However unpleasant, it's much better to have a cliffhanger ending and hope for the next full game (several hours of next-generation high-quality gameplay/cinematics) than a complete ending (a few additional minutes of gameplay/cutscenes) with no need for a continuation.

Hello? Is anyone there?

America, Gavyn.

Yes I have a ****ing weird name. don't give me a hard time.

Go ahead, guess my first name!

your name is clark, or should i say kal'el. you just want to throw us off with the lex0r11. i can see a lex and a luth0r in there. and the 11 is actually the roman number 2, and means you only support the superman and superman 2 movie.

you are so transparent to me.

i grew up playing nintendo. and what did they teach me? save the princess, save the kingdom, save, save, rescue, rescue, self sacrife and so on.

i really thought about the decisions. so there we have red. kill. would be not that bad, but all synthetics? geth, edi? (no matter if edi dies or not, he said all synthetics and thats the information i have to work with). then green, rewriting all being. pretentious. what gives me the right to do that? im not god (if there is one), i cant decide which direction evolution should take. so, that leaves me with blue. control. since they are already controlled in the first place, i dont find it that unethical to take control myself and tell them do not kill. since im a nintendo kid im pretty sure i wont turn to the dark side. and if i do maybe the next shepard will visit me in the next citadel and i let him decide then.

if all options are bad you have to choose the lesser evil. (thats also what i liked about the choices. they all suck.)

Sounds like you and I used the same thought process and came to the same conclusion the first time around. We may not agree on whether the IT is true or not, but we definitely agree on the better of the "face value" endings.

Unfortunately, we both got indoctrinated. ;)

Hey guys, guess who I just ran into in Batman: Arkham City! Ashley Williams! More specifically, her voice actress, Kimberly Brooks. You find people in the craziest places, just like Shepard seems to find everyone he had ever met before at some point.

*snip*

I agree but in this case their deaths were three years ago and they chose, somewhat, to do what it took to keep the reapers from winning.

At first when I played the demo, I thought the kid was part of Shepards imagination. This is what led me to believe IT when I first say it. I thought this was Shepard as a child, since he may have been recreating his checkered past due to the reaper invasion.

I was hoping before ME3 was released that this was the case and he was going crazy or have PTSD symptoms. That clearly wasn't the case.

Yea I understand that Kaidan/Ash chose their deaths for the greater good.

When I first played the demo, I played as a Male Shep and I thought the kid was Shep when he was young and it was a way for him to lose his mind. I then played with femShep and the kid was there, then I was wondering why is the kid there and is he messing with Shep's mind.

Yeah I didn't think about the femshep thing. If the child turned into a girl in Femshep's playthrough, it would have been even more mind blowing.

I took a break from this thread for a couple of weeks, and it's grown 500+ pages lol..

Just thought I'd chime in and shout "INDOCTRINATION FTW!"

Youtube the 2nd dream, Shepard is not sleeping and is IN FACT standing up with a datapad in his/her hand... Dream 2 is a hallucination, not a dream.

Looks to me like Shepard was sitting in bed and dozzed off.

He was sitting at his desk.

Just to 2:02  and you can see the wine glass on the table in front of him as he sits up to his left.  If he were at his desk the wine glass would be to his right.

My fault, you're right. Weird how there was nothing on that data pad though.

I don't think so though. If he were standing, then how did he lean forward?

Hmm. According to IMDB Grunt, Saren, and Nassana Dantius/Kahlee Sanders/Princess Azula are also in Arkham City.

Princess Azula was the only one I noticed when playing though.

She plays one of the Arkham security guards that you can talk to after your first encounter Harley Quinn.  At least, I'm pretty sure it's her.

Wow, I can't wait to find the others.  Although, Grunt's voice actor Steve Blum is a master at changing his voice if you look at some of the other things he's done, so he probably won't sound the same.

that depends on what happiness is for you. if ignorance is bliss, i appologize. otherwise i feel obligated to tell you the truth.

nobody likes me? that makes me sad, but thanks for telling me. i thought the unkind troll remarks about my character were meant to point me towards an open role in the upcoming bilbo baggins movie. my mistake.

I have an instinctive reaction to never trust anyone Grey DeLisle voices if she uses the same voice she uses for Princess Azula.

I was totally waiting for Catwoman to shoot me with lightning the entire game.

Thats how I knew not to trust Nassana in ME1.

Waldstr, the point here is that we all know they are just voice actors and will be in other games. You're not breaking news to us.

You're like the guy who goes to a magic show and kindly informs everyone that it isnt REALLY magic, just clever tricks.

Thanks, but we all know that.
