While looking at the files I may have discovered something truly horrific!

There are assets from The Ancient Krogan City and Thessia in the last level.

Two of the planets that were supposedly going to be in the EC but was said to be fake.

Could part of the EC be already on the disk?  :o

I'm looking for a way to view the assets.

I doubt that, since you've already been there, so even if it's in the EC it;s just revisiting.

Based on the file names, they took Water from Thessia and Stone from the Ancient City.

I can see the water but the stone? I thought stone was non-existant on the Citadel, regardless of it being a dream or not.

Looking on....

Perhaps you've found your concrete like substance ;)

Though really, I gotta say well done, you've probably been the biggest help to this thread in terms of bringing up actual evidence.

Oh, while you dig around the game assets, you could confrim that they labelled the blue ending control rods "Bad Ending"?

If you have time, of course :P

Are you sure those aren't assets being used in the jungle planet?

Nah, unless they change the Reapers motivations back to the Dark Energy thing, then they already changed the artistic vision of the original writer, and cannot claim artistic integrity as a defense.

It's planet Zorya from Zaeed DLC.

BUT WHAT IS BOTTOM RIGHT BLACK SCREEN?!

Amusing find.

Black screen is gone ^^ images50.fotosik.pl/1522/d68b53ea54cb50aa.jpg

You have lost all your artistic integrity by altering the ending! :(

I can add some other colours if you want... for example red, blue and green? B)

Awesome find! at least now we can see follow a path to this planet from earth.

The stone could be garden stone, like the kind you find on the presidium and in the council chambers. Asthetics and decoration.

You mean even more stuff from place Shepard has been before happen to be incorporated into the last area?

Man, I'm starting to feel sorry for you Epyon.

Its like, the more you try to disprove IT, the more you make me believe it.

;)

At some point, a massive amount of coincidences makes them cease to actually be coincidences...

Now hold on, we can't be too sure of anything until he finds out how to view them, if it's some random bit of piping or something hidden way off in a corner it's not a MASSIVE help to our argument. But I admit, it does strike me at first glance as very supportive. Geeze, combine that with the photo of that planet and...man.

well sure, I'm just saying that at some point the evidence piles up enough to make the argument more sound. I don't think we've reached a place where it's impervious, but it's starting to add up to something substantial.

True. Of course we all believed that there were far too many coincidences ages ago, but yeah the recent stuff has been pretty damn solid. I think the problem is most people don't see the big picure, they just see lots of tiny, dismissible "oversights".

Between the whispers and the Crucible drum appearing in the TIM conversation, the picture of the planet they landed on, and this, I'd say this is probably the most solid evidence collected in such a short time.

I'm looking at assets in the Ending2 section after the beam. There's an Ending 3 section which I haven't gotten to. But it's really small compared to the others. I'm assuming that's the jungle planet.

Ah but that was due to the script leak wasn't it? Artistic integrity only applies once you've finished a story and released it, not while you write it. Rewrites happen all the time.

I didn't look at the leak, but there is one mention of Dark Energy in this game. The Catalyst is described as being a dark energy enhancer (or something). The prothean VI tells you.

EDIT - besides, we'd have crucified them if they stuck to the script after it leaked. People would be angry they didn't change it.

Also keep in mind that I, even though have stated this repeatedly, began loving IT until I saw some discrepencies. You won't catch me waving it around like the new testiment  but I would like it to be true just as much as the next guy.

You have been perfectly reasonable and evidence-based in your arguments, I think most people in this thread would agree. A sobering force, which is of course necessary with any claim like this.

First: if you change your ending just because people saw it ahead of time, you clearly werent artistically attached to the old one, and the new one was never your original artistic vision. You cant claim artistic integrity either way.

Second: Shepard also mentions that the Crucible is a dark energy device to Dr. Conrad Verner, PhD.

Dark Energy is actually what Conrad's doctoral dissertation was on.

Ok, while I think from a purely philisophical point of view you're right, from a practical perspective no modern human being who wants to eat can claim that level of artistic integrity :P

Mind you, I think I'm dragging us off topic :P

I do wonder if they'll bring back the dark energy thing in the dlc. Seems a shame to have so much foreshadowing and not get to do anything with it.

yes and THEN after the ship's engines are scrapped in transit, he just HAPPENS to crashland on a planet shep has been to before in the VERY same place they landed before.

Considering it's at least been a couple months between the start of ME3 and the crash, that planet will have moved in the system plus it rotates. That means it is almost impossible for Joker to have landed in the same place, best pilot in the Galaxy or not (and yes i know the planets don't actually orbit their stars in the game, they stay in the same place for game engine reasons perhaps.. As an amatuer astronomer, this has always bothered the hell out of me).

OH DAMN and here's another kicker. Zorya is in the Faia system while the mass relay is actually in Aquila. WTF. He'd have to go FTL from Aquila to get there.

Ok, why choose a planet that we've been to, give us a pretty strong indicator of what planet it is, AND make it pretty impossible AND unlikely to get to? I mean, unless they just reused the assets from 2 (but it's CG, right? So they'd have to actively copy the planet, that's more extra work than just inventing a vague jungle one). They're deliberately making this as impossible as they can.

Seriously though... I was surprise as to how close the batarian homeworld is... I mean is right there. 2 relays away?

Always assumed they lived somwhere near the persius veil and we are opposite forms of the galaxy... well our part of the galaxy competing. No wonder they ar epissed, We are right next to each other and we kick their collective religious extremists, slaver butts.

Oh, god. So they land on Zorya.

Now I can rest assured that Tali, Liara and Garrus will not die on starvation.

They will just be enslaved and raped by Space Pirates.
