Hence..catalyst is full oft. hence you can't believe in what he says. Did you see the geth dying in destroy? I didn't

Just read the previous pages...you'll understand his reaction

I know that people are actually passionate when it comes to defend or "debunk" the IT. But we should keep a cool head and don't turn to fanatics. Because then, there is no possible discussion anymore...

I found the IT very seductive, or at least more coherent than the cr***y ending we got.
But I always keep in mind that ME3 was made for a large audience... How many of us would have figured out the IT (if it's proven true) without Internet and forums ?
How many of us are just following the move, cause almost everything is better than the Starbrat and his circular logic ?
Why Bioware would have given us such an ambiguous ending ? Why torturing the mind of so many players ?

In synthesis relays are also destroyed (I really don't know why - Catalyst said there would be a union of synthetics and organics not destruction like in red ending)

Starchild say that no matter what you do, "releasing the energy of the crucible will end the cycle, but it will also destroy the mass relays."

So, no matter what you do, the mass relays are destroyed.

I saw that in destroy that EDI didn't come out of Normandy. And she did in all other endigs.

No need to be aggressive. I'm just giving my opinion and didn't say the IT sucks. Or you just don't like people who think differently ?

I show people the same respect they show us. You tell us we're "discrediting ourselves" with evidence you don't like, such as Shepard's eyes turning exactly like TIM's (which the comics established happened after contact with a Reaper artifact that was huskifying people). If you want to discuss the evidence and provide some counterpoints, that's great. We welcome a civil debate of evidence. But that post seriously came off as more "my opinion = fact, what's wrong with you guys?" that most of the IT opponents posting lately have. If I'm mistaken, I apologize for getting off on the wrong foot, but that was certainly the vibe I got from "discrediting ourselves".

My first post may have sound arrogant. I apologize if it was the case.

Ok, seems like I've missed this moment. But when I saw the Control Ending relay just released its energy, there were no shown that it's destroyed like in other endings.

Not necessarily. If you assume that they ran out of time and/or have to change the ending in the last minute (possibility of leaked script), then the whole Godchild story makes somehow "sense".
And the breathing-sequence is just to say to the fans "Be happy ! your Shep has survived !"

It makes somehow sense? You're talking about the whole circular logic?

Anybody get a good look at Shepard's eyes when they pick control or synthesis with full renegade?

I just wanted to post these links as they may help with evidence of Shepard being in London during the breath scene.

I played with the levels on the breath scene pic to lighten up the scene as it was very dark. The concrete here in the scene is identical to the london concrete in a previous scene, even down to the markings, lines, etc. Just wanted to show the comparison.

Now compare those in the rubble image with the size of the dog tag, they are either very small pipes or that's one huge dog tag.

No. About its presence on the citadel. I'll never buy the "Synthetics will always kill organics..." logic, they just came up with it because of the leaked script and they had to fill the gap and didn't have much time left.
In my opinion, it should have been Harbinger explaning the danger of the dark energy (on the Citadel or somewhere else, I don't know)

One thing has always disturbed about the Prothean VI on Thessia. Not that it couldn't detect that Shepard is indoctrinated, but its whole explanation of the cycles and its supposition that the Reapers are maybe controlled by a superior power. I always thought it has been the introduction to the existence of the Starbrat.
I already posted about it in other forums, but never got any feedback though...

1) I don't think this is important. It doesn't matter if you've figured out the IT or not, the Extended Cut DLC will presumably explain it clearly in-game, so those who didn't figure out IT before the DLC will still get the same benefit.

2) Two aspects to this. On the one hand, the whole idea of the IT is that it's supposed to be confusing, because we as players are being indoctrinated too. The eventual reveal of the indoctrination would have a far lesser effect if it were obvious in-game all along.

On the other hand, I can't agree with the way BioWare have strung the player base along since release. They've treated us pretty appallingly with all the enigma, double-speak and, frankly, self-contradictions. I think even the most patient BioWare fans are getting pretty fed up with it now.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I snipped the quoted section.

When I picked the destroy ending, I saw EDI,Liara and Joker come out, so I don't get why it's said she dies in the destroy ending.

Space magic, perhaps? :wizard::wizard::wizard::wizard:

Those won't compare because they are Geth cables not reaper cables. If you want a good comparison, watch this video.

Wait you got EDI in Destroy? Can you replicate it and record it? What was your EMS?

Yup.

In both synthesis and control, Shepard's eyes always turn into blue, indoctrinated eyes.
I've got a full-on renegade and tested it with her, and the eyes change in both endings before she gets dissolved.

1) I think it DOES matter. They didn't have to make it obvious all along the game. The IT would have been fantastic, if the truth is revealed, RIGHT AFTER the player made his choice. Otherwise the effect of such a twist-ending is flawed...

2) I agree. The IT has to be confusing during the game. But the end should have been clear about it. It should have been no room for doubt about it anymore...

My EMS was about 7200, and I saw EDI get out of the Normandy.

I think that it's determined who gets out of the Normandy based on your interaction level with certain characters, and I know I'm not the only one who saw EDI get out of the Normandy in destroy.

I figured the interaction has a lot to do with it. Much like how Cortez dies if you don't talk to him but if you talk to him enough he survives. I'm going to have to get my EMS higher then. I have about 5400 though I've played some MP it might be higher.

Also, doesn't the Starchild consider Shepard herself to be a synthetic, technically? (Sure that this has been touched on in the past 1600+ pages, but bear with me.)

If that's the case, how come the Destroy All Synthetics option is the only one where Shepard survives?

True that would have been better, but before this PR nightmare happened, EA fully intended to make you $$$ for it.

Believeing IT doesn't mean you have to believe EA/Bioware didn't **** this up.
