LMAO! Well, I'm going to have to work on that. I never even noticed that I do that. That is so funny. No, I only feel 85, but I'm actually 47. This is the first time I've ever been on a forum and now I've been on this one for a month. I love that I don't know peoples ages or names. It's o.k. now because I've gotten a sense of were everyone is coming from. But I like it because it removes that element of pre conceived notion. But apparently I can't escape my pre conceived notion about my self. I think I'm 85. lol.Skillz1986 wrote...
Your own. you're always saying that you're realy old. by the sound of it, one would think you're 85..just curious about it.

Yeah that was badly done, it would not have taken much to put in about half dozen civies just to give it a little more realism.Skillz1986 wrote...
On the other hand..i freaking HATED benning. jeez..kill 500 cerberus soldiers to save to civies. best thing was..you've cleaned an area in fron of you, and ceberus troopers spawn behind your back out of nowhere. this mission p***ed me of like no other.

I do agree with on the Earth mission.Sammuthegreat wrote...

Just wanted to ask, which mission did you guys like (other than Rannoch and Tuchanka which were masterpieces) ?
Every single one. The Priority: Earth mission was incredible too, right up to the moment Harby's beam hit.
Vancouver made me strongly doubt about the quality of the game, though (excepting the sequence with Anderson staying on Earth and the Reaper appearance).
Mars was good, Retake the citadel average and Palaven well... nothing special.
Sur'kesh was well written, especially if you bring Javik with you. And WREX!!! "I've always wondered if the Normandy was warship or a freakshow"
I found Thessia way too short (in fact, I didn't like every mission where Kai Leng was. But it's maybe because I really CAN'T stand him)
The Scout missing sidequest was intense, especially the music www.youtube.com/watch (from 2:04) at the end...

Why? Well it starts much too fast, Reapers just arrive and start messing sh*t up, that should have been way more epic. And who was the genius who decided not to put any background music in (until the part where you have to wait for extraction). As this part was the demo, it made me fear the worst.
So.. actually a big part (70%) of the game are made out of sheer awesome, but the rest.. well...

Palaven set the entire mood for me. Sure the barren moon was not most engaging vista, but the image of two Reapers walking across the surface with the Turian fleet fighting above and all around as well as Palaven burning in the background had quite the effect on me.
I think Garrus described it best "And they want my opinion on how to fight that?"
Beyond that Tuchanka is my absolute favorite. The two missions with the Primarchs son (especially the first one) are pretty brilliant and the final one, jesus do I even have to talk about that one. Reaper Destroyer, turian ships battling it, Ancient Ruins and a huge ****ing tresher maw.
Also really liked the Rachni mission even if the Rachni themselves were underplayed. Nice setting fighting your way through the caves and if you supported the Krogan/Asari couple from ME2 you get some bitter follow up on them here. Plus Grunt at the end is a badass.
The mission with jack is also among my favorites simply for the humor and the cameo from the Overlord dlc (if you sent him to the Academy) is nice. Though i really hate the battle in the large chamber, dont know why but always kills me a few times on Insanity.

I only disliked the mission on Benning. I mean I'm not looking forward to replaying it. Maybe it's because it was an adaptation of the MP map from the Demo.
Otherwise, all missions are epic and unique.

yeah, also thought it was unpleasent. but benning was unpleasent and did not make sense at all. what bugged me the most were the behind the back spawns by ceberus troops on sanctum you could at least establish some kind of defensive position once you've cleared an area. impossible on benning, at least for me.

I really started to feel real challenge in the meeting with the Salarian, Turian and Krogan (the Dalatrass was exquisitly hateable)...

It could be an explanation (I never play the MP so I can't say) but Benning with its 2 civilians to protect (can they actually die, if you scr** up ?) was a fail...paxxton wrote...

I was just wondering why turians didn't use helmets on Palaven's moon? How did they breathe?
The entire moon is riddled with undgeround bases some of which have powerful generators creating fields across the moon where heat and air dosent escape.

Enjoying my Engineer at the moment. Went with Tali´s defense drone as choosen ability simply because it means i can now summon a the Turret (configured with long range rockets) Combat Drone (Configured for maximum shock and survival) and my little defense drone for personal defense.
Then I simply move in to some cover near the enemies position and obliterate them with shotgun, overload and Incinirate while my defense drone stuns anyone getting near me.
Really makes you feel like a badass tech specialist.
