They weren't nanites because Anderson was already under control before the wave appeared. 

Nanites clearly go after the subject's entire body like a swarm of bugs. Shepard would have been swatting at himself before he was paralized.

The start of the whispers is heralded by a basey boom (this is a few seconds after the position I've linked). Surely they should have used this for the TIM's appearance?

EDIT - of course, this is not proof, but's another one of those incredibly odd occurences that IT seems to explain but literal doesn't.

EDIT - sorry, thought you meant you wanted the BGM gone, not taken and analysed. I'm not sure it has any, most of the stuff would qualify as effects (whispers, lighning bolts, ambient echoing, and the single tum tum). Music only comes in later in the scene.

Anderson has that gun moments before the run to the citadel. After the laser, Shep picks it up, which makes no sense because Anderson was behind him.

This is another Bioware slip up. The only reason I believe this is because even in certain in game cinemtatics, you're given a gun you didn't carry into the mission. They could have just given it to you becuase any other gun wouldn't fit the final scenes.

The only reason it stands out to me is because this specific model is important to Shepard, It's the model that Mordin gives you in ME2, Anderson has it, and if you shoot Mordin on Tuchanka, you throw the gun away in disgust.

Also, it has the word caution on it, which us it'ers like to attribute as a warning about something. But I won't read to much into this for now.

I agree that I'm not sure that actual gun is significant.  Between all the cutscenes on ME3, Shepard randomly switches between that pistol, the Avenger Assault rifle, and the gun you are actually using, depending on the scene. 

Although it is true, I think, that the ending is first time in the whole trilogy that Shepard just has a random gun available with no explanation in a playable scene.  Isn't it?

There is music. The "DUN-DUNN" is part of it, it does this right when TIM shows up basically. The whispers aren't  part of it, so know I'll just do SFX now.

See this is what i'd rather do. look at the game and its many peices. Rather than argue what if's and opinion vs opinion.

Well, there's whisper's right when TIM shows up, but the rest of the time it's the electricity in hall ways farther back. However, there are times when we he the low pitched growl sound without the more intense shadowy effect. Is this just to emphasize TIM's word's or something more?

Also, every single thing you hear on the slo-mo walk to the beam, is a sound effect.

@EpyonX3 I think that's what a lot of us would rather do, unfortunately the circumstances aren't ideal since we don't have "testible" evidence in the standard sense.

And balance, the reaper growls are spread throughout the conversation and happen at quite telling moments. One of the first ones is when TIM is speaking about how the first humans wanted to "destroy the relays *growl*". You can go through the entire vid if you want and see. TBH I didn't think these were hidden, cos I remember them being quite loud :S
