The signal kills synthetics accroding to the child and is not reaper specific. Again it's a guess as the Space Magic itself is pretty strange.

But unexplainable technology doesn't always need to imply a dream sequence.

Not all synthetics because EDI can live.

As well as shepard... (breath scene) he should be dead there... but somehow survived 2 explosions, the signal space magic wave.. and the fall back to Earth. :wizard:

EDI coming out of the ship has yet to be seen and has been rumored by a single post on a forum. To my knowledge, no one has been able to replicate it.

Sorry bout the crazy link, on my Droid

That's Synthesis. She always comes out on Synthesis so that you can see Joker and EDI's possible happy ever after. The issue is seeing edi come out after you pick the red destroy option.

Vega of all people explains this. When you talk to him on the citadedl he notices how weird it is that everyone seems so calm considering that the reapers are in the galaxy and the citadel served as a trap. Basically there is low level mass indoc going on that "keeps the masses sedated" the reapers designed it to be the hub of the galaxy. People still flock there because they think it is safe when it's not.

I don't believe there is low level mass indoc at the citadel. To me that is just a false sense of security, it's like going to a war zone and then come back to a safe place. Vega just saw his world destoried and he thinks that this is a war that everyone needs to fight, and for him being in a safe haven nothing feels right.

Perception.

So how would you react? I thought Vega reacted like anybody if they were in his shoes.

Me too. I look to this example. On 9/11 in the US New yorkers were in disarray. I wasn't under the towers but I live in brooklyn and could see the towers on fire from where I was. Everyone was shaken by it.

Do you think people in lets say california were just as shaken? Or even people in another country like Russia or Brazil?

The further away you are from danger, the less you feel threatened by it. This is what I saw on the Citadel.

LOL, you cannot compare 9/11 to Mass Effect. Someone hijacking a plane is a bit different that a bunch of cthulus coming from darkspace.

I would go to that one planet that destroyed all of its own satellites to try and make the reapers think that we were primitive.

I would be like "why are these people so calm? where is this false sense of security coming from"

I would make it my only goal to destroy the reapers, not bargain with them, not let them trick me.

I WOULD DESTROY THE REAPERS.

We have reports of which relays are active and how much activity changed. Once you go through that relay your solar system is marked. All they have to do after that is go after every inhabitable planet after that.

(S)He isn't trying to really compare, but trying to make you use your feelings and bring that out to the game.

I'm trying *NOT* to directly compare a reaper attack to 9/11. I am comparing people's reaction to a catastrophic event based on their distance from it. While new yorkers were physically and emotionally ditressed, the same couldn't be said about the rest of the world.

EDIT:**NOT**

Oh and about that keeper who "looks" at Shep when he goes to the citadel through the portal the keepers along there and even in the docking bay all look in that direction if you watch him after the cut scene he still glances in the same direction.

At this point the keepers role was to process the bodies. It probably looked at it to see if it needed to be moved out of the way. If you notice there's a path to the doors with bodies piled. I'm sure the keeprs made the path to be able to move from front to back.

Since Shep was alive, it want back to work and ignored him like always.

He He what I meant was that it's the keepers default idle to quickly glance in the same direction all the time, the keeper at Docking Bay D-24 always looks in the same direction when it is idle infront the controller thingie. And that it was a big coinky dink that it "looked" at Shep at the start of the scene.

I always felt like the keepers were watching me while playing. I would like to see Bioware have a DLC where your Shep looks for the origin of the Keepers within the Citadel.

I reckon the queen keeper is "integrated" into the citadel, so the citadel is half building half keeper queen. He He that is me just musing away though.
But I don't know for some reason I feel like the keepers along with dark energy are tied into reapers some how, for all we know they could be the original creators of the reapers.

I did and I tried turning it back to the game. But there are conversations about the game itself, like vega's convrsation, the citadel and keeprs.

It's a very good question. The introduction of the Catalyst raises a lot of questions concerning his role during the events of ME1 and ME2. I've argued in a short story I wrote that it's possible the Catalyst was trapped in the Citadel. As for why he doesn't indoctrinate, I'm guessing he can't (as explained in the story). Going by my story, indoctrination would have been a Reaper creation trying to mimic the control the Catalyst had over them for millions of years. I am, however, playing with the idea that TIM may have been possessed by the Catalyst at some point. It's fun.^_^

Good luck with that :)

you cant right fan fiction and call it truth.... for the same reason they are changing the last mass effect book because it had to many contridictions and plot errors......... and the catalyst sais he created the reapers.... which is also total bs.................. AND POSSESION HAS NO PLACE IN THIS UNIVERSE....... its indoctrination... and dont say its the same thing because im not going to dismiss it.......... to tired..........

When you enter the "control Room" you see all the lights from the usual Citadel traffic flying around outside with a bit of floating wreckage. I assumed most were okay and the dead you saw previously were the "beamed up" dead and indoctrinated.

But then when you open the Citadel arms, all the lights are gone and then you blow everything up and after the credits I'm left wondering if I just murdered 6 trillion souls while everyone is screaming that the Reapers Relays went ka-blooey!

I think I wrote this somewhere else, but I believe the Keepers are the orignal sepices that created flight. The keepers created the reapers to do space flight and to fight wars, then I think the other speices attacked the Keepers. This then led the reapers to attack all live and their creation in their mad conquest to save everything. To me that would make sense why the reapers like the keepers look normal, because it was their creators.

Exactly, I was in Long Island  and that day I was at school when I heard the news.

The smoke came over my school. I didn't even know what was going on until my teacher went to the internet in class.

I also read someone's theory saying they could of been created by species in another galaxy to stop organics getting to advance and try and take of their galaxy lol.

Oh, man I remember that day and I'm South African. Came home from School and turned on the one channel (ETV) to watch Pokemon, lol, but they had switched to the live feed of the Towers. Had never heard of the "Twin Towers" before then. Must have seen them referenced in Kojak or the Simpsons even, but never thought of them as the "Twin Towers" until the day they went down.

Man, hard to believe that was 11 years ago already and strange I remember that more clearly than my entire High School education :P

That's what i thought about the lights at first. But I think that's Citadel lights belonging to the actual structure not traffic. Those lights turn right back on in the color you pick right before it fires.

The debris pretty much tells you what happened to all of the people on the citadel. There was a struggle but the lost.

Did you notice that the Citadel is closed when it arrives at Earth. So it's inhabitatnts might be unaware of what's happening and just carry on with their lives.

Plus, no species has to starve after the destrtuction of the relay network. By that time most of them might have been annihalated by the Reapers. Dead do not eat.

I think the keepers look the same because we as the player can't tell the same differences or because being the first speices it could be in there genes. Maybe you should make a group and get lots of Keeper fans and talk about their origin.
