What about the endings layout?

What about that? Written by Mac Walters, lead writer of ME3.

Oh dear god I am glad you edited your post to include that picture.

Yknow, where they mention the first matrix movie.

"You take the blue pill – the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill – you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes" - Morpheus.

Its almost like how we say the blue ending means you're indoctrinated, and the red end represents waking up from it.

But no, we're the ones in denial.

And really, how can you ignore something like the "Final Hours" app ? There is one single mention of "indoctrination" with Shepard. They actually considered it but scrapped it because it presented too many issues with controls.

I know if I was Bioware, and I was trying to keep IT as a surprise for when it is actually released, I'd probably not let the producers of a third party app see my plans for it.

I mean whether or not IT is true, its fairly obvious Bioware didnt let the Final Hours app people see their future plans and put them in the app.

What future plans? Casey Hudson went on record and stated that he was not interested in games taking place after ME3.

Future plans doesnt just mean games after ME3. Could also mean DLC taking place before the ME3 ending, and despite the fact that they've talked about DLC multiple times, the app didnt show anything about their DLC plans

You must be kidding me now. What does the matrix have to do with anything? And why are you ignoring the Synthesis ending? It's green, where is the green pill?!

Hey, good quote from Morpheus. I didn't think to taking the Matrix comparison so literal. Cool.

You're just screwing with me right? What does the matrix have to do with anything? Its mentioned right on that page you presented as definitive proof against IT.

Suddenly the page is less valid when something on it could possibly point to IT?

Typical.

I believe the Indoctrination Theory is "plausible" until Bioware dismisses it completely, or at least starts hinting at something else. Some of the evidence we've collected isn't always the best, some of it can hardly be called evidence, some of it can be written off as coincidence.

But how many coincidences does it take to make a pattern? How much of the significant evidence (i.e. the dreams, the child, Shepard's breath, how to attain Shepard's breath) can be interpreted as indoctrination, and not as something else? How much of the minor evidence (your squadmate's comments on the citadel, Vega hearing a hum on the Normandy, Shepard's cybernetic eyes looking exactly like TIM's during the blue ending) can point to it? What else can they point to?

I want to say there's around 5-10 things we've found that can point to either Indoctrination or coincidence or a third option if anyone knows one I'd like to hear it.

If I say something stupid on a forum, and claim 'Oh wait, turns out I was actually hacked!' no one ever believes me.

But if Bioware says it, it must be true? Maybe my trust in Bioware has been eroded from all their false statements about the game before launch, but still.

I didn't say it MUST be true, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Especially since it makes no sense for him to have done it. If he did do it, then what good is lying about it going to do? His superiors will know he really did it because what was posted wasn't exactly common knowledge, if true. Meanwhile, the people he wanted to get the message out to, the fans, no longer take it seriously even though his would-be career suicide would still be pretty damn real. Lastly if the 2 top guys really operated like that, shutting out the rest of the team and force-feeding their own incredibly terrible ideas, then why was the rest of the game, hell, the rest of the series so damn good? The type of people that tell everyone else to ****** off and then do a horrible job themselves aren't the type of people that only do that self-centered crap once at the end of a 6 year project. No, no, this whole thing smells fishier than that asari who refuses to bathe.

This is my view also. Part of me says, yeah there's a lot of coincidences and patterns. But another part of me says, Human beings look for patterns. We're wired that way.

I'm ambivalent some days more than others. But I can see it being perfectly plausible.

It wasn't because I heard Germany and wanted to make a WW2 reference that I wanted to mention them, I made a toungeincheek reference to Germany's ability to foster fanaticism in reference to a previous post that said Germany doesn't have religious fanaticism.

Look, I was talkning about religion! I don't know about the rest of Germany, but here in Schleswig-Holstein there isn't any religious fanaticism, at least not where I live!

The only thing I'm actually worried about here is that the german government isn't funding our danish schools equally as their own Schools!

Then again, that is widely seen as discrimination against the danish minority here!

I know you weren't talking about religion. I was just attempting some dark humor. I meant no offense. I live in a similar area that sees education as a low priority. Our political leaders in Tennessee ran on reducing the budget by slashing education, the crucial backbone to any society. Again, I meant no disrespect. Funny. He mentions the ending of the first matrix. Which, if you recall ends as Neo is now the "One". Which could be a big issue with the machines. It's the dawn of a new era for "Earth". Strangely enough, that's exactly how ME3 ends!? Could it be that when he specified "ending", that's all Mac Walters meant?

But of course, you can dig all you want and make every single link you can think of. You all seem absolutely certain of the Indoctrination theory. But that will push you to find clues where there are none. You want the IT to be real. If Bioware won't confirm it, then you shall find every little scrap that might link everything.

Like some kind of giant conspiracy where everything is planned and Bioware is just waiting for the right moment to set you free with the truth.

Very true, maybe we're just grasping at straws (emerrrgency induction ports, there no one needs to fix it) out of some sense of denial. Maybe we're only seeing what we want to see, BUT there are a Lot of us seeing the patterns. Although, I would like show all this to someone indifferent about the ending and see what they think.

Yeah, but you leaders aren't actively discriminating only one part of your school, system are they?

What happened here is that in 2010, the government decided to cut their fundings to the danish schools, not the german ones, by 15%. A few schools have already been locked down because of this.

It is discrimination if one school group gets more money than the other one, simply because of the nationality!

Personally I've always been split on whether IT was intended as the original idea, but I like it as it makes more sense (to me at least) than the endings we got.

I'm not trying to force anyone else to believe it, and I dont go around insulting people who dont, yet I'm constantly bombarded by people insulting me and saying I'm stupid for believing it.

If you would like to engage in a productive discussion, then by all means, hang around.

If you're here just to tell me how wrong I am for believing in IT, then kindly ****** off.

Sorry to hear that.

The money is being cut more from schools that have a higher ratio of African American students. I'm not certain if that is similar to your circumstances but I'm trying to empathize with you as it is horrible what Germany has done.

South Carolina.... Racists, bigots, and God fearing Bible thumpers.

Fun fact, only 32 percent of the population in South Carolina believes in evolution. They're also statistically one of the most obese, religious, and are most intellectually incapable to learn modern education programming. A must in the near future to compete in the open market.

If I were you, I would move far from South Carolina. I would suggest urban Virginia. It would be a short hop to that state for you, and the people sound like they would gel with you quite well.

While I am an atheist, I disagree with your statement about christianity being a poison and slowly fading away.

If that is true, how come it is the largest religious group in the world, and that it's constantly growing?

Not only that, christianity isn't a poison. It helps a lot of people interpret the world in a way that obviously makes sense to them! Who are you to say that they're all deluded and stupid?

And an other thing going towards christianity: the whole western system of law and morals are based off the new testament!

Get your facts straght before you state complete idiocies!

Oh yeah, and what was that you call it? Oh right, "Checkmate."

Nah, it's not the country itself that condones it, it's the leaders of this particular state! :)
But I'm not really worrying anymore, because in two weeks, the states government will most likely change, as it's both germans and danes alike protesting against this.

Needless to say, the current ministry (a conservative party) will likely all be replaced with the socialdemocratic party! :)

People get out of the religious and political debates/discussions. This is not the thread for that unless it pertains to the thread's topic.

I know how those types of discussions can turn into nothing but flames and wind up locking threads. So keep that in mind, alright?

Its like the religious zealots are purposely trolling anyone not agree with their dim world view

It's kinda more relaxed where I live.

A lot of christians here actually believe in both christianity AND evolution!

I know many believe in both. Its my experience that the poorer the region, the less likely any kind of rational thought is acceptable if there is a chance it contradicts with the widely held belief.

Hope I helped.

<3:lol:

Christianity is a poison slowly fading away:

Checkmate.

How... laughable.

Please, save yourself some embarrassment and actually use factual statistics instead of the prejudices that preside inside your feeble mind.

Every argument I make is coated in fact. Always.

Right now the U.S. which is arguably one of the most religious first world super powered nations today has seen a rapid decline in religion...

One in 5 Americans identify as nonreligious, atheist, or agnostic.

30 percent of the U.S. population now consists of non-believers.

This generation is less God fearing than any other in existence.

I offer more reading materials below on why this is happening:

Learn to read, or better yet... don't. You're better off finding religion i feel, fairy tales seem to suit you....

Checkmate with facts. Always.

Your prejudice and statements that I should believe in fairytales tells everything about what kind of person you are.

I do not believe in religion, however that doesn't mean one should not respect their beliefs and opinions.

However, I can see that arguing with you is pointless, so I will kindly take my leave.
