Here's a thought about the Matrix ending. Neo dies trying to save humanity, then comes back to life and proceeds to kick the ever lovin' **** out of the machines (agents).

Shepard "dies" while trying to save humanity due to Harbinger's laser blast, then comes back to life after the destroy ending (assuming your EMS is high enough). Will she then go on to kick the ever lovin' **** out of Harbinger and his gang of misfit robots? Sweet Jesus, I hope so.

Although its a little cliche (but at this stage, Shepard is a legend, so we're beyond that) - I would love to see indoctrination theory as Shepard being the first person to ever beat indoctrination.

OMG, that was the first thing I thought when I got the Breath scene. Shepherd is the first to defy the Reapers and spit in their face. That's practically a miracle/saint-like.

Since we're talking of savegames now, I'd like to shamelessly point out my own (pointless?) discovery. There's an invisible, unloadable savegame created after you finish the game called LegendSave.pcsav, which is, the same as the autosave on normandy you get after finishing the game.
Thoughts?

Uh, hello? He was dead for two years and was brought back to life. Shepherd crossed Christ-like a long time ago...

That doesn't make him Christ-like. Transcending death was a semi-common part of Eastern/Near Eastern Fables.

As I said, the developer drew several strong parallels, but Shepard is fundamentally different from Christ. He, in numerous ways, is more akin to a Greek hero/pseudo diety like Heracles.

Although I enjoy the comparison..

Christ had 12 disciples before being crucified.

Judas betrayed jesus........................... do we se that happen in ME no!

Illusive man or Udihna. Take your pick. ;)

Neither TIM or Udina were one of his "disciples" !!!!!!!!!!!!:P

I have it! Joker told the Collectors where to find you in ME2 prologue, that's why we see him fleeing with the Normandy post ME3! He's Judas!

I'm kidding, of course, but gosh, what if.

If anything, Joker would be Saint John

I have a question regarding the game saves, during the citadel scenes I have noticed replayed the game does an automatic save several times during the TIM conversation scenes, why would those go into effect at those cinematic scenes and conversation points? Maybe a dumb question but I noticed that watching clips of the scenes being played over and over again.

From what I understand. To get TIM to eat a bullet like Saren did requires specific conversation events to occur.
I'm guessing the game is saving the path of your conversation with TIM so it knows if it can give you the final Paragon/Renegade convo options or not.

Just a guess.

Exactly! this is what I'm saying.

That is really all I want out of the ending.  I want to see Shepard and Co. take on Harbinger and defeat him in some fashion, and then have the chance to either die a hero in a manner that makes at least a tiny bit of sense, or win the day and go back to your LI.  That's it.  It doesn't have to even make total sense, just a little.  At this point I want emotional satisfaction way more than I want intellectual satisfaction - although I would obviously like to have both!:D

Without indoctrination, opens up a world of possible fronts against the Reaper. The ability to study them in more detail etc.

Shepard beating indoctrination certainly wouldn't be the only unprecedented thing she accomplished!

This is apparently what the game reads from when you start a NewGame+ with the same re-imported character.

No it fits great. They have matrix 1 ending in their notes. Shepherd is already practically beyond human in everyone's eyes. Even to the Reapers, he/she has become more of a force of nature.

Jesus was also tempted by the devil in the desert. Starchild.

A good writer takes avantage of tropes people are already familiar with, and then tweaks them and makes them their own.

Maybe its the one the game looks at for establishing what to carry over into a New Game + character?

(Nope I guess not, just checked there is a NewGamePlusSave.pcsav in there as well.)

There is a seperate NewGamePlusSave.pcsav for that. This one is different from both the postgame autosave and the newgameplus save.
