep alive pic. And on the Citadel there is no separation between those two dark rectangles, in the Shepa alive scene the IS a separation, it doesn't look like the exact same asset.

Didn't look at that video, but I can take a stab at what it entails.

I think the whispers most people refer to when talking about the dreams are the ones you can't make out. The ones that get louder the as time goes on. Whispers that you can't understand are symptoms of indoctrination.

Keep in mind that these textures are at a much higher res. If it is indeed rebar then we're seeing it at a high res texture.. the other rebar found throughout the Earth mission is extremely low res.

Rebar shouldn't really be that close to each other. They aren't even that close in the earth shots. Plus, they resemble these cables better

I can see a vague shape that might be the rectangular vents.  I do not, however, see anything that would let a human survive an explosion equivalent to one hundred thousand tons of TNT.

The problem with these are they are not the EXACT same cable... The separation between metal segments is wider in the Shep alive scene.

The problem I have with it is that the "cables" are sticking straight up.. when everywhere else they're curved.. or bent. Rebar IMO is the only thing that would be sticking straight up. And the closeup of the cables inside the citadel compared to the breath scene don't really match.

Thhe problem with these are they are not the EXACT same cable... The separation between metal segments is wider in the Shep alive scene.

Well I'd show you the exact cables but I'll get yelled at for using flycam. The cables are there and very detailed but I can't get a good close up shot without it.

The cables here are the smaller ones that wrap around the blocks and lead into the destroy option.

I don't expect to see the exact same assets in the last scene. I expect to see higher detailed objects modeled after the assets in game.

Lets assume that you're right and that those are indeed the cables from the destroy area.

Where did all that concrete come from? There was no concrete anywhere nearby.

It's funny, My 15 year old daughter just finished the game last night before going to bed. She came downstairs full of tears and broken hearted but totally content with her ending (Synthesis). She never once heard about the IT theory, I then approached her today and asked her if anything was out of place and didnt seem right about the ending. She then told me she felt like at one point the thought of Indoctrination ran through her mind. I told her she might have been tricked by the Stargazer to spare the Reapers by picking the Synthesis ending, I then reminded her about how Saren was fooled (Indoctrinated) by the Idea of merging Organics with Machines in ME1. I also reminded her of how the entire ME3 playthrough Shepard was arguing against controlling the Reapers (Illusive mans agenda coming from his indoctrination). I also showed her how it seemed like the Stargazer was trying to convince her NOT to pick the Destroy ending by using the Red Color and the lie that Shepard would die. After all, the Reapers are trying to avoid death.

She then watched the IT video and saw how the Oily Shadows dreams were eerily similar to the description of indoctrination from the Rachni Queen in ME1. I also mentioned to her that how could the Illusive man use his ability of control, that he got from experimenting with Reaper Indoctrination, on Shepard unless Shepard was in fact already Indoctrinated. After all, Reapers cannot control people who arent Indoctrinated so neither should the Illusive man. She then started to put all the pieces together about the Arrival Artifact, Derelic Reaper and things. Let me tell you, this blew her mind. She is with me though, I do believe Shepard is indoctrinated however I believe he made it to the Citadel and chose A,B or C, but I do believe the confrontation with Anderson and the Illusive man and Stargazer were all attemps at Indoctrination. If this is true and actually what they intended then WOW, if its not true then hats off to whoever thought of this and Bioware needs to put you on their payroll for ME4.
