No worries, they're folding parts of it into DA3, so we need only wait. I kind of hope they bring back origins ( you know, just have us choose; ok, we like this voice set, we like this race... ect,)

After my disappointment with DA2 I didnt really pay much attention to any DA related news. Do we know if DA3 is going to be following Hawke again, going back to the Warden-Commander, or an entirely new character?

I kinda wanna play as my Warden again. I miss my crazy casteless dwarf with Jack's voice. She was the best.

Entirely new character.
I'd love a game set in Tevinter. They could even have origins again, like, are you the elven warrior who just escaped slavery or the human noble mage who owned him?

Bah, yet another new character? That was like the worst out of those three options I listed.

I thinki it will be a new character and I am pretty certain we will see Flemeth playing a role in setting the new hero on his journey, like she did with the Warden and Hawke.

In fact it is more than a little curious that Flemeth essentially set two heroes of the first two games on their path. If it happens a third time it will be beyond coincedence.

The question would then be what Flemeth would want with three (or more heroes) and off course what Flemeth even is.

To be honest, the whole mission seemed out of place for me
it looked kinda dull and the fights were annoying
at the missile part I was like "DIE ALREADY BANSHEE!"

btw how awesome would it have been if you had been able to play both Shep and Joker in the last mission. You play 5 minutes with Shep, then it cuts to Joker in the Normandy, you see this huge fleet through the Normandy's front window and have to shoot at Harby from orbit.. kinda like that.

Meh, unlike everyone else, I never really wanted to control the Normandy in a space battle.

I didnt even like controlling the spaceship in Halo Reach, felt too different from the rest of the game to me.

Well, I also didn't feel like flying the Normandy (I would, however, like someone to make a new X-wing vs. TIE-Fighter game). But I agree with Earthborn shep that the whole London mission was kind of "meh" (come on, Bioware, this is the final assualt - so I want soldiers, loads of soldiers, and I want them to fight loads of enemies).

I agree that would of been just as out of place in the third game like the take back London bit since ME3 focus on being attached to Shepard. But  I know been playing way to much DA2 when I keep thinking I am going to hear "BIANCA THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL!" mmm that chest hair.

Edit: About the DA3 thing I love my Hawke but I can live with a new character as long they have Fenris and Varric in it OH and make Varric romancable like he was originally going to be.

I'll be pissed if I have to endure that knife-ear again. Especially since I left him lying in a pool of his own blood back in the Gallows. But then again, the DA team has never respected player choices about character deaths before, why start now?

Fen'Harel, most likely. Oh, and Andraste was the Dumat OGB. (No, I'm not kidding, check the dates, it matches up perfectly.)

Maybe something minigame-esque in the likes of SWTOR, a small fly by straight to Earth. *Haters gonna hate*

Hehe, come to think of it, here I am wishing upon a flight-sim minilevel at the final mission WHICH DIDN'T EVEN HAVE AN END BOSS <_<

I only like Fenris because the VA he has one sexy voice and isnt to bad looking either. But Varric come on there has to be Varric!!!! For the record I loved DA2 I admit the ending was weak but I still enjoyed it, but i respect the people who don't I know some who hates ME he finds it boring but I still respect his opinion mind you he makes up for it for liking other games lol.

Do you have something new relating to IT to talk about, or would you just like us to talk about things we've already talked about?

Off-topic conversations are how we kill time in-between new evidence finds

Sorry, forgot to comment.

Well, if only the lightnings weren't red but green...but then this one would've been to easy!

I think Seran's overall goal was Synthesis, but what he got was...well...I guess that is the 'reality' of synthesis, one that I'd have accepted. Some green glowing eyes are Disney's version of genetic mutation.

Byne been meaning to ask you, have you ever noticed how the kid stands looking down on the carnage before his event of running into the lock building happens? He actually standing there with his hands on the glass paneling of the railing looking down.

Hey guys, just had a thought. You know the "other Shepard" in your last dream? (you know, the dream right after Shepard is staring at the N7 helmet and says that "they thought they heard it crack"during that last fight?) The Shepard that embraces the child?

...think that was the birth of the TIM part of Sheps mind?

EDIT - actually, this is just after Thessia, right? If so this is clearly the traumatic event that unhinges this part of Shepards psyche.

Good observation... I also noticed it and found it weird. I thought Shep is really going nuts...
I'm still  not the IT-believer, but this will make me think about it a little more...

Glad to hear the exam didn't suffer too much from the time passed on this thread :D... and hope you'll succeed.

I like this, and in the event you aren't a beleiver, check out this post;

http://social.biowar...3/1678#11619834

I've read it as you posted it. I'm a hard nut to crack :D
I will repeat something (sorry for trolling). I'm not arguing against the IT because I find it weird, I'm just keeping the background of the game in mind. This last one doesn't tie up well to the IT.

I personnaly think that Bioware (wether or not influenced by EA) took a dangerous tide since ME2, willing to gain a wider audience and thus sacrifying the fan-base and the ME3 issues (other than the controversial ending "s") prove it.

social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/355/index/11499397/1

While the story got more linear in ME2 and the gameplay more TPS-oriented, the characters (maybe because it was more focused on your squad), their relationships with us and their background were good enough to make us enjoy it and oversee these problems. The final mission was very well staged, but I found the boss fight with the human reaper ridiculous.

In ME3 the gameplay, the dialogue and the story are even more simplified (go recruit, not squademates this time, but almost all of the races of the galaxy, for an even crazier suicide-mission. And btw we found on Mars the device of a super-gun to take out the Reapers. Further more why took Earth suddendly so much importance ? In ME1 I loved the fact that the humans were just a race among others, and not the best one, and were struggling to get more consideration and find their place in the galaxy).

Introducing new characters (Vega, Allers, Cortez!!!!) without any charisma, except Javik and EDI, and ignoring all the squadmates from ME2, reducing them to simple cameos, wasn't a clever decision for me. One more time, in order to make newcomers don't feel lost ? They should begin then with ME1 and ME2, if they really want to fully taste ME3. If not, then too bad for them. Not to mention that it would have been more benefecial for their own sales...

I won't speak about the retcons (Rachni-Queen, Geth VI..) it's already been mentioned a thousand times... Same goes for the possible pressure from EA.

So why bother doing such an elaborate ending (IT) since the story ist that simple and most made for people who never played ME ? The space-magical, face-value ending fits than much better...

You've said  somewhere that the game and the ending were made to satisfy both of the Newcomers (face-value ending) and the Fans (IT). Fair enough... It could be also an explanation... But for me it's too much compromising...

Edit: I find a mental fight with Harbinger much more better than a stupid boss fight with a Reaper that could tear apart a dreadnought with a single shot...
