+3 for the "chamber's" heroes ref.

Edit : why 3 because your in your 20s :bandit:and still made it

"always with the negative waves Moriarty"

OH! Kelly's Heroes! Great movie indeed. The Chamber's thing threw me off. :?

also.. your edit makes no sense to me, explain please?

You get extra pluses for making the reference despite being fairly young, I believe.

Byne, last time I guessed, I am figuring you to be in either your late 20's or early 30's.

I have brothers older than that.

Besides. I like Donald Sutherland.

I'm 22. I was just clarifying what he meant by his edit. I wasnt personally saying you were young, he was.

Ah. Clarification. It is good.

After all, you're talking to a man of 20 whom likes the stories of Asimov, listens to (early) Genesis and a (very select) selection of Nickelback/Coldplay, and P!nk on the same playlist.

I can recall VHS tapes, know what an 8 track is, bear fond memories of GI Joe and Transformers, and yet still enjoyed Kim Possible and Gargoyles as a child.

I equally enjoy The Lord of the Rings movies, and Auntie Maime, I'll read both the Belgariad and the newest novel from the pens of Karpyshyn and Gaider.

I've played D&D since I was 8, and yet I run Pathfinder now with equal if not surpassed enthusiasm.

What I am trying to say here is, my tastes could not be more anachronistic if you tried.

Well, we have no idea how EMS effects the end other than seeing the Shepard Alive scene, as far as they are concerened, that could just be extra and you are still getting the "best" ending even with IDT.

EMS still affect the cutscenes (space battle before starting Earth Mission, green/red/blue explosions), the dialogue with the Starbrat "Why are you here/Wake up, "You have no hope/ You have hope. More thanyou think") and the Normandy "Paradise sequence" (if the EMS are too low, no one comes out of the Normandy)

I've also seen a vid on youtube where you can see your dead squademates on theground, after you got hit by the laser beam (if the EMS are too low). Dunno if it's a fake though...

And event with IT, you can ony see Shep alive (in London in this case) if the EMS are high enough. Or you're meaning the "Synthesis Ending" as "best" ending ?

Well, I have read on the wiki that it is possible for your squad mates to be seen dead if your EMS is low enough.

Would you mind to give the link please ? This doesn't tie up to the IT at all.

There isn't one specific link, but on each character page on the wiki, if I remember correctly, it says that if Shepard's EMS is low enough he will see the squad mate dead after the blast if he brought said squad mate with him.  Example link:
http://masseffect.wi...Ashley_Williams  Look at the bottom of her ME3 section before the romance section.

Uh, Barrier detonation.  Duh. <_<  Oh, and the MAD MELEE SKILLZ that are innate to all Krogan. :D

My human female vanguard has never once been outperformed by a battlemaster.

Granted, she wears all black armor and is named Tex, so the battlemasters never really had a chance.

Well that's pretty awesome.  Still, I think if one was able to use the Battlemaster at his full potential, he might be able to match or maybe even beat her.  What can I say, Krogan beats everything. (Like tank) ;)

Ooh, I just had a thought.  Wrex vs. Tex.  Who would win?  I personally think it might go like Wrex vs. Aleena.

Remember how Tex vs Grif went?

Wrex has twice as many balls as Grif.

I say Tex in a fair fight.

But due to this:

 Epsilon-Church said...

So now, no matter how tough she is, no matter how hard she fights, she's always going to fail, because that's what she's based on. No matter what she's doing, or what she's trying to accomplish, just when her goal is within her reach, it gets yanked away. Every, single, time. Can you imagine what that's like?

I'd say probably Wrex.

Yeah, you've got a point there.  Of course, if it was versus, say, Garrus Vakarian, even IF Tex didn't have that... disability, she would STILL lose.  Remember, Garrus Vakarian is like Chuck Norris, he doesn't battle, he just allows you to lose. :)

Eh, I played the demo.  It was OK, but it just didn't have that spark.  The only reason I finished it was because I wanted the ME3 gear.

Edit: And yes, I realize we've gotten pretty off topic.

Same here. The combat was good, technically speaking. But the story and design did NOT have me grabbed. I felt no involvement or interest. That and I just didn't like the feeling.

But, considering it's the first offering from a brand new company, well, at least they're trying to break the mold on a few ideas, which can only be commended. Maybe what we see from them next will be better. For a new company, it's an excellent start.

As for getting off topic, well, we're merely passing the time until the next piece of evidence to dissect comes in.

Yeah, I agree with you on both counts.  The devs on Amalur decided to play it relatively safe in terms of the story, setting, etc.  But, it is their first game, and based on what I played, I didn't see anything particularly WRONG with it, it just didn't appeal to me.

On the second point, should we start role playing again to pass the time?  Lex0r11 isn't here.

Edit: Or is he...?

Double Edit: Shoot, yes he is.  I guess that kills that plan.

No worries. The more that I see/ more that I beat off depression with an ugly stick, the more I see IDT is the intention. And marketing wise, it's brilliant. the only problems they have had is the "teasing" that we've been getting, and that can be chalked up to a bunch of people not realizing how what they say can be taken.
