Well, after some heavy adding, considering and figuring the most ideal suitation possible with all war assets, even including the assumption that you saved the Collector base even (which gives 10 more points than destroying it does, go figure, TIM was right.) and a ton of other things, and including all the EMS gained from the Infiltrator App, you will still be 187.5 points of EMS short to qualify for 4000 EMS. Even with From Ashes and all other DLC included.

I was wrong, my galactic readiness must have been higher than I thought it was, guess I'm better at MP than I thought.

Though I'll lay dollars to doughnuts that they release more DLC that can push you over 8000 EMS.

Weeeeellll, that sucks. But on the bright side I can now, in good conscience, stop trying.

But yeah, I'd advise waiting until more DLC comes out, then you can bust your balls trying to get highest possible EMS when it's physically possible.

As long as I'm busting my own and not having them busted by Bioware/EA I can deal with that. Thanks.

So I was right in the end. It's impossible to get the 8000 EMS without playing MP... MP is maybe a lot of fun, but to think it has a direct influence on the SP-game AND the ending (not like your own choices from ME1, ME2, ME3), that's really a shame...

Well, we have no idea how EMS effects the end other than seeing the Shepard Alive scene, as far as they are concerened, that could just be extra and you are still getting the "best" ending even with IDT.

That's what I am starting to think.  I do believe that that idea came up earlier, and I'm starting to think that is what it will end up as.

Edit: Oh, wait, I just forgot that you can't detonate the Barrier without your powers being cooled down.  Darn.  Buuuuut, there are still those MAD MELEE SKILLZ.

My human female vanguard has never once been outperformed by a battlemaster.

Granted, she wears all black armor and is named Tex, so the battlemasters never really had a chance.

More thanyou think") and the Normandy "Paradise sequence" (if the EMS are too low, no one comes out of the Normandy)

I've also seen a vid on youtube where you can see your dead squademates on theground, after you got hit by the laser beam (if the EMS are too low). Dunno if it's a fake though...

Well, I have read on the wiki that it is possible for your squad mates to be seen dead if your EMS is low enough.
