To be honest I think that Shepard should have a chance to be reunited with his, or her love interest because Shepard needs some peace for once in his, or her life but with his or her love interest raising a family on earth, ranchor, or anywhere else in the galaxy,

Ranchor? like Rancor? SHEP IS NOT A JEDI! :blink:

Yes I know you meant Rannoch, but still

Yes he, or she is biotic force!

I have a question that I want to hear your guys' thoughts on:

Why do you think that Anderson's radio cuts out into static after he tells you that he's going ahead to the control panel without you..... I have always thought that was odd

I wanted to add to this because I also find this very odd:

when the door to the hallway your in opens, you can overlook the the entire area because it is so high up. At this height you can even see the contol panel, but you obviously can't see Anderson. He seems to magically appear in front of the panel when you get up there

Still think they did the ending as it was to test the true fan's loyalties, and to see if the true ending would be worth their time, and also to let the fan's get to tell other people about how the game was and should you buy it.

they've certainly tested my loyalty. Not a smart move in my opinion.

very true they really should have thought it a lot harder about testing or loyatys, but if you think the once who say th ending is okay are the once who don't give a care about ME story line much more for the action of it.

I consider myself a loyal fan who played all three of the games. I missed out of course because I'm a console gamer and I didn't have an xbox 360.. but I finally picked up the first game.. and then beat it. and then bought mass effect 2 day 1 and mass effect 3 day 1. Enjoyed all of them... that ending is just insanity though.

Just bumping my own post from earlier today, I think its pretty solid IT evidence.
I did get one response saying it was old news, but I did some searching and couldn't find any other mentions of it.

I was looking through some save game editing plot flags and noticed that the line for End001 (Destroy) is different than End002 and End003. Destroy Sets 3 PlotIDs for the future.Not only do Synth and Control not set 3Ids. They do not even set 1.

End001,
PlotIDSet=(20894,19290,19286),
PlotIDClear=(),
PlotInts=((ID=10185,V=26),(ID=10303,V=25)),
PlotCond=())

End002,
PlotIDSet=(),
PlotIDClear=(),
PlotInts=((ID=10202,V=21)),
PlotCond=())

End003,
PlotIDSet=(),
PlotIDClear=(),
PlotInts=((ID=10203,V=22)),
PlotCond=())

I don't understand exactly how the game engine uses these PlotIDs, but from a layman’s point of view it looks like it's either;
Pick destroy, and have a future, or Synth/Control and not have a future.
Bioware does not even bother to track which one you picked if it wasn't destroy.
As far as they are concerned synthesis & control are the same thing. = Indoctrinated.

Its pretty interesting.... and I would consider it evidence although it could just be coincidence (IDN yet).

But this basically means that the game mechanics only recognize two choices.... destroy.. or not destroy... which i find wierd.

Raising a family on a rancor is very inadvisable.

You know what would be funny after the choice you make and the credits finish. Your Shepard appears before you on the screen and tell"s you " WHY DID YOU LET ME CHOOSE ANY OF THE THREE CHOICES YOU A******".

YOU: "But I thought that what's you wanted Shepard

Shepard:" NO YOU PIYJACK OF A SIDE KICK, I WANTED TO LIVE MY LIFE AFTER THE WAR WAS OVER, BUT NOW I AM GOING TO WATCH MY GIRLFRIEND LIVE OUT HER LIFE WITH ALL MY CREW MATES GOING AT HER UNTIL SHE DIES!''

YOU: OH.

Well yeah, I think he/she gets up, more pissed off and determined than ever. Remember how one of the characters ( I think Garrus) says the reapers killed Shepherd once with the collectors and all it did was ****** him/her off? Yeah, I think Shepherd would have murder on his/her mind and the Reapers will finally know true fear. :D

Not really, but yes that should be true as well.
Basically the PlotIDs are used so the game knows what you have done in the past.

A list of all that I know about is available here - http://pastebin.com/zv8mxcxs

My point was that IF there is any post game DLC, your save file will only know if you chose destroy or not. It doesn't seem to care or differentiate between Synthesis and Control.

I interpret this to mean that since both Synthesis and Control end up with Shepard indoctrinated. The save file doesn't care what path you took to get there.
