Yeah, just putting it out there.  You know, lots of speculation. ;)

It still was a great mission and I'm glad that Mordin song at the moment of his death.

Mordin singing doesn't happen for everyone right? I'm pretty sure I've yet to see it. And I've played through paragon twice.

I think you had to get him to sing in ME2.

Yeah, I've heard that is what has to happen.

I couldn't stop laughing when I heard him sing for the first time in ME 2.

or that rhym he does in me3 after you rescue the female krogan.

ahh mordin...  :crying:

Yeah, I'm not ashamed to admit that every time I see that scene I shed tears.  Very manly tears, but still tears.

Watching that sence broke me down for a few mintues. This is one of the many reason that I hold one to the IT for the end of Mass Effect 3.

There were quite a few place where I teared up (manly tears I might add). Mordin's death, Thane's death, Grunt's near-death, defeat of the quarian fleet, saying last goodbyes, especially to grunt, liara, garrus (especially garrus, meeting in heavenly bar ). Because of scenes like these ME3 would reamin a memorable game for me, bad ending or not.

The ones that got me were the deaths or near deaths.  Mordin, Thane, Grunt, those really got to me.

Edit: I might have cried during some of the goodbyes, too.  I can't remember, although it wouldn't surprise me at all.

I didnt cry during Mordin's death, because I wasnt sad.

Not that I dont like Mordin, I freakin love him. I was just happy that he finally got to correct what he always felt was his greatest wrong. I knew he was old for a Salarian, and likely to die soon anyways, so I just was too happy for him to cry.

Now, Thane, I cried like a baby there.

Also, when I played my evil renegade Shepard, and shot Mordin in the back to stop him curing the genophage? THAT made me cry, and made me feel like a horrible human being.

Also, thats one of only like two times you dont use the Predator as your pistol in a cutscene.

You use a Carnifex.

Where'd you get your first Carnifex?

You shot him with the gun he gave you.

The gun he gave you because he TRUSTED you.

I know I've said this before, but I find it just gut-wrenchingly horrible everytime I see it.

To me it felt that Mordin still wanted to live, while in the other way he resigned to death.

This has been nagging at me for awhile, I could be wrong, but wouldn't you go to the citadels master control unit in the council chamber to open the citadels arms? I know there could be a secondary terminal for it, but since there was no mention of it, well.....

That and tali's romance.

I liked Tali's romance in ME2, but it was somewhat disappointing in ME3.

Honestly, they were all kind of disappointing in ME3.

Liara's romance from LotSB is still my favorite romance scene in any of the three games.

I'm sorry but that's a quite a childish view of it. We kill billions of micro-organisms every day by doing things like sitting down or clapping our hands. The reapers do not regard us as life equal to them, therefore killing us is not "evil". How many times have you killed an insect for no other reason that it was annoying you?

You are applying our moral perspective to them. Even if the ONLY reason for the cycle is to allow Reaper reproduction it simply makes them animals that need to kill to survive, just like everyone else. No good villian thinks they are evil, and Mass Effect has made it a point not to do black and white morality.

Don't get me wrong, they must be stopped, but I won't claim it's because we are "good" and they are evil. They must be stopped because there are trillions more of us and honestly, we want to live.

Micro-organisms? Seriously?! The difference is bacteria aren't capable of thought or feeling. Likewise it's highly unlikely insects are capable of any real thought, let alone emotion. They're pretty much a set of reactions designed to keep them alive long enough to procreate. Insects are to us what your laptop is to EDI. There's a reason there's thousands of animal rights groups and nobody gives a damn if you smack a misquito. Because if it's not sentient, it's no different than a plant.

Again, you are applying our standards as universal. Reapers do not see us as intelligent, or feeling, or life worth preserving. They see us as we see insects. You are assuming Reapers see humans the way we see ourselves.

not to mention that in alot of shamanic cultures, plants are actually considered the MOST conscious forms of life, and humans are actually at the bottom.  so it isn't even a generally human perspective when you think about it like that.

Primitive cultures also thought the sun would get angry if they didn't worship it.

During my contemplations for the Reapers existence (before ME3), I would often come to the analogy of how a home owner would mow their lawn.  They would design the lawn so that the grass would grow along the paths that they desired.  Then they leave the grass alone to grow within the confines of the lawn.  Every once and a while, they would return with a lawnmower and restore the order to the chaos that the lawn had entered.  There is no practical reason for having or maintaining such a lawn, but it is done regardless.  The Reapers are not able to explain to us why they exterminate advanced civilizations for the same reason why a lawnmower could not tell the grass why it is time for the lawn to be mowed.  I know it is not a perfect analogy but it would have the reapers not need a reason for doing what they did.

When playing ME1 I had no idea about savegame transfer, and during that standoff at virmire I was fully expecting to be forced into killing Wrex, but somehow I ended up not shooting him, don't even remember which dialogs I chose. All my other friends ended up killing him xD

I liked when you talked to Conrad and he says he doesnt have any family.

Shep: "What about your wife?"
Conrad: "Oh, right."
Shep: "Conrad, do you even have a wife?"
Conrad says "Yes. Yes of course I do. Absolutely.... Well, ok no."
Shep: "Conrad, I swear, if you have some sort of weird shrine to me, I'm going to be very upset."
Conrad: "Oh no no no. Its very tasteful. Just a picture and some candles."

I also liked when Conrad forgot what questions he'd already asked from his dialogue wheel, and asked the same question twice in a row because "I like to ask all the questions I can, and sometimes I forget the ones I've asked already."

Well, I just made an unfortunate discovery. Remember I mentioned how I was just going through Tuchanka again? Well, as it turns out, I forgot to listen to all of Matriarch Aethyta's dialogue with Liara. So, I have to go back to the save I have before the mission and I'm going to have to replay all of the Genophage cure mission again. Those Ravager encounters really SUCK on Insanity.

Here's a video of him singing.

To get it you have to have talked to him enough to hear him sing in ME2.
