When is ME3 coming out in Japan? 15th? We need some clarification from BioWare on this topic.

Back to the hallucination theory: Even the Normady being lost on a peaceful planet is something that comes from Shepard's mine. Liara said that to my femshep in the cabin before they storm the IM's base. It is either foreshadowing or....

Quick thought before I pass out as it's pretty late here in Reaper town (the Vancouver region). Has anyone had EDI in the party and done the kill all synths ending? If she comes out of the ship then we really know something's jacked up. At the very least the kid was lying through his digital teeth.
Used her a lot throughout the game, she comes out in both of my other endings, but does not come out on the destroy ending. This doesn't really prove or disprove anything though, as Shep is still dreaming at the time he sees all of these images.

The "breathe" scene is not the secret option and neither is stargazer. You can get both scenes regardless if you importt or not. i know the guide states there is secret ending, but I am wondering if the guide was put out before they finished the game, or before they decided to change something.

The IGN guide mentions this too. It says nothing about the secret ending though. It only mentions that you have to play again.

Reminds me of the iPhone game. If you die you've got three options: Continue? 'Yes', 'No' and 'Store'.
Made me giggle then sigh.

Don't know if this is a bug, wishful thinking or what. But before the mission to attack TIM's base, 3 new systems appear on the Galaxy map, you can't enter them though and they have no names.

Well I persuaded TIM to shoot himself and I destroyed the reapers. My EMS was like 6900. But I still don't got the scene
How did you get TIM to shoot himself? I had full repuation and about 5.5k EMS :S
Just choose all paragon options in the scene when prompted?
The finial option was blocked out
it is strange but on my first playthrough i could select last paragon option and tim shot himself, but then i realized i need to play multiplayer to get "breath" ending, so i get readiness to 100% and play the last few missions again and then suddenly i couldnt choose that option.. however it is still possible to shot tim with renegade action showed on the screen and save anderson.

Pretty sure thats just to show the Reapers continued presence throughout the galaxy. Before you launch the assault on Earth the galaxy map is covered with them.

More or less right, yes. As I remember it the line was roughly "A lot of room for a small ship to get lost out there," whilst looking at the stars. I'm not sure that comes up unless you romance her though?

Do remember that if your EMS is low enough, right after you get hit by the laser you'll see the bodies of your squad mates.
My EMS was quite low and I never saw my squad-mates at this point. But I doubt that means much.

I think I had at least one Reaper invaded system I couldn't access before the Thessia mission and a couple more before the Cerberus base mission. There are also node systems where you transfer from relay to relay that you cannot visit.
Probably future content hooks that were somehow left visible in the main game.

I don't think it's a bug. I think it's supposed to represent regions of space that the reapers have taken over that you can't visit, just to show the advance of the reapers. After the cerberus base and before earth, every system (except Sol) is like that.Maike91 wrote...

By the way, no big review site has talked about this other than that blog we got on IGN. Could it be that they're on the loop? It would explain the critical acclaim the has had and the fact that almost none of the mention the ending.

The only site that does reviews, which has hinted on the endings was Gametrailers.com, and this was in passing over 5-10 seconds of their review. It is strange that no one else has made mention of the ending.

I think I heard her say that, but I'm not sure if I saw on youtube or not. My LI is Ashley so I can't confirm. But I think you don't have to have her as a LI.
Liara is the best squadmate by far in any case, her and Garrus.

I think that regardless of the spoilers if the end is unsatisfying, that's something worth mentioning. I mean, look at Matrix: Revolutions reviews. You'll see at least some mentioning the lackluster ending.

And the Destroy ending does create another question in regards to the hallucination theory. If in the destroy ending all synthetic life was indeed destroyed, wouldn't that mean Shepard also dies? After all, he is a cyborg (read: part synthetic) and at the very least his synthetic parts would be destroyed too, presumeably killing him. Yet we see him (apparently) alive.
Don't know if this was covered in the opening post, but eh, whatever happens, I find the idea incredibly intriguing.

The starchild explicitly said he would die, but he didn't. So either it was a dream, or the starchild was mistaken or deliberately lying.Black_Claymore wrote...

If we go with the interpretation that the starchild didn't want Shepard to destroy the reapers (which I think is true regardless of whether or not Shepard was indoctrinated), he might have said that simply because he didn't want to admit that that was the only option where Shepard wasn't guaranteed to die.
