Something I had overlooked before. Like many peices of our "evidence" it is subjective, but interesting.

www.youtube.com/watch

You'll note the same, although faint, sound effects from the dreams which are later interupted by Anderson bringing back attention to the real world. Also, there is no visual evidence that Shepard hit his head- his neck, if anything, would have been strained. Continuing, given the synchronization of his movements, it hints at more of a confused state than simply being in pain.

Of course, this could simply be a reaction to nearly losing conciousness. For me, (I was actually just looking over the scene again for the heck of it), it was more of a "huh, that's odd" moment.

Narratively speaking, such little tidbits are often used and then brought up again toward the end of the story to show just how subtle the author(s) were at developing a plot device.

It puts the post on the next page for critical analysis. Foreshadowing or headache? That is the qustion.

Is there any theory about the reason why strachild says diffrent things if your EMS is low?
"Wake up"/"Why are you here?"
"You have hope, more than you think"/"You don't need hope"

I've had my own taps on the head and what I remember of them pretty much correlates with what's shown in the video. A sort of windy noise. So unless we get a good clip of the ambient noise from the dreams (which I believe will be difficult to get with all the whispers in the way) then I'd call it just the result of getting smacked in the head.

-edit- Scratch that. When I got my concussions it was when I was sailing... so yeah. Windy noise then was probably just... the wind.

Short explanation:

Playing to Shep's mental state depending on how much success he's had, I'd say.

I'm sure i've said this more than once in response, but it was never commented on:

Relishing in the grief of others?

Yeah.

if you are mean to me, i enjoy telling you that you are wrong. if its really grief for you if the idt is disproven, well, you might want to reorganize your priorities.

Either Shepard hasn't impressed the Reapers enough to put effort into their ploy, or the Indoctrination hasn't had enough time to set in due to minimal time spent gathering Assets.

Under the face-value interpretation, this would likely be because of the more effective changes via the Crucible, (built with better EMS), altering the Catalyst or from its impression that this cycle has earned its place. Without High EMS, the Catalyst is still hostile and barely compelled by the Crucible.

Never said that i was feeling grief, it is the overall grievance over the ending situation and all you want to do is shove something into peoples faces. In your case it is more than gloating and i believe there is a special place in psychology for that kind of "need".

It is also the way you always start one of your appearances here with your words. You are not here to ask or discuss in an honest or respectful way. You know exactly what you think of IT people and you conveyed your feelings perfectly 100's of pages ago. Please tell me otherwise.

So please excuse people, if they think your forfeited your right to be taken seriously and wait until summer.

I thought that it's more like: You can only destroy us, you don't need hope, so I'm not gonna give you those two other fake possibilities... Just kidding :P

Sorry. Definately does not sound even similar to my ears.

But the dream noises definitely do suggest indoc.

I've just read your cutscenes about how can the DLC can confirm the IT without any new gameplay. Well... Hell of a work. Very well written. It makes the green ending also looks good :D
I just have one simple question (maybe you were already asked, I didn't find your answer though): who opened the arms of the citadel (considering you had enough EMS to protect the Crucible) ? We already know it's not Shep.

If anybody else already knows the answer, please feel free to give it.

I hate to beat a dead horse if it has already been done, however, does anyone have a brief summary on how a cinematic-only ending shall work with the theory? Or a link to it?

The pure clip is at full magnification. When you run the tracks together are rhythmatic and pitch parallels.

The audio spikes aren't as profound, but they're still synchronized. Posted Image

a) There's some confusion whether it'll actually be cinematics only or not. Or what cinematics constitute. Could involve more dialogue.

B) New scenes after waking up/giving in that basically continue where the game left off. No gameplay required.
