Fair enough, it is good to hear what the other side (you profess not to be, but you know what I mean) has to say.

I try to look at both sides. I see both being plausible through some intellectual honesty. I just lean toward one because I think it may have more logic and evidence on its side. Not completely commited but not a zealot either. You wouldn't find me insulting someone for having a differing interpretation. Just being reasonable and diplomatic I guess. But that's niether here nor there.

"I just lean toward one because I think it may have more logic and evidence on its side"- So you weren't neutral, but protested innocence, well it was pretty obvious anyway. I can see why there is a lot of rage on both sides and see why you tried to distance yourself from it, but you don't need to lie about your position (even though it undermine a lot of your points against me) but anyway, it is interesting

No, no, I will NOT allow you two to start again.

Trust me, I'm going now :) Leave you all to do what you do

It's just a friendly exchange. We're not arguing.

I really like South Carolina. Actually, that's not true. I really like the Charleston area. I have a lot of family there. It's such a beautiful city.

Yeah, I live in Charleston. Charleston at least seems better than the rest of SC.

Balderdash, just saying balderdash does not make one sound fancy.  (Puts on British accent)  You have to say balderdash in a British accent to sound fancy.

Core blimey, you're right old chap. Balderdash isn't balderdash without a little British.

We can't contact him!

Our forummancy must be on cooldown. We got to hold the line until Shepard GBGriffin arrives.

Damnit!

I'm almost out of ammo and heavily wounded, and they're expecting me to hold the line until reinforcements arrive?!
Bah, I don't get paid enough for this!

You could say my nuetrality is nebulous. I think you want to put me in a "gotcha" moment, but I'm just able to compartmentalize my opinions one way or the other when trying to discuss something that involves the method of argument rather than the argument itself. In that sense, I was truly trying to be neutral.

But that means...

It doesn't matter, good debate :)

Wait.

People still think that the indoctrination is true? Even after PAX? After Bioware announced that they were "personnalizing" the endings? And all that without mentionning this insane theory?

Seriously?

Denial is a really strong emotion but common. This is getting really silly.

He reminds me more of one of my earlier classmates.

She always ended all her sentences with crap like "PWNED" or "buuurned" as if she thought she was cool.

I know many believe in both. Its my experience that the poorer the region, the less likely any kind of rational thought is acceptable if there is a chance it contradicts with the widely held belief.

We can believe what we like, and so can you :-) So if you're here to try and make people feel bad, it's not required. Besides, you're probably better than that tactic.

I guess you're right.

I have family living in Milton, Massachusetts, and they tell me that the bible isn't taken as literally there as it is in the southern states.

All of this sounds so similar to UFO's believers. You have the same tendecy to deny reality and ignore any information that goes agaisn't what you believe in.

I can't quite figure out if it's amazing or really sad.

And don't get me wrong, i'm polish by birth, and poland will never forget these years.
But i don't think mengioning it over and over and over again, everytime someone hears germany is the right thing to do.

It wasn't because I heard Germany and wanted to make a WW2 reference that I wanted to mention them, I made a toungeincheek reference to Germany's ability to foster fanaticism in reference to a previous post that said Germany doesn't have religious fanaticism.
