Really? I had a blast with Sentinel. You can initiate biotic detonations with throw (which has, like a 1 sec recharge if you've got a light load). You can detonate almost anything. Stasis, Singularity, Pull, Dark Channel, Reave (I think), Warp. I just took Liara with me and detonated everyone. It makes Cerberus missions a blast. Turn a corner, see two soldiers talking. Singularity + Throw = Boom! No more soldiers. It's also a good way to work on Banshees. Those things wrecked me as an Infiltrator.

One of these days I'm gonna try Vanguard in ME3 (didn't like it in ME2), how do you detonate biotics as a vanguard?

if you were taking any damage at all as a vanguard, you were doing it wrong ;)

I only died once or twice that I can remember with my Sentinel on Insanity, using Defense Matrix as my bonus power. Since it stacks with Tech Armor, I was all but invulnerable.

Comparatively speaking, I must have died 50+ times on ME2 insanity, and that was even using the power maxing exploit.

ME 1 I was a soldier, in ME 2 i played a soldier, vanguard, sentinel. sentinel was hard on normal on me2. Then in ME3 I was a Vanguard and a Sentinel. Right now I'm playing my worst palythrought as a vanguard so it goes pretty fast. But holy **** my Sentinel playthrough raped everything, incinerate/ overload took out everything, while I had a Vindicator with armor piercing rounds. In all honestly I have never tried an insanity palythrough. I think I'll go do that right now.

Ok. I gotta say, Banshee's are straight up bull**** on multiplayer. The banshee is facing my teammate, and away from me, so I charge and nova her back back and then suddenly she somehow grabs me and I'm teleported in front of her?

Then later, standing on the opposite side of a hacking zone from a banshee, and suddenly I am teleported right in front of her as she grabs me?

Freakin banshees, man

I dont know the meaning of this , but I thought this is something we all should be knowledgeable about .

I've seen both recently, and while the Collector ship body pile DOES have bodies in Pheonix armor in it, it is NOT the same as the Citadel body pile, which consists of NOTHING but Onyx and Pheonix armor, all with the same face.

Well it wasn't because it was hard. I just didn't like the powers.

They may not be the same exact assets, but it definitely fits the theme of the citadel being comprised entirely of elements from his memory.

Oh I'm not disagreeing they share probably intentional similarities, but  they are also unique in and of themselves, and designed to be VERY wrong, and subtly disturbing.

No, none of us are really expecting to hear anything at all up until the DLC comes out. Fine with me. This kind of theorizing and anticipation may only come once in a lifetime!

Nah I see it happening again by a movie or a really good book. The reason I left out video games is the video game industry as decline alot since the shift of mostly MP in every game and the lack of story telling in most games.

Low EMS theory on this:

Scene with Normandy crash ends.

Shepard dies from injuries.

Which is why we didn't see him after that Normandy scene, in every ending except Destroy (high EMS). Just a theory.

Fair enough. The issue I have with Bioware is that if you playing SP only you can't get 4,000 EMS (and there is a thread about that also).

You don't have to play multiplayer.  Just use the save editor and set one of your war assets to 20,000 or so (Think I set the first one, which was something with the Alliance Forces). Worked for me. Received 20,000 EMS.

Your multiplayer war assets are not found in the save file, so there's no way to get banned or anything. They said modding SP is fine, just don't mod the multiplayer.

I have a trainer, but that shouldn't be factored as Bioware stated you can get all of the endings via SP only. Also I use the trainer to be able to scan the planets and not have the reapers bother me.

I think Bioware's stance on it is, anything that gives anyone an unfair advantage in multiplayer, such as messing with the leaderboard, giving extra credits at the end of a match (eg. 1 million for one match), or modding a pistol which instagibs things on Gold.

By changing the sound channels from the default of 32 to 64 is considered modding, but it only results in better sound quality and doesn't affect anyone's multiplayer experience in any way.

Yea you can't mod that gives you an unfair advantage in MP, but Bioware lied to SPer gamers that you don't need anything outside of SP. It wouldn't take Bioware less than a few mintues to change the rating % from 50 to 60.

@ everyone talking about classes...

The first time I played ME1, I went vanguard. But in ME1, everything except soldier was unplayable for me. And then after that....well shepherd was a soldier. In my head. I didn't want her to be anything else.

That galactic readiness is a multiplier of sorts. For example 50 TMS * 50% GR= 25 EMS. So if you change one of your war assets to 20,000 and don't touch multiplayer at all, 10,000 EMS is more than enough to get the best ending.
