The only word I thought I could make out was "shepard" (by the way, after this none of us will be able to spell "shepherd" correctly). I wasn't sure about the Krogan voice cos I had no dead Krogans in my game so had nothing to compare it too.
The Krogan voice is here and there, buried deep in the whispers. You have to listen hard to hear it because at first you might think it's Sovereign or Harbinger, but it has that..... gravelly Krogan quality. I may have even heard a few Rachni, but this is just the subliminal stuff I'm trying to pick up on.
Are you sure you're checking the right part? Because Krogan or not, it doesn't sound buried at all :S

Also.. something I just found out.. they were gonna charge us for that resurgence map pack. There was a version of it released on xbox live that required you pay to get it. So they caved to fan influence to get it done. Maybe the same for extended cut (if originally planned)
They explained various times that that was an xbox glitch, it was only up for a few hours or something and they warned people the entire time not to buy it.
Yeah I know.. but things released on the store are prepared weeks in advance. It wasn't a glitch but rather just a misstep on someone's part.

Playing it reversed makes it sound worse. Even when slowed down with the same pitch. It certainly loops over and over and sounds more Krogan than anything else. I can hear a hint of a woman's voice similar to femshep.
Who'd have guessed this is what we'd spend our free time doing, eh?

It's one or the other. If it takes weeks to get it on the store then they can't just "change" the price quickly cos people are unhappy.
But if you mean a misstep as in someone submitted something with the wrong box ticked then yeah ok.

Since the walls are Shifting and the Citadel seems to be changing as we go through it, what are the chances that those 1M1 Guns came from a part of the Citadel that was once exposed to us, in which we painted the signs on?
There are parts of the Citadel with human writings, like 780 in the presidium. We should look out for these 1M1 guns, even though we may not be able to see the 1M1, around the Citadel.

I was listening to the ME3 soundtrack today, specifically "An end once and for all.," and I have two thoughts about it:
- Damn, the music is amazingly evocative, but it makes me relive the whole ending sequence in my mind, which is a deeply unpleasant experience!
- The song ends with on a very ominous and cliffhanger-esque note. I can't bear to play or rewatch the ending sequence (don't judge me! I'm sensitive!), so can somebody tell me what part of the ending sequence coincides with the ending of the song? Is it right after Shepard makes her final choice?
Finally someone who mentions the soundtrack.
Yes, I noticed the dissonance piece at the end of "An End Once and For All" which DOES sound like a cliffhanger piece. It plays while you see the Normandy/Joker fleeing from the energy beam.
But why is this piece of the soundtrack even noteworthy?
The contradiction with the title of the track itself. It not only says "An End" but also seems to emphasize the fact that this is an ending by adding "Once and For All". But the music clearly doesn't show it, since it first builds up the tone and then suddenly drops out of chord and cuts. This is not an ending for a soundtrack that is supposed to mark the end of a journey...

Hmm. me too. Here's something a little interesting about Bioware's recent twitter posts after the PAX announcements-
There seems to be the idea that you can only reunite with your love interest if you choose the destroy option and unlock the breath scene (according to bioware). Therefore sorta acknowledging the fact that there is a correct ending to be had by fans..
Anti-IDTers seem to argue with the fact there there is a correct ending.. when bioware also seems to suggest that about extended cut.
Idn about you guys but I'll be picking destroy just for the option to reunite with LI.. because tali is just way too sexy...
I totally picked SynthesisCouldn't condemn all the Geth to death. Besides, the problem I have with people who were "wary" about the ending but couldn't explain why - not a very logical decision
I mean, if you actually believed the Starchild (and without knowing IT, you pretty much have to) Destroy is the worst one to pick
well, sorry if that insulted you. It's just that the kid never sit right with me and after I had just brokered peace between the Quarians and the Geth, he's talking about Organics and Synthetics always fighting and confusing the galaxy's issues with the Reapers. I didn't trust the kid from the moment he walked up to me from that platform and this was before I read up on IT.
When he said EDI and the Geth would die, I was like " well can't do that" then he said " even you are partly synthetic" and then from there I was like " this little **** is making my true goal look evil while making my enemy's goal look good. Plus, he just admitted he's king of the Reapers. He's a filthy liar"
I did not hesitate after the conversation with Casper and went straight to destroy, thinking " Well, it sucks to be EDI and the Geth but Shepherd is the one who always does what needs to be done whatever the cost. Plus the Star-Con Artist is definitely shady." So I had no regrets. When I saw the breath scene, I was like " I knew he was a lying piece of garbage" and immediately connected the dots that if Shepherd hadn't died, EDI and the Geth were probably just fine too.

Also you guys should consider playing the game with no music. Lots of things pop out in the sound effects. Like the sound of the reapers being effected by the space magic on earth and on the galaxy map at the end.
Please tell me this means SOMEONE else has heard the weird whistling noise in the Crucible

Thanks, I have a few nagging doubts, but in general I am down with IT. As for replaying the end. . .I just really want to wait until we have the final version - whatever that turns out to be. I was extremely perturbed and unsettled by the ending for at leas a day, and I really don't want to experience that again until things have completely settled down. However, I have been following this thread (and posting occasionally), so I am pretty familiar with most of the details - I just don't want to experience them again. I know that is overly dramatic, but my reaction was just. . .intense.

Don't worry, I know that feel. Everytime I decide to continue my second playthrough I usually stop after half an hour, recalling what awaits me at the end. So I too am waiting for more comment from Bioware's side.
