Well, just checked the downed shuttle that was carrying the troops, responsible for taking down the hade cannon. i'm disappointed but the caution signs is there

Ah well, that just rules out that the sign itself was somehow a figment of the indoctrination process. It still looks to me like there is pattern with the child being shown next to the warning signs.

The annoying little eathkid/dreamkid/starkid is still the biggest piece of ''evidence'' that something is messing with Shepard's mind.. Unfortunately, this can only be elaborated if BW chooses to do so. ''Extended Ending''... I like BioWare but they treat the fans like little kids with this whole thing. Just tell us your plans so we actually can look forward to something.

EDIT: Oh, and I don't understand why the screen get's all weird with black stuff during the final conversation with TIM and Andy.. Hell, I don't understand anything that happens during the ending.. It felt like both me and Shepard got baked going into that whole thing.

I'm not discounting this s a hint. just thought it would have been great if the caution sign was exclusive to bieber's appearence. and i was hoping that i finally managed to contribute to this thread...well...

That's supposed to show how TIM is controlling you.

Another interesting little thing, the child model is named "..._GRD_..." (I dont remember the exact name, I'll post a screenshot later)
I think GRD stands for GUARDIAN, the name Bioware internally calls the starChild.
Which is interesting because when you name a file you usually do it accordingly to its main use, which in our case would mean that this model main purpose is to be the Guardian, not a child.
It seems that from the start Bioware considers him as the Guardian.

I always wondered about that name. Why call the boy like that if it never appears ingame. They could have named him Catalyst, just like he's called in the game! I don't get why they'd invent another name for no real purpose.

Another quick note about the 'husk sign' next to the kid. Just having a quick playthrough and throughout the game there are general warning signs about all kinds of hazards on doors, on the rooftops and on machinery. which I think goes to show that they made an effort to put the strange sign next to the kid.

Indeed. And don't forget the "oily shadows" dripping down the walls in the scene where Shep wakes up in the corridor full of corpses. One of the biggest pieces of evidence in IT's favour, in my humble.

Well the warning sign on the vent is still solid evidence, so don't be too disappointed! There's still a positive conclusion. Plus knowing is better than not having checked :)

There are similar caution signs on the Citadel Elevator right above the button and near the floors.

Which in itself is interesting, because TIM shouldn't have the ability to control you.

I can't remember exactly, but I thought he only found a way to interupt the control method Reapers used to control husks etc - not create his own indoctrination device he could use willy nilly on anyone.

That's the more important one by far IMO.  That sticker isn't a recycle because it's not found anywhere else in the game.  So the devs put that sticker in that one spot where it would make absolutely no sense whatsoever except for IT.

BW added it for an added layer of realism, to make the place feel Earth-like, esp. in a scene that was paraded before to the press. Anyway, wouldn't the electrical supply be damaged somewhat by the Reaper invasion? So it would be switched off, and so the boy could easily go in unharmed?

What's the point of indoctrination anyway if the current ending is to be taken by face value? Why would the godchild grant that ability to the Reapers he created? He just wanted robots that would make pew pew and kill civilisations.

Except.. maybe the kid is right and the created DO always rebel against their creators, and the reapers invented indoctrination on their own.

The trees in the dream are different assets and are specifically named Dream_tree_004 as an example.

The trees in the push to the beam are labeled london tree and presidium tree.

The Crucible changed his mind. He says it opened up new possibilities but he's unable to make the choice. Also he controls the reapers but didn't say he created them.

I think he does.. can anyone confirm/deny that?
Also I don't think you get what I'm saying.. I meant to ask why Reapers should have the power of indoctrination if their task is just to kill certain organics

@subastriss.
You're missing the point. IT sees this as a warning concerning vent boy. not the vent. so far, the sign only occurs in this scene and nowhere else. and it shows a flash strikimg a head (=brain damage=indoctrination)

The door still has some power, wasn't there a system on the desk that had power?

Also a second earlier the boy ran into that building with husks determined to get him and then a Reaper blew it up, and he had nay a scratch on him.

However, the sign itself doesn't make much sense to me - as why the hell would a duct have electricity running through it at all? And why not a hand and electrical warning? Why the head itself?

Every time that kid is involved, strange stuff is going on.

Not that sign. Those are a different one, one that appears dozens of times through the game. That one is a generic electrical warning. This one is a weird bolt-to-the-head one that appears nowhere else in the game. No. Where. Else. It's not a recycle, a special sign was made and put just next to that vent. One that depicts damage to the head.

Point: Missed. Epicly.

1. Why would a vent be electrified in the first place? Electricity goes through wires, not open space.
2. The electrical supply is damaged so that's why he's not getting fried, yet the door a couple feet away functions fine. 'kay.
3. That is not the standard electricity warning. There's a ton of electricity warning signs in the game. None of them show a bolt to someone's head. Why does this one?

And the trees in the crash scene are named dream trees. But then again, so are the ones in Sanctuary and such.

The whole warning sign thing does not seem big at first glance. but think about it. they had to deliberately omit, putting it anywhere else. and since there are sh**loads of warning signs plastered all over the game, it must be one hell of "coincidence" it's not popped up anywhere else (as of now)
