NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I hated ME2 on Insanity.
Mostly because I got halfway through my insanity playthrough, and randomly decided to do an N7 mission. The one where you protect that quarian from all the varren.
Its pretty much impossible to do that on insanity, and I stupidly had no saves from before I'd started the mission, so I had to go back and start my insanity playthrough over from the beginning.
Edit: Here is me totally hoping I wasnt going to have to restart my insanity run

What class?
I think i had to retry that mission 2 or 3 times as a soldier, mainly because of me underestimating how many varren would come at me in relation to my clip size.
I also had a simliar situation with the Zaeed loyalty mission, where for some reason i had not enough paragon points. Maybe i started that mission too late.
So my last save was like 3-4 hours back and i said "well, **** it.." and went for a angry run. Probably yelled at some random people on the way.

Man, the Paragon/Renegade system in ME2 sucked super hard.
Also, I guess I just suck concerning that N7 mission.
Granted, I suck in ME3, and find places to die where I literally shouldnt be able to, so I guess I'm just not that good at ME in general.

And thats not just a one time random bug. I've died there multiple times.

That goddamn Collector Ship mission! Right at the start where Harbinger swarms on you almost instantly!
The way I FINALLY did it was to use the Blackstorm and shoot it JUST before he turned. I was able to take out all but one of the Collectors, who had just a bit of health left. So, that's the story of how a pre order weapon saved my life.

Hey all. Playing through ME2, noticed something odd.
The weird-black-waviness we see in the Citadel when TIM is working his Mojo on Shep?
Same effect is used in ME2 when the colonists are being 'frozen' by the seeker swarms on Horizon.
Don't
have any scree shots, but the effect is localized around the colonists
the seekers are hitting. Don't recall seeing it mentioned earlier-
generally its discussed as being seen around Saren and TIM...
Oh, and it's nice to see this thread still going... I'm still lurking around every few daysnice work all.

Ah
much clearer. It's the same dark blur around the edges as from one, the
blur that occurs when a reaper is TAKING DIRECT CONTROL.

I always liked the Blackstorm trailer that Rooster Teeth made.
I never actually used the weapon though. I always had either the collector particle beam or the Cain.
Praetorians were always what screwed me over the most.
Speaking of which, when you look at the Collector forces, it seems like they'd be a pretty good multiplayer enemy to face. They have enough different types of units they could send at us.

Seems to have come to a lull right now. Before going to be I might replay the end just to check if I can see the trees in the reflection in the Crucible. Seems unlikely, but the cubemap is there, so worth a shot I suppose.

Insanity on ME1 and ME2 were true insanities. Now ME3 turned into a mediocre difficulty probably to appease casual gamers who think is to hard to put the time to become good at.
They said if I remember correctly "the new hardcore is normal"
I assumed that meant the new hardcore was insanity in me2, and the me3 insanity was going to be an epic sweat and blood tears playthrough.
What a joke, what a freacking joke. Most enemies dont even have protections. Most dont have powers to use against you.

Depending on your class, the game is either a lot harder, or so easy its ridiculous.
Multiple times on my Vanguard, I had to check just to make sure the game was still on insanity, because it was so easy, but I tend to get slaughtered on my adept on normal.

its only easy if you import a save... I was playing a fresh character just to see the differences in characters and it felt alot harder.... or maybe it was just me.

Which is why, personally, I'd say The Truth is probably right about ONE thing. I forsee a expansion featuring the Collectors, a couple of missions, something involving Javik, maybe an extension after the Battle for Earth, new weapons, a couple of new assets and a new multiplayer enemy.

Really? adepts are my easiest playthrough, biotic artillery 24/7.
Vanguards 2nd easiest
Sentinels
Infiltrator
Haven't played soldier nor engineer.
Vanguards and adepts just wreck. Warp /throw, charge /novalitions.

Nothing to do with IT just an annoying inconsistency with the dialogue of Vega, when you talk to him at the Embassies he says Liara told him what happen and when you talk to him on the Normandy for the first time he asks how it with with the councillors.
I got a better one. One time I went to talk to Garrus and he was getting a call telling him his family was okay. I waited for him to finish and then talked to him as usual. Asked him if he'd gotten any news on his family. He said no.

Well, since so many people here are German, I feel like I should ask something I've always wondered.
When I was a kid I lived in Germany for three years because my dad was stationed at Ramstein Air Force Base.
Does it make you guys mad that we have military bases in your country?
I know if Germany randomly decided to set up a military base in like, South Carolina or something, we wouldnt be ok with it. I always wondered if people in other countries felt the same about it.
I think it depends on the country. I'm American and I wouldn't really care if a clearly allied country had some bases near me. I wouldn't really see the point because American jets don't exactly need help. ... Though come to think of it, after we bet our future on the F-35 Bad Investment II maybe that'll change in a decade or two.

First playthrough was infiltrator. When I switched to Vanguard it was like the enemy bullet damage was turned up. I tripple checked the difficulty setting in case they changed but nope.
Sentinel was just awful for me though. Couldn't stand playing with it.
